Lost of Fantasy: An Uncomfortable Game
Yeah, Lost of Fantasy really was an uncomfortable game. I calmed my pounding heart a bit.
Logically speaking, it could just be some absurd hype from a former pro gamer, or people blindly sucking up because it's a new release promo, right?
So, I decided to check out the community—the real underbelly of this world—to gauge the situation.
[My highest tier is Silver, main is mid but recommend a job?]
[If there's nothing else, just do Warrior or Mage]
[No black sheep doing Priest unless you're a pushover???]
[Which server to pick? What's this faction thing?]
Just skimming the titles gives off a vibe.
Fine, server talk aside—people not knowing what factions are?
Alright then, time for a veteran with over 10 years in Lost of Fantasy to drop some wisdom...
Sure enough, just as I expected.
No one giving proper faction recs? This is a pretty big deal.
You could even say it's the core of Lost of Fantasy.
They don't even know what RVR is? Faction vs. faction PVP...
How is that possible? Even outside Lost of Fantasy, Korea's got games with vampires vs. hunters!
Anyway, the rest of the gallery was legendary.
[So which has the best performance? Rogue's top-tier right?]
[Races—just follow the meta? All similar perf?]
[Holy Knight < Smells like trash just looking at it, upvote lol]
From my perspective as an in-game expert, I could scream it from the rooftops, but these posts kept piling up nonstop.
And the people in this world were sharing this wrong info like it was gospel.
Hearing them dismiss racial traits? Looked like I needed to evangelize and spill all the knowledge to speed things up.
"Whatever..."
Meal done, cleanup finished—I launched Lost of Fantasy with a cheerful heart.
The familiar OST from over 10 years of play hit my ears unchanged, greeting me with a login screen that felt just a tad more polished.
...Damn, my heart's racing again. This track's just that good.
Absolutely swore I'd never touch it again after quitting, but deep down, I was a guy who loved Lost of Fantasy.
Well, a girl now.
Whoa...
This nostalgic sight tugs at the heartstrings.
In my old world, Lost of Fantasy was a game only diehards played. Servers kept merging until it was basically one big one—nothing like this "very crowded" everywhere vibe. Pure memories.
Anyway, Venus or Murmuru it is.
Venus for Alliance Union.
Murmuru for Demon King Army.
"...Men pick Demon King Army. Demons all the way."
One last gallery search before character creation.
Not like the ancient days—now there's "internet streaming."
A quick search tells you which server draws what crowd.
[Streamers on Venus, right?]
[Venus server, Alliance faction, RedSalt for gallery!!!!]
[Wtf, other servers scams? Only Venus/Murmuru?]
[★ Mention streamers = insta-del. Who's on what server XXX]
Doesn't seem like streamers all pile into one server.
But mostly Venus or Murmuru?
Combining with my knowledge...
"Murmuru it is..."
Server: Murmuru.
Faction: Demon King Army.
Race: Demon.
Job: Holy Knight.
From customization to job select.
No hesitation—straight to my go-to build.
Holy Knight was always the cheat class in my heart.

With over 20 years of service in my world but a shiny new release here, Lost of Fantasy's look and feel differed a lot from my memories.
Overall vibe and systems echoed the "original" era, but tiny details screamed modern polish.
Like someone modded a classic version and handed it to me.
Proof it wasn't pure original: picking Holy Knight right off in Demon King Army faction.
> Whoa lol this guy's for real?
> Looks brutal af
> Demon skin color—this the best?
> Where to get skills??? Skills where????
Everything felt alien to chat-spamming newbies, but familiar to me.
Graphics sleek and shiny for the 2020s, bodies a bit sexier... but that's it.
...Honestly, I get why it's popping here. My world's clunky graphics scared newbies off: "No way that trashy Yankee game."
This Lost of Fantasy? K-game sleek. Nice to look at.
"Grab quests... level up... almost same as original, so quest route's identical..."
Lost of Fantasy was unforgiving.
That drove the open-world exploration, but for pure leveling? Awful.
No strong main story—quests to next zone, but you walked there. Brutal.
Later expansions got friendlier—no need for "optimal level routes."
But now? I gotta figure it out! And I know how!
> Guys! Guys! How do skills work in this game???
Leveled up, swept quests—ready for next zone...
Then a pitiful soul jumping in place yelling caught my eye.
In other games, it'd sound dumb—but this was Lost of Fantasy.
A Shield Warrior with a dizzyingly folksy ID bounced desperately.
Quaint name, but why so pretty custom? Wild contrast.
> Skills from job expert
> Where's the job expert???
> Follow me
> This guy's the Warrior expert. Pay him for skills
> Whoa
> ???
> No way, skills for real???
> Epic lmao
Post-expansion, noob-proofed this—but back then?
No auto-skills on level up. Some needed quests or traits—knowledge gap was huge.
> How'd you know?
> Saw it passing by
> Why didn't I see
> Thanks for the tip—add friends?
Her jumping friend request cracked me up.
> Nah
> Too annoying
I get the sentiment, but nah—too much hassle.
No more people drama in Lost of Fantasy.
I know the flow—gonna cherry-pick the best and ghost.
Even post-raid launch, no leading parties, no hair-pulling raid management.
MIA raid leaders.
Healer ego wars in the shadows.
Main tank's sudden "back hurts, sitting out."
Mage bitching "Why'd he take that?!" "Why no loot restrict?!" Rogue whining for plate drops, rice-muncher refusing pots after I told him to chug...
No. Absolutely not.
"Never again. Never."
Why risk a friend add dragging me somewhere?
But my refusal? Pointless.
Ssangmundong Unbreakable Shield was a famous streamer with over 4,000 viewers.
