Everything Was Perfect... Wasn't It?
In a near-modern alternate world that blended narcotics, mafia families, and a generous splash of fantasy. There, the man who had subdued the underworld and become a living legend was the godfather known as the Wolf. I became his adopted son, married the younger sister I had grown up with as though we were blood-related, and rose to the position of successor. On top of that, I even shared a secret romance with the daughter of another family boss.
It was all perfect. Absolutely flawless.
