How to Win Back My Man's Attention
“Stop with the nonsense and just drink.”
Jung-hoon stared down at the can for a long time before muttering under his breath.
“This time I didn’t come just to ask for a favor.”
Tae-seok’s eyebrow twitched slightly.
“What are you talking about? What are you trying to wager now?”
Jung-hoon smiled bitterly.
“It’s not a wager.”
He fell silent for a moment, carefully choosing his next words.
“If I want something… I have to pay a price equal to it, right?”
The night breeze slipped between the two men.
Tae-seok watched Jung-hoon in silence.
Jung-hoon kept his eyes on the can as he slowly continued.
“If you grant my request… I’ll do whatever you want in return.”
“How would you know what I want?”
“Well… that’s… something even you don’t fully understand yet, right?”
Tae-seok’s expression hardened by a fraction.
Jung-hoon laughed quietly without raising his head.
“But that’s how people are, isn’t it?”
He tightened his grip on the can and muttered.
“Once you start wanting something… you always end up giving something up. I forgot that for a while, and this is where it got me…”
The night wind blew again.
It was cold.
Tae-seok stood in that wind, staring intently at Jung-hoon’s face.
After a brief silence, he spoke.
“Fine. I’ll think about it.”
“Yeah… think positively. As you know… if it’s something material, I can meet you most of the way.”
After finishing the breakfast Eun-jung had prepared, Tae-seok sat with Eun-su, both of them staring at the tablet screen.
Eun-su slowly scrolled down before her finger paused.
The atmosphere in the comment section had clearly shifted from before.
Eun-su read through the comments for a while before passing the tablet to Tae-seok beside her.
“It’s only been about three weeks, but the reactions are finally starting to roll in.”
Tae-seok gave the screen a cursory glance and replied indifferently.
“She’s changed a lot.”
It was a short answer.
Eun-su looked back down at the comment section.
“The sharp ones have been sensing it since last week.”
She rested her chin in her hand, staring at the screen, and murmured slowly.
“But isn’t the change happening too quickly?”
“That’s how you make sure the viewers can’t pull themselves away.”
“Still… if it’s too fast, they’ll get suspicious first…”
Instead of answering, Tae-seok took a sip of coffee.
Eun-su narrowed her eyes at his profile.
“You… how often are you seeing Ji-young these days?”
“Huh?”
Tae-seok paused, then let out a small chuckle.
The moment she saw that reaction, Eun-su’s face twisted.
“We had a clear agreement. Meet only once every two or three days, and keep orgasms limited to once or twice.”
“Ah! Uh… yeah, we did.”
“Are you actually keeping to it?”
“Of course. It’s not like Ji-young is so fucking gorgeous that I need to have her every single day…”
“Really?”
“I genuinely want to stick to the limit. But…”
“But?”
Eun-su’s eyebrows rose.
Tae-seok glanced at her and smiled.
“Ji-young… comes looking for me every night.”
“Haah…”
Eun-su pressed a hand to her forehead and sighed.
“I knew it. And you hold her every time she shows up?”
She shook her head as if he were hopeless.
“No!!! Most of the time I calm her down and send her back downstairs…”
“Most of the time?”
Tae-seok avoided her eyes and scratched his head.
“It feels wrong to turn her away every single time she comes.”
Eun-su stared at him in disbelief.
“At this rate the channel’s going to get called a scam.”
“That’s for the operator to worry about.”
Tae-seok grinned shamelessly.
Eun-su’s eyebrows shot up.
“Hey.”
“Alright. I’ll be careful.”
“Good… You’re the one who needs to be careful. Once a woman sleeps with you… it’s impossible for her not to want more. That’s just how it is.”
“Really? Is that why you came to me yesterday, sis?”
Tae-seok casually draped an arm around her shoulder.
“I don’t know… You haven’t been holding me much lately.”
“If you keep giving me service like yesterday… I’ll call you anytime…”
“What the… You’ve been so busy lately… It’s not easy for someone who stays home all day to be this occupied…”
“That’s…”
“Anyway.”
She pulled up the analytics screen again.
The graph that had plateaued was now climbing steeply once more since last week.
Both view count and subscriber growth had shifted noticeably.
And at the center of it all was no longer Eun-su, but Ji-young.
Eun-su stared quietly at the comment section.
“Probably by next week…”
Eun-su slowly lifted the corners of her mouth.
“It’s going to explode for real.”
Tae-seok took another sip of coffee and gave a light nod.
“Then we’re set.”
Eun-su turned her eyes back to the tablet and smiled with satisfaction.
Eun-jung was cleaning the dining table in the kitchen, occasionally glancing toward the sofa.
Even after wiping it with a damp cloth, the uneasy feeling refused to leave her.
Eun-su sat close beside Tae-seok, pointing at the tablet screen and explaining something, while Tae-seok occasionally nodded or gave short replies.
The distance between them was small, and that small distance tightened something inside Eun-jung’s chest.
She also kept catching Tae-seok’s hand brushing against Eun-su’s thigh.
Folding the dishcloth, she thought.
They seem closer than I am with him now.
It was less jealousy and more a sense of being left out.
Eun-jung’s hands paused for a moment.
She had overheard the words Tae-seok had just said to Eun-su.
“If you keep giving me service like yesterday… I’ll call you anytime…”
Eun-jung gripped the dishcloth tighter.
Ah… so last night Tae-seok was with Eun-su. That’s why he didn’t come to my room.
That realization overlapped with the fact that he had skipped their morning sex today.
The one time when she could have Tae-seok all to herself was shrinking lately.
Sometimes he didn’t even come down for breakfast. Even when he did, he would eat the meal she prepared and go straight back upstairs.
Things she had once brushed off were now scraping at her nerves.
Am I… slowly being pushed out like this?
She bit her lip.
Her expression looked as if she were quietly angry with herself.
She used to be the woman who spent the most time by Tae-seok’s side, the one who reacted most strongly to his touch.
Yet now it felt like that position was gradually being handed over to Eun-su.
It made her anxious.
It felt as though her place was disappearing without her even noticing.
Eun-su finished packing her bag, slipped on her shoes, and stepped out the front door.
Tae-seok rose from the sofa and turned toward the stairs, apparently heading up to his room.
That was when it happened.
“Tae-seok.”
Eun-jung’s voice stopped him in his tracks.
It carried a tone slightly lower and more earnest than usual.
The knowledge that he had been with Eun-su last night, the skipped morning intimacy, and the sight of the two of them sitting side by side over the tablet kept swirling in her head.
Tae-seok turned to look at her.
“What?”
“Can you… stay a little longer?”
Eun-jung walked out of the kitchen and met his eyes.
Her fingers kept fidgeting with the strings of her apron, betraying her nervousness.
“There’s something… I want to show you.”
Her voice was small, but it trembled with a strange intensity.
She simply wanted to hold on to him.
Any excuse would do.
She just wanted his gaze to stay on her a little longer, even if only for this moment.
“What is it?”
“Just wait a second.”
Eun-jung hurried into her room.
A short while later, the door opened slowly.
Tae-seok’s eyes changed in an instant.
A black maid dress.
A crisp white apron cinching her waist.
Bare legs revealed beneath the short hem.
And a small ribbon perched on her head.
It was an atmosphere completely different from her usual self.
The outfit had clearly been designed with a risqué concept in mind, but paired with Eun-jung’s voluptuous figure, the effect was doubled.
“Does it… look weird?”
The tips of her ears were already flushed crimson.
“Eun-jung.”
Tae-seok was genuinely surprised.
Of course she had shown him bold outfits before—tight dresses without a slip or underwear underneath—but this was the first time she had appeared in something so deliberately costumed.
The outfit was more than simply “sexy clothing.”
It carried a clear meaning.
Submission.
A woman’s declaration that she was surrendering herself completely to a man.
Eun-jung lowered her head slightly and smiled shyly.
Her eyes trembled, yet her determination was visible.
“What do you think? I worked up the courage to prepare this… for you…”
Her voice still carried a faint tremor.
She worried how Tae-seok would receive the outfit, whether it looked too childish, yet she desperately hoped his gaze would linger on her just a little longer.
Tae-seok walked over to her.
He examined her body from top to bottom with meticulous care.
His gaze grew increasingly sticky.
Her calves.
Her thighs.
The waistline emphasized by the apron.
And her breasts that rose and fell with each breath.
Simply receiving that gaze made heat bloom inside Eun-jung’s body.
Then he placed his hands on her.
Starting at her shoulders, sliding down her arms, wrapping around her wrists.
Then back up, grazing her neckline, following the apron strings to her waist.
He touched every inch.
As if confirming his possession.
“Haa… why aren’t you saying anything? Is it… that strange?”
Eun-jung’s voice trembled thinly.
Her breath was laced with embarrassment, anxiety, and anticipation all at once.
Tae-seok watched her for a moment, then slowly ran his fingertips down her thigh. The deliberate silence made her pupils quiver even more.
“Why are you like this… do you really hate it?”
When she asked again, cautiously, Tae-seok smiled with satisfaction.
“No.”
He lifted his hands and pulled her waist into his arms.
“It’s the opposite.”
“……”
“You’re so beautiful I couldn’t speak.”
At those words, Eun-jung’s face flushed instantly.
She averted her eyes in embarrassment, but relief spread across her lips.
“Really?”
“Yes. But why the sudden outfit?”
She couldn’t answer right away.
She bit her lip, lowered her gaze, and only after a long pause did she speak softly.
“…To be honest, I’ve been feeling anxious lately.”
“Anxious?”
“It feels like I’m slowly being pushed out of your heart.”
Tae-seok’s expression stiffened slightly.
“Why would you think that?”
“You’ve been with Eun-su all the time lately. So many women come to your room… and this morning you didn’t hold me either.”
Eun-jung averted her eyes, as if embarrassed by her own words.
