Slaughter in the Rain — The Supermarket Advance
Was it just the women gathered here?
I climbed the stairs to the second floor of the villa and knocked on the door.
The movement inside fell silent, but the door never opened.
After waiting for a while, it stayed completely still like the dead. Was this one of those cowards who was just hiding their breath?
Then I would have to break in.
At the doorknob of the front door I jammed the crowbar in and yanked with all my strength.
— CRACK!
The sound of metal snapping and bending filled the air. After a few more brutal tugs the lock shattered completely and the door swung open.
“W-who are you?! Don’t come in!”
A woman’s voice. Of course she was telling me not to enter.
“If you surrender and hand over all the food you have, I’ll let you live.”
When I stepped inside, one woman lunged at me. But was she even a woman? Despite the female body, her hair was a wild sports cut like a buzz cut from the night.
I focused my mind and Bullet Time kicked in, slowing time around me.
Easy as pie, I dodged the jungle knife she swung wildly and snatched it from her at the same time.
Her eyes widened in shock. I grabbed her slender neck with my empty left hand and lifted her straight up. She was small and light; even one-handed I barely felt her weight.
At her petite frame she kicked and thrashed like a fish out of water.
Behind her I spotted four more women.
One had the exact same buzz cut. Two had short hair that looked like men’s. The last one had long flowing hair.
All of them were ugly and plump, except the long-haired one who actually looked decent. No, decent was probably the right word.
“Is that all of you? Still want to fight?”
The fear and despair in their eyes froze them for a second. Then they screamed and charged.
Stupid… they were actually going to fight?
I squeezed my grip tighter and heard a sickening crack. Their bodies went limp, arms and legs hanging uselessly.
I hurled the first one aside and focused again. Time slowed further.
The charging women were built big, so they looked strong, but their movements were slow and clumsy.
I pulled the jungle knife and started carving through them one by one.
Because time was so slow, dodging their attacks was ridiculously easy. While I evaded, I stabbed the knife into their chests and yanked it out fast. The blades sank in deep because they were charging straight into the counter.
After I cut down every single one, only the long-haired woman remained.
She threw her kitchen knife to the floor and wailed.
“I-I’m not a femi! P-please spare me! Uuuu…”
“Femi? You all are femi?”
“Yes… these big sis… (sobbing) I knew they were femi but I never knew they were les… At some point they started touching me and…”
Why was this one acting so pitiful? She kept pretending to be weak, whining and sniffling.
Hard to feel sorry for her. Better to have fought to the end like the others and died gloriously.
I drove the jungle knife through the bodies on the floor and finished them off.
“But how do women rape each other? What the hell is that supposed to mean?”
“N-no… they use their hands… or… tools… pressing their pussies together…”
“Rubbing their cunts together?”
“Y-yes…”
“Holy shit… makes sense. Same with men, right? You want to live?”
“Y-yes! P-please…”
“Then hand over every bit of food you have.”
At my command the woman quickly searched the kitchen and began grabbing supplies.
Way less than I expected. Maybe enough for a week at best?
I checked myself and found it was completely empty.
“Why is there only this much? Are you all about to starve?”
“N-no… the big sis always act tough, but when it came to fighting the men they couldn’t do it. We had more before, but when we went out looking for supplies a lot of us got killed…”
I sat right there and devoured every last piece of food one by one.
The woman in the corner kept chatting away, bad-mouthing the other women who were there earlier. She said she hated men, but she had actually been raped by a handsome guy. Because she had no skill, she couldn’t get food either. All kinds of excuses.
In a blink I had finished the entire week’s worth and it was gone.
“A-are you… sparing me?”
The woman in the corner spoke quietly.
“Hah. Fine. I’ll spare you. Strip everything off.”
“W-what? That’s… why…”
“You survived because of your pretty face. Now you have to pay the price. Or fight with a knife like the girls on the floor.”
She stripped so fast her body was completely bare. Her breasts weren’t huge, but the curves were decent.
When I took her to the bedroom and touched her chest she blushed. Her face didn’t look like she hated it.
“I’m not that handsome, right?”
“N-no… I’ve never seen a man this good-looking. Honestly, you’re my ideal type… can’t you take me with you?”
You bitch. Compared to the women I’m taking, you’re not even a fingernail.
I grabbed her by the hair in silence and dragged her to the bed. The woman who knew better started sucking enthusiastically.
“Ugh… ughblub…”
While I pounded her, her digestion sped up and her body recovered to normal.
I yanked her hair and fucked her roughly from behind. The big breasts on her long, ugly frame bounced wildly with every thrust. Still, her pussy was dripping a lot; her thighs were soaked.
I fucked her until I filled her womb completely. Her whole body trembled as she came from the first ejaculation in her life. I finally felt alive.
The women’s weapons were all pathetic; I hadn’t bothered to collect them.
When I was ready to leave, the woman covered her tits and spoke up.
“T-take me too. I’ll do anything. Cook, fuck, whatever…”
“Fuck? You’re good at that too. I don’t need anyone who can’t even handle one load.”
“W-what? No, but…”
I left her whining with a disappointed look and walked out. Even after I left she stuck her head out into the hallway and watched me go.
After eating an entire week’s food my condition felt back to normal.
The bastard who killed me with those sunglasses? I have to take revenge. I’ll kill him so miserably. No, I can’t kill him yet. I’ll keep him alive and torture him instead.
I headed toward the Large Mart. First I should do some scouting.
When I got close, a massive volley of gunfire exploded from somewhere.
This time it was coming from the Grandriver Apartment. And this time the sound was nothing like before — dozens of shots mixed with screams.
A full-scale war? I sprinted toward the apartment.
The closer I got, the louder the gunfire and screams became.
Some houses were already on fire, black smoke rising. Luckily it hadn’t rained hard enough to start a big blaze yet.
Even as the rain fell in a drizzle, men were shooting from the apartment windows and bullets were flying from the rooftops.
Plain as day, these were the Large Mart bastards. A few carried shotguns and pistols, the rest mostly crossbows and melee weapons.
The apartment’s main gate was already smashed open.
It looked like a small forklift had rammed into it. That thing was purely mechanical; maybe it could still move.
Grandriver was a pretty big complex, so the residents were spreading out in every direction, fighting hard.
Not clumped together — that was good. I could pick them off one by one.
Right in front of me a group was hiding near the wall. It felt like a military squad.
Six men. One had a pistol, the rest carried crossbows. They were using the apartment wall as cover while the pistol guy gave orders.
I slipped behind them and crept closer fast.
Once I was only tens of meters away they spotted me and shouted. I broke into a full sprint.
A crossbow bolt flew. A barrage aimed straight at me.
I focused and time slowed to a crawl.
Most of them wouldn’t even hit anyway. I dodged two bolts like they were nothing and kept running.
The pistol guy’s gun was pointed at me. I saw the bullet’s trajectory as it left the muzzle.
I twisted sideways and it grazed my shoulder by millimeters. The second bullet skimmed right past my eye.
This time a cut opened on my face and blood ran down.
I swung the jungle knife and chopped the pistol guy’s arm clean off.
“KRRAAAAAHHH!!”
The scream as his wrist was severed in one blow.
Then I rushed the rest at full speed and carved them apart one after another.
Neck slices, chest stabs, gut splits.
When a neck was cut the blood gushed out. When a lung was pierced a mouth full of blood came out. When a belly was split wide open the guts spilled and I grabbed them as the man collapsed.
I stepped on the spilled intestines with my foot and the man flailed with despairing eyes.
In seconds five of them lay dead.
The guy clutching his severed arm came over. I grabbed the pistol.
“You lot came from the Large Mart?”
“H-huh… w-who are you?”
“If you want to live, answer and hand over every bullet you have.”
“Y-yes… we came here to make the apartment people surrender… t-the bullets are right here… p-please spare me…”
In the next instant blood exploded from his neck. The neck really didn’t cut clean in one go.
Thirty rounds in total. Nice. I reloaded my revolver with two more bullets.
Six down in a blink. The others hadn’t even noticed.
I scanned the next target. A group of more than ten men was trying to enter the apartment entrance.
With a revolver now it would be even easier.
I sprinted full tilt. Faster. Faster than human speed.
The guy at the back turned and saw me. His eyes bulged and he screamed.
Time slowed to a crawl.
I aimed exactly between his eyes from ten meters away and pulled the trigger.
The bullet tore through the air and punched straight through his skull.
I immediately fired at the next one beside him, then the next, then the next.
They started shooting crossbows. I weaved sideways, dodged easily, and fired headshots one by one.
— BANG!
A shotgun guy opened fire. Nine pellets screamed toward me.
Body twisted, I dodged. One pellet skimmed my side. I put a round through the shotgun guy’s head instantly.
One pellet lodged in my side, but it was fine.
I fired all six rounds and the revolver’s chambers were empty.
I hid behind a nearby rock formation and reloaded.
Shocked that six headshots dropped in seconds, the survivors froze in panic.
“T-that rock formation over there! They’re hiding behind it!”
“They’ve used all their bullets! Someone go finish them!”
They were too scared to advance after they heard my voice.
I finished reloading all six rounds in seconds.
I hid behind cover just like them. They had done the same — hiding behind the apartment wall and inside the entrance.
If I couldn’t get a clear angle, I would force them into the open.
Three men huddled together near the pistol guy.
I charged straight at them in panic, crossbows and pistols blazing.
In the slowed time their shots went wide. Hitting a moving target was nearly impossible.
One bullet grazed my shoulder; I twisted and it barely missed.
I reached their side. They were completely exposed.
I fired three shots in a row.
The revolver’s rate of fire wasn’t high, but in that frozen moment they just screamed and stood there like statues.
All three fell to headshots. I hid behind cover again.
Next time I scanned for approaching men, most had already fled.
I only hit one more escaping. The rest were too far.
I picked up one more revolver and around twenty bullets.
I loaded both revolvers.
Instead of carrying both, I gripped one in my left hand and tucked the other at my waist.
I couldn’t shoot with my left hand anyway. But after firing six rounds I could instantly draw the second one, giving me twelve shots in a row.
That’s how they used them back when revolvers were the meta.
I started running toward the next target again.
