Post-Completion Note for Green Skin Part 1!
First of all, thank you all so much for trusting and following Green Skin until now. I'm truly sorry for using this Part 1 post-completion note as an excuse to take up an entire chapter. And to those who were excited, thinking it was a triple update, I'm also very sorry.
Just like with Matjip Fantasy, I wanted to celebrate in my own small way, even if it's just by myself, so I created this post-completion note section!
Actually, this is where I had planned for Part 1 to end. My goal was for the protagonist to run without rest, plant his flag after three years, and create a place he could protect.
There were a few things that deviated from the plan, but somehow, I managed to wrap it up well.
Before the end of Part 1, I really wanted to create some kind of confrontation between Najin and the deceased Park Hyeri, but the story felt like it was getting too long. So, I decided to leave it for Part 2. I received a lot of feedback that many readers were getting bored with the continuous battles against humans. I felt the same way, which is why I created this chapter.
I wanted to cover the long period of three years without skipping, but it's a shame that there were some parts that had to be skipped for the sake of plot progression.
So, just like with Matjip Fantasy, I've brought some questions that you might be curious about.
[ When does Part 2 begin? What is the main content of Part 2? ]
Just like with Matjip Fantasy, Part 2 will begin immediately. Part 2 will be released starting tomorrow. So, for anyone worried I might disappear, please rest assured. LOL.
To start, I don't plan to jump forward in time just because it's the beginning of Part 2. I will jump a little, but the story of the settlement being built is something I really want to write!
Please look forward to seeing how the Green Skins' haven is created.
[ Isn't the revenge motive a bit vague? ]
Honestly, I think this could be considered a mistake. I feel like if the Sword Saint had killed the protagonist more brutally, everyone would have empathized more, so if that's a mistake, then it is. I projected myself onto the protagonist. I have a somewhat petty side to my personality, so if something like that happened, I felt I would also seek revenge against the Sword Saint. The feeling of being betrayed by someone you trusted and admired, even a little – it might not be the right analogy, but I thought it would be even scarier if a fan turned into an anti-fan, so that's probably why I wrote it that way.
The mistake was directly showing more hatred for Choi Seulgi than for Shin Duk-ho, and this part might be revised later.
[ Choi Seulgi's sudden appearance in the middle ]
Actually, the scene where the protagonist parts ways with Choi Seulgi, which many of you so colorfully cursed, is my favorite scene. The scene where Choi Seulgi goes to the North with the Queen of the North is also a scene I really like.
Although... many people threatened to 'drop' the novel as soon as this scene appeared, and some even actually dropped it, even now, I don't regret writing that scene. T_T
I've read a lot of novels myself, and I generally know what kind of scenes readers enjoy. Growth and refreshing, satisfying developments. A plot where the protagonist shines and gains everything is truly enjoyable. Many people strongly disliked romance like a morning drama, but personally, I don't think this scene was romance.
If many people truly felt that way, then it must be due to my lack of writing skill. T_T The protagonist and Choi Seulgi didn't part ways crying, wailing, and shedding tears all over the place.
They both had clear objectives, and they merely separated for a short time to achieve those objectives. That's also why the protagonist, despite his obsession with Choi Seulgi, didn't follow her to the North.
Anyway, please keep an eye on Choi Seulgi from now on! And also her story with Han So-Hye, the Queen of the North!
[ Additionally, Abar becoming a heroine is not in the plans. T_T T_T T_T T_T I'm sorry. Instead, I will definitely introduce beast-folk! ]

If you have any more questions, I would be very grateful if you ask them. As I mentioned before, Green Skin will continue its endless development and evolution starting tomorrow.
In terms of time, it will likely be about a month later. It will probably be a scene where the settlement is just being built.
The only reason I was able to bring this novel this far is thanks to all the readers who enjoyed it. I might still be lacking in the future, but I'll do my best to avoid frustrating plot developments, so please don't get too angry and just enjoy it. I'd be grateful.
Thank you so much!
Lastly, recommendations, subscriptions, and comments are a great source of strength for the author!
I'll say it again: regular serialization resumes tomorrow!
