Athena, Goddess of Wisdom
Athena, Goddess of Wisdom.
In Greek mythology, she was the goddess of greatest importance after Zeus and Hera.
A goddess of war as well, she served within the Greek myths as the very standard of justice and morality.
Indeed, even within the story itself she was so versatile that she became entangled with countless gods, and those relationships ran deep and rich.
"I have been watching you all this time."
Any hero who heard those words from Athena would be unable to contain their emotion.
To be recognized by her was to gain the chance to rise as an outstanding hero whose renown would spread far and wide.
But not me.
I was afraid, rather.
Afraid she would see through to what lay inside me.
"Thank you."
"To slay a Cyclops single-handedly. That is a feat even Odysseus could not accomplish."
She exalted my achievement by comparing it to heroes of the past. Recognizing this as Athena's manner of speech, I simply bowed my head and remained silent.
"You flatter me."
That was all I said.
"No. I am sincerely impressed."
Words even a dog wouldn't believe…
But I didn't add anything further.
Flash!
The fierce gaze of the golden helmet forged by her mother, Metis, fixed upon me.
According to the prophecy, had she been born a son, she would have been a god surpassing Zeus…
Fortunately, in ancient Greece she had been a daughter, and so she had been severely nerfed.
Even so, it remained an unchanging fact that she was one of the most capable deities within Olympus.
There's no way that prophecy still holds.
The First Age of Heroes.
After the Trojan War, the Odyssey, and the life of Odysseus, nearly everything had been reset.
Those prophecies and destinies had lost their force and faded away in this present era — the Second Age of Heroes — just like that.
Even so, she was still a goddess of Olympus, and one of the most significant among them at that.
I must not let my guard down!
I continued to stand at attention.
There was just one thing, however.
"Unfortunately, I am bound to become Poseidon's hero."
When I said that, Athena raised one eyebrow.
"What do you mean?"
"And so, whatever Goddess Athena may desire of me, I ask that you understand my disloyalty in being unable to properly comply."
Alright, Athena.
If you've been watching me in Odysseia all this time, you should know.
Of course, you couldn't have seen everything…
Go on, then. Show me what's really on your mind.
"…Is this Poseidon's coercion?"
The tone with which she asked me back was not particularly bright.
Perhaps because she was the niece who stood in political opposition to Poseidon?
"I heard that you have been watching me. Did you, by chance, fail to observe me at Poseidon's temple?"
Athena answered that question.
"The influence I can exert in Odysseia is limited. Especially within the domains of the gods, my gaze is cut off."
The reason she could watch this much even in Poseidon's domain was likely because she was the mistress of owls.
They were creatures said to have the right to observe everything within the realms that governed human and divine society, day and night.
Of course, they were also symbols of wisdom and knowledge, but the reason they were so overrated in this other world was probably because of how frequently Athena appeared in the myths.
"I know that you come and go from Hestia's temple. You said you found safety in her embrace, did you not?"
Has she already heard that much from Zeus?
As expected, she is the most favored of his children.
"I also confirmed that before going to Poseidon's temple, you were frequenting some mysterious cabin."
Her gaze turned quietly upon me.
"Whose divine residence is that?"
She was subtly radiating her presence, pressuring me. I swallowed dryly.
"That is…"
Should I tell her?
The true master of that place?
After deep deliberation, I opened my mouth.
"…It is Hecate's cabin."
And I slowly raised my head.
Athena's face was one of surprise.
"Hecate is looking after you?"
As expected.
Even she is a goddess who cannot be treated lightly.
I newly understood just how much convenience Hecate had been granting me.
No — is it because she's fallen for me?
That cute goddess who blushes at the drop of a hat is a goddess even Athena respects.
That gap is something I still can't quite get used to.
"Yes."
In any case, I answered as if satisfied.
Athena seemed to sink into deep thought.
"Hecate looks after you, yet Poseidon has his sights on you…"
"In order to defeat the Cyclops, I had no choice but to swear an oath."
"Then the essence you harvested from that eye was a request from Hecate, I take it."
"That is correct."
She seemed to be roughly understanding the entire situation. As expected of the Goddess of Wisdom.
"And also…"
I quietly knelt on the floor just like that. Still with my head bowed before her, I begged Athena as if making a request.
"Ares and Dionysus also appeared in person and showed their faces."
I heard Athena's sigh.
I raised my head to check her reaction.
As expected, her expression was troubled.
"What a troublesome child you are. To beguile so many gods and stir up conflict among them."
Right.
It would be awkward for her to covet me right now.
But she already has her eye on me.
According to tradition, Athena is tenacious.
She never forgives those who insult her, and those she blesses and grants her favor to, she treats well to the very end.
Arachne was like that, and so was Odysseus.
Up until now, at least as far as I know, the myths and traditions have been that way.
And so I believe it.
"I shall have to think on this for now."
So it won't work after all?
Even Athena herself seemed unable to produce a method to untangle my thoroughly knotted situation.
"For now, what do you intend to do?"
"I will have to return to Odysseia."
Right. I had already guessed as much.
So it was time to move to the next step.
"I did not swear upon the River Styx, but an oath is still an oath."
"Wait."
Athena suddenly paused at my words.
The emotion she subtly revealed seemed plain to see.
"You did not swear upon the River Styx?"
Got her.
I smiled inwardly.
No matter how sharply the owl perched on her helmet and shoulder glared at me, with my head bowed she wouldn't be able to see my expression.
I was suppressing even my body's reactions, all the more so.
"Yes, yes, that is so, but?"
I slowly raised my head. But I wore a puzzled expression.
Looking at me like that, Athena seemed all the more certain.
"If you did not swear upon the River Styx, then it can be broken readily enough."
That bastard Poseidon.
He knew this and deliberately avoided mentioning it.
So he could monopolize me completely.
As expected, every last one of those Olympian god bastards has rotten character.
"But I am a human. I cannot dare to break a request from the gods."
Right. Even if I did break it, if those character-wrecked gods brought down divine punishment, I would have no choice but to take it.
That is what it means to be human in this ancient Greece.
Before the gods, one can only be infinitely powerless.
"I shall help you."
Unless another god helps, that is.
"I shall free you from his grasp."
"R-Really?"
Athena nodded at my face, which was filled with joy.
"I have a prior record of defeating Poseidon over Athens. This time as well, I shall achieve victory for your sake."
I sincerely clasped my hands together and bowed my head.
Whatever my true intentions, I had no choice but to express gratitude for her mercy.
"Truly…! I am truly grateful!"
I bowed repeatedly, presenting the appearance of one about to swear loyalty to her.
"However."
I flinched at Athena's continuing words.
"I will ask just one thing."
"Yes! Please ask me anything!"
"About Hestia's divine relic."
Ah.
Here it comes.
"By what means exactly did you obtain it?"
This is critical.
One wrong word and it's over.
I swallowed dryly.
"That is…"
Sorry, Alcyone.
Forgive your hyung for selling you out while you're training hard under Chiron right now.
"I discovered among those at Hestia's temple a great one who could lead the next generation of heroes. I received it for that achievement."
Athena's face was one of interest.
"A hero of the next generation?"
"He was an outstanding child even among the orphans. I raised him, sent him to Chiron, and elevated Lady Hestia's renown."
I bowed my head once more.
"I possess this because I temporarily obtained the authority to borrow it as compensation for that."
"I see."
Athena nodded.
"Then follow me. I shall personally tell Poseidon of that achievement of yours as well."
Athena gestured for me to follow.
"I shall guide you. As a hero among heroes. Lord Zeus will also be pleased with one such as you."
Ha…
I knew it would come to this.
Even the great Athena cannot ultimately go against Zeus.
Zeus has set his sights on you.
Probability of Zeus descending upon you: 23.8%
The probability is rising.
This is a poisoned chalice.
Following her means, in the end, leaping into Zeus's maw.
Even if I escape Poseidon's grasp for now, the result will be that I become Zeus's male sex slave once again.
Right.
That's why I'm going after her.
Clack!
At this very moment.
"What?"
Athena turned her body.
Befitting the Goddess of War, she hastily equipped her combat armaments.
But all along, up until now, I had been waiting.
Only for this moment.

The passive skills poured out all at once.
But that wasn't everything.
The blessing I received from Hecate.
"Bind!"
I shouted.
My first active skill.
✦ BLESSING ✦
⟨ Hecate's Secret ⟩
Temporarily restrains the target.
Clatter-rattle-rattle!
Magical ropes bound Athena's entire body. The ropes cinched tight beneath her full underbust that looked ready to burst, forcing both arms up and restraining her so that she dropped her weapon and shield.
"What is this…!"
She still hadn't properly reacted.
This was my chance.
Whoosh!
I brought Athena down.
I mounted on top of her.
My grip strength had grown strong enough that I wouldn't let go even of her thrashing form.
Currently, Athena was in a descended state.
A place where the gazes of Zeus and Poseidon did not reach.
Neighhh!
The chariot horses cried out.
They thrashed wildly.
But they could not approach me.
"Come any closer."
Because I had pressed Hestia's divine relic against Athena's neck.
"And I kill her."
Had they sensed my murderous intent?
They backed off.
"Hah, hah…"
I looked down at Athena as I gasped for breath, watching her twist her body this way and that, her bursting breasts swaying.
"Goddess."
I smiled faintly and drove the divine relic into the ground.
Instead, I drew the sword I had purchased from Ares.
"This is what I desire of you."
"Y-You bastard! What in the world are you doing! How dare you to a goddess like me!"
I smiled coldly.
"I."
And I spoke.
At last, my true intentions.
"Want your virginity."
With that single phrase.
Riiip!!
I tore away the cloth covering her breasts.
Sway.
At last.
One of the two virgin goddesses representing the children's generation of Olympus.

Athena, Goddess of Wisdom.
Her lightly tanned breasts were revealed before my eyes.
