Arrival at Mekelo and Dividing the Spoils
The mega-city of Mekelo on the 6th floor. They had finally arrived at the colossal city at the entrance to the 6th floor. After a brief inspection at the gates, they entered the city, and a completely new landscape unfolded before them.
"Whoa!!" Lee Guho let out a pure exclamation of awe, and the rest of the party felt the same. A pristine six-lane avenue stretched endlessly ahead from the gates, flanked on both sides by vast, impressive fields of rice paddies and farmland that seemed to go on forever.
"......" Overwhelmed by the enormous scale of the fields, the party stood silently taking it in for a while. Then Min Giyoung, who had joined them recently, spoke up.
"Mekelo is an agricultural city blessed by the goddess. It produces food on a massive scale."
The group watched the unique sight a bit longer, until Namgung Seojun finally said, "Let's move."
Fortunately, there was a temple and an official temple shop right next to the city entrance. The party headed inside to settle their accounts first.
"Merit Points: 120."
The 120 Merit Points were divided among the party members as usual.
"Spoils of war: a total of 3 gold."
They received the gold coins, set aside 1 gold for the party fund, and divided the rest according to their agreed shares. After finishing the settlement, they left the shop, and a young man standing nearby approached them.
"Welcome to Mekelo, adventurers. Shall I take you to the commercial district by carriage?"
At the sudden solicitation, the party naturally tried to ignore him, but he confidently pointed to the badge on his chest.
"I'm a coachman certified by the temple. So I don't lie."
At the mention of temple certification, the party's attention snapped back to him. He continued boldly.
"Mekelo is a mega-city. Walking from here through the agricultural district to the commercial district takes over 4 hours. So, hop on the carriage. Seven of you? Just 14 silver to get you there."
In a world where gods existed, in a city ruled by a god, forgery was unthinkable. With the temple-certified badge, the coachman earned the party's trust. The members glanced at their leader, Seojun, their faces thoughtful, and his Super Sense gave him a good feeling.
"All right. We'll take it."
"Wise choice. Plenty of adventurers regret walking to save a few coins."
He led them to his carriage. Clack-clack-clack... The two-horse carriage set off down the avenue with a cheerful rhythm.
Namgung Seojun's party barely squeezed into the cramped carriage.
Snore... Snore...
Snooore... Snooore...
The tired party members fell asleep in less than 10 minutes. With accumulated fatigue and tension released, they drifted off naturally. Seojun, bound by his sense of responsibility as leader, stayed awake. He chatted with the coachman as they rode.
"Mekelo farms a ridiculously vast area."
"That's right. Wheat fields to the left of the road, rice paddies to the right. The goddess blessed this land, and countless adventurers and residents expanded the city. Now it produces 40% of the food used within the first 20 floors—a true mega-city."
The coachman went on enthusiastically about Mekelo in response to Seojun's questions. While listening, Seojun briefly checked each party member's Status Window with God's Eye.
Everyone's grown well.
Gisohee, Lee Guho, Jo Jaehun, and Kim Hoon had all reached level 12. Yuki had climbed to 11.
And their level 10 skills are solid too.
Everyone had acquired satisfactory skills upon hitting level 10. Gisohee was fortunate to get another archer-related skill: the Rare skill Rapid Fire (P), which increased her bow-firing speed. Frequent magic use had leveled up Lee Guho's basic Mana Circuit (P) into the superior Intermediate Mana Circuit (P)Rare skill. Jo Jaehun earned a self-buff from his guarding with shield techniques: Tenacity (A), which temporarily boosted stamina and defense for 5 minutes—a very useful buff. Kim Hoon got a utility skill fitting any class: the Normal-grade Willpower (P), which enhanced endurance in any task. The biggest stroke of luck at level 10 went to Yuki, who gained Faith (P), a Rare skill amplifying holy power. It didn't shine much yet with only buffs in her arsenal, but it was excellent long-term for a priestess.
The level 10 skills were great, but some had even awakened traits. Jo Jaehun gained Basic Accounting from handling the party ledger. Seojun was still at level 18, but he'd acquired something too.
Ha, never thought I'd awaken a skill like this.
A unfamiliar technique had appeared in his Status Window: Sexual Technique (P). It must have come from knocking out so many women with his Super Sense.
Lost in such thoughts, Seojun realized they'd arrived at the commercial district.
"Everyone, off the carriage."
At the coachman's call, Seojun woke the sleeping party and they disembarked. He led the still-groggy group into a nearby temple-certified inn.
"Seven rooms, please."
The counter staff took 70 silver and handed over seven keys. Seojun distributed them one by one.
"You all look beat from the late hour, so rest up. Hungry ones eat at the restaurant; tired ones crash in your rooms. We'll meet back here for lunch tomorrow."
"Got it."
They dispersed to their rooms. As Seojun headed to his, someone grabbed his arm.
"You have to come with me, right?"
Gisohee stood behind him with a sly smile. The moment they entered the room and shut the door, it began.
Mm... Smack...
A passionate kiss first—they locked lips before even washing. Seojun led her to the bed, but she pulled away breathlessly.
"Seojun, let's wash first. I'm sweaty..."
Gisohee tried to say more, but his mouth silenced her, and he laid her down regardless.
"Mmph... Mmph!"
As her clothes came off, a faint tangy scent hit Seojun's nose. He buried it in her armpit.
"Pl-please!"
She pleaded with a humiliated expression. "Seojun, please wash first..."
But his hands didn't stop, stripping off her panties. He toyed with her folds.
"Ah! Hnng... Ah! Hah..."
His fingers invaded her clit and entrance relentlessly. Then he pulled them out and sniffed.
"Ah!! Please..."
The musky mix of arousal and sweat... Seojun loved her embarrassed face even more.
"Smells good to me."
"Please... Seojun... Please..."
Her face flushed crimson. Her reaction made his cock throb harder. Unable to hold back, he pressed it to her entrance.
Squelch... Plunge.
"Ah!!"
Even after dozens of times, the massive intrusion still overwhelmed her. But now she felt pleasure too.
"Seojun! Seojun!"
Each call of his name spurred his hips.
Squelch... Squelch...
"Haahk... Seojun! Seojun!!"
Today too, Gisohee moaned in ecstasy, utterly conquered by Seojun.
The next day, Namgung Seojun came down to the restaurant with Gisohee for a late breakfast. Jo Jaehun was there, enjoying coffee after his meal.
"Leader, here for breakfast?"
"Yeah."
Jo Jaehun glanced at the weary Seojun and glowing Gisohee, tossing a light joke. "Leader, you look exhausted."
"Ah... Yeah..."
He teased Gisohee too. "Make sure to nourish him properly while he's working hard."
"Hohoho. That'd be sexual harassment back on Earth, you know?"
Jo Jaehun replied "Sorry" with a grin, and they all laughed it off as a joke.
After their late breakfast, the two lingered over tea, waiting for the others. Soon, the full party gathered.
"Meeting will be short and sweet."
Seojun got to the point. "You've all worked hard these past four weeks, barely resting. How about a longer break here? A full week of relaxation?"
Everyone agreed. With rest settled, Min Giyoung stood first, saying he had people to meet, and left. The remaining members naturally transitioned to their second meeting.
"Time for the additional settlement."
At Seojun's words, Jo Jaehun pulled items from a small pouch at his waist.
Gargoyle gem: spoils from the linked quest, a gem with significant magical value.
They'd been advised to sell it in a major city at a temple shop, so they still had it.
Random Rare skillbook: another linked quest reward. Too valuable to sell for cash; they planned to trade it for equivalent items later.
Rare-grade dagger: from an orc chieftain during a hunt. Boosted strength and agility by 1 each.
Rare-grade belt: a lucky find. Bought with party funds in a 4th-floor small city; halved the weight of equipped items.
Merit Point coupons: small ones given when selling at temple shops. Seojun had collected them, totaling about 320 Merit Points.
Mysterious black stone: spat out by a mimic. Unidentified item; temple said confirming it cost 1000 Merit Points, so they'd held off.
After the linked quests, they'd agreed: for ambiguous items, collect six and distribute one each. Too good to sell cheap in a rush.
Facing the six items, the party's expressions mixed pride, hesitation, and greed. Seojun encouraged honesty.
"We'll divide them by consensus."
He handed out slips of paper. "Write down one item you want, carefully. You'll get it, but if there's overlap, we'll consider contributions. Pick something others might yield."
After some glances, they wrote. Seojun reviewed.
"'Random Rare skillbook'—two picks: Yuki and Guho."
Lee Guho looked awkward; Yuki disappointed. Excluding Seojun, Guho's DPS contributions were undeniably highest.
"This goes to Guho."
The others nodded; Guho took it, glancing at Yuki.
"Gargoyle gem: Jo Jaehun."
Best for cash, so his pick.
"Gisohee: Rare-grade dagger. Kim Hoon: Rare-grade belt."
Agility-boosting dagger for the archer; weight-reduction belt for the porter—perfect fits.
"Finally, the black stone: me. I'll take it."
Seojun chose the 1000-Merit unidentified gamble. Naturally, his Super Sense urged him. The party thought, Ah, shoulda known. Unidentified items were gambles—only appraisal revealed value. Seojun's instincts made it seem like a jackpot.
"Remaining Merit Point coupons to Yuki."
Pushed aside earlier, Yuki got the 320-Merit coupons.
And so the additional settlement ended.
