The news that Li Zhangwei from Pirate Island was an Apostle of the Gods spread quickly, and the group was escorted to the home of the village leader, the High Priestess—the highest-ranking figure in the village.
"An Apostle of the Gods has graced us with a visit. Welcome."
The High Priestess exchanged greetings with Li Zhangwei, who then introduced the rest of the group.
"This is the leader of our party. Namgung Seojun is a candidate for Apostle of the Main God."
The High Priestess bowed politely, and Seojun returned the gesture with equal formality.
"This is Pharos, a temporary party member carrying out a mission for the Main God."
Pharos also exchanged greetings with the High Priestess. The other party members followed suit.
The High Priestess felt relieved that no one outside the Main God's followers was present. Once the introductions were done, she offered the group a meal.

"Haha, it's quite modest, isn't it?"
The meal provided by the High Priestess consisted only of a few fish, breadfruit, and coconut dishes.

The village had the High Priestess and a few high-level adventurers who were followers of the Nameless God, preventing direct attacks on the village itself, but their activities were heavily restricted.
For Arhof Village to grow, change was needed.

The High Priestess immediately made her request.

The quest's scope was far larger than anyone had imagined. It appeared simultaneously for the party, the captain, and the crew. As a result, Namgung Seojun's party and the crew gathered back on the ship for a meeting.
"We've received a quest proposal. But it looks like it'll take quite a bit of time. What do you all think?"
"Heh heh heh... Well, now."
Captain Kang Inho just chuckled in amazement. He'd spent nearly 30 years sailing the 30th floor seas, gaining all sorts of experience, but quests from gods were rare—only a handful in his lifetime. Yet with this party, he'd received two in less than a year.
The crew shared his surprise, but Namgung Seojun's party members remained unfazed. To them, quests were just occasional events.

Captain Kang Inho spoke first on behalf of his men. With his and the crew's agreement secured, it was time for the regular party members' input.
"Can I make the call on this one too?"
The existing members nodded without hesitation. But Leto, who had recently joined, spoke up.
"This quest... isn't it dangerous? We have to wipe out the pirate island?"
Despite his concern, the others still backed Seojun's judgment.
"Hyungnim always makes the perfect choice. That's why we trust him."
"Leto, you still don't trust Seojun? Give it a shot."
"I trust Master."
Even Pharos nodded with a smile. In the end, Leto decided to trust Seojun as well. With that, a message appeared in everyone's status window:
You have accepted the quest.
Though it would take time, the group resolved to undertake the quest. With their agreement, Namgung Seojun disembarked and returned to the High Priestess.
"Our group has decided to accept the quest."

She then introduced people she had prepared in advance.

The High Priestess had assembled the guard captain responsible for village security and two high-level users.
Im Hoyoung, currently Arhof Village's guard captain at level 53 with a Rare dual warrior class. His talents were solid, and with holy attack skills, he promised versatile combat utility.
Gwak Gyejo, a level 46 archer limited by his talents but equipped with three Rare attack skills like Multi-Shot, making him a solid immediate firepower dealer.
Minami Sato, a level 42 thief. A well-rounded adventurer overall, with a Unique dagger skill that made her effective as a rear attacker.
The three bowed respectfully to Namgung Seojun.
"We look forward to working with you."
Three veteran adventurers had temporarily joined the party. With the quest confirmed and temporary members added, Namgung Seojun called the regular members and Captain Kang Inho for a strategy meeting.
Kang Inho pulled out a map.
"Let me explain using the map. The pirates' base is about an hour from our island."
A pirate band had settled on an island of similar size not far away. Guard Captain Im Hoyoung added some intel.
"The distance is close, but attacking it is tough. The island's terrain makes it hard for ships to dock on the shore. The pirates use ropes to climb up and down."
Assaulting the pirate island directly wasn't viable.
"Then sea battle victory is our only option."
Im Hoyoung provided more details.
"Even in naval combat, we'd face multiple pirate ships. They have over 20 medium combat vessels alone, about 10 small ones, and over 50 including non-combat ships. Plus around 5,000 pirates."
It was a massive force. Yet the party members looked only to Seojun, who spoke simply.
"We'll still win."
"If hyungnim says so, it's possible!"
"I trust you this time too, Seojun!"
"Reminds me of the Gordon fleet battle. They outnumbered us, but we took zero losses."
The three from Arhof and Leto from the 35th floor felt some worry, but they chose to trust and follow Namgung Seojun, the Main God's Apostle candidate.

To the captain's question, Seojun hit the key point.
"Fortunately, the pirates don't land and attack the village."

"Yes sir!"
The two began mentally planning the modifications.

As a village of Nameless God followers, it had not just fighters but many production specialists. The shipyard boasted three technicians skilled in shipbuilding and repair, enabling efficient refits.
"Reduced food storage for one more mana cannon."
"Reinforced hull armor with iron plating for better defense."
"Enlarged sails for speed."
"Prepped deck sections for boarding actions."
Reduced provisions shortened sailing range, but every aspect was optimized for combat.
"When will it be done?"
"As fast as possible!"
Kang Inho and the crew poured everything into combat prep with the technicians.
Five days later, with the refitted Prokho ready, Namgung Seojun gathered the party.
"Preparations complete. Let's go wipe out some pirates starting today."

He boarded with Guard Captain Im Hoyoung, Gwak Gyejo, and Minami Sato instead of non-combatants like Garyunmi the water producer, and elders Park Eunhye and Shin Miyun.
