My First Date with Yupi (2)
Before I knew it, the sun had set and night had fallen.
The moment we stepped out of the theater, the cool night air hit us head-on.
The wind cooled down our bodies, flushed and sweating from the heater, and in that instant all the stuffiness of the past few hours melted away.
“How was the movie, big sis?”
“It was lovely. Thank you for watching it with me.”
After buying the clothes, we'd spent the whole day on a hastily thrown-together date course.
The one leading, of course, was Yupi.
Having lived on Dilmun for so long, she guided me to recommended restaurants, tourist spots, and everywhere in between.
And to wrap things up, we'd watched a tender-hearted romance film at the cinema.
“W-well, I just got so carried away... I hope I wasn't the only one getting excited...”
“How could that possibly be? I had a wonderful time too.”
The places never described in detail in the web novel, the hidden sights you could never know about without visiting in person.
Had it not been for Yupi, they were things I never would have experienced in my life.
“Have some confidence. Thanks to you, big sis, I saw and learned so much today.”
I thrust out a thumb and showered her with praise without reservation.
Yupi covered her face with her hands, struggling to hide her flustered expression.
It's working.
A fact I'd learned wandering the island with her: Yupi was weak to compliments.
They say flattery will get you anywhere—even a whale will dance for it—but too much of it is poison, as the saying goes.
Pile it on too thick just to win someone over, and they see right through you—that was the usual way to get chewed out.
Normally I'd restrain myself from this kind of over-the-top flattery, but Yupi took even the most transparent praise to heart, so I was deliberately burying her in it.
Whether it was because everything a lover says makes her happy, or simply the nature of someone so conscious of how others saw her, I couldn't tell.
What mattered was that now I knew how to act when I was with her.
“Today feels like a day I'll never forget for the rest of my life. Thank you, big sis.”
“Uuu, that's quite enough of that.”
So I kept praising her.
I sang her praises until my mouth wore out, to the point that anyone watching would've called it pathetic groveling.
“In any case, it's been a long day. Let's head back now.”
Our arms were loaded down with shopping bags—we'd swept through the department store ages ago, buying everything in sight.
It was late, and the shops were closing one by one.
Staying any longer would've meant nothing more than walking the darkened streets.
I was preparing to part ways with Yupi when—
“H-hey, um!”
“Hmm? What is it?”
“Well, you see, it's just...”
Yupi timidly grabbed my sleeve.
I gave it a gentle tug, but she showed no sign of letting go.
Instead, her grip tightened, holding me in place.
She doesn't want to say goodbye?
Yupi still looked like the day's warmth hadn't faded from her yet.
Her trembling mouth opened and closed, over and over—clearly she had something she wanted to say, but the words wouldn't leave her lips.
Is there anywhere else to go around here?
I was willing to stay with her if that was what she wanted.
But where, exactly?
Most of the shops had already closed their doors, and the only things still open were bars.
From what I knew of the original story, Yupi hated alcohol so much that the mere word made her convulse.
Dragging her to a tavern would do nothing but backfire.
I'll just wait for her answer, then.
In the end, there was nothing to do but hear it from her own mouth.
I looked down at the fidgeting Yupi, resolving to wait until she found her voice, when—
“Huh?”
A chat window had suddenly popped up, speaking to me.
A tone completely different from the Writer, who normally addressed me politely.
This bastard...
Don't tell me—the guy who goaded me into touching Yupi down at the docks?
An unknown figure.
Given the circumstances, no one else came to mind.
As far as I knew, only two people could reach me through this system window: the Writer and this guy.
“Hey, Writer.”
I murmured her name under my breath, but got nothing but silence.
This bastard's been ignoring me since yesterday—what the hell is he up to?
Come to think of it, whenever this guy showed up, the Writer had been unable to establish a connection with me.
This guy is out of his damn mind.
Granted, the Writer was also a lunatic—tossing garbage-tier comments straight into another world, with a talent for handling people that was truly first-rate—but this one was a whole other breed of bizarre.
He'd hijack the system window out of nowhere only to squawk at me like a parrot, go have sex with Yupi, over and over.
Should I listen to this guy, or not?
Everything out of his mouth was vulgar beyond belief, but I did owe him a debt of gratitude.
Thanks to him, I was dating Yupi, after all.
Whether I trusted him was a different matter entirely.
Should I really be taking orders from someone whose identity I don't even know?
The Writer had sent me here to change this world's ending—the outcome where Chloe and Eva end up together.
She offered advice and actively helped me drive a wedge between the two of them.
She had an agenda, a reason to egg me on—but this guy's motive? I couldn't begin to guess.
What, does he get stronger every time I have sex or something?
Whichever way you sliced it, it sounded exactly like a cult leader trying to recruit a believer.
All the more reason to be suspicious, really.
Maybe I'll probe a little and see if he's actually right.
“Yupi.”
I called her name.
Yupi's downcast eyes lifted until they met mine.
I rested a hand lightly on her shoulder, slid my other arm around her waist, and drew her toward me—slowly, carefully, so as not to startle her.
“Ah.”
Her eyes wavered. She'd caught my intent, and she lifted her face toward me.
Our lips brushed.
Softly. Briefly.
Then we pressed together once more.
“Mmm... hah...”
Deep, and long.
The tip of my tongue slipped in and stirred through the warmth of her mouth.
Chup, chuuup.
Our mingled saliva left a slick, lewd sound between us.
“Nngh... chup!Chap!”
Yupi's breathing grew ragged.
Short, gasping little breaths.
Tongues tangled, lips suckled, and a hot heat spread between us.
A sticky, sweet taste flooded my mouth.
“Haaah...”
When our lips finally parted, Yupi gazed at me through half-lidded eyes.
Out of breath, her chest rose and fell.
“Haa...”
She ran the tip of her tongue along her lower lip.
As if savoring the lingering taste of my tongue.
Her cheeks burned red, and her golden eyes glistened, moist and bright.
“You're... a good kisser.”
“Thank you for saying so.”
Well, I was the experienced one here, so compared to men who'd never done it, sure—I was skilled.
Not that I was about to say that out loud.
I knew perfectly well there was nothing more oblivious than bringing up other partners while dating someone.
“Will... will you keep going? What comes next?”
“That's...”
Yupi hesitated.
Her gaze darted nervously from side to side, like someone trembling on the edge of a precipice—then, at last, she looked me dead in the eye.
“What about you?”
“That kiss just now was my answer.”
“Then I...”
We had confirmed each other's feelings.
There was nothing left to hold back.
We went beyond holding hands—arms linked, we headed to a destination that hadn't been on today's itinerary.
“Let's go this way.”
“I had no idea a place like this had a love hotel.”
Yupi guided me toward an old building draped in garish neon signs.
Completely unaware this building even existed, I could only stare, eyes wide.
There was not a single man on this island besides me.
A love hotel could never turn a profit here, and it had never once been described in the novel—no wonder I was dumbfounded.
“According to the Headmaster, men used to live on this island too. But once Purity Academy was founded, they all left.”
Something that wasn't even in the setting notes.
As a devoted reader, my curiosity was piqued—but an irrepressible hunger shoved my questions aside and urged my feet to move faster.
Contrary to its shabby exterior, the interior was neat and immaculately kept.
Yupi pressed her card against a vending machine–style kiosk, and a room key slid out.
Room 302. Clutching the numbered key, she headed for the corresponding door.
She inserted the key and turned it.
Click!
The moment the door opened, soft, dim lighting washed over the room.
Pink wallpaper. A round bed.
A sweet scent drifted through the air, and a shower stall stood visible along one wall.
Cozy. Secluded.
No one else was here.
“Yupi.”
The instant the door shut behind us, I turned her around to face me.
There was nothing left to say.
My hand dove into the front of her chest.
“S-Solis!”
Yupi flinched in alarm, but I ignored her protest and pushed my hand deeper into her clothes.
Past the knit sweater, parting the bikini armor beneath it, I kneaded the soft, springy flesh covered by her leotard.
“Nnh... ah...”
Yupi trembled faintly.
But she didn't run.
If anything, she pressed herself deeper into my embrace.
My other hand traveled up the inside of her thigh, slipping under her skirt, brushing against her crotch.
She was already soaked, her arousal slick and dripping.
Watching a thin strand of it stretch and hang, she gave me a shy look.
“You're embarrassing me.”
I pushed her back toward the bed.
Yupi retreated until her body sank into the mattress, and I climbed over her, bracing myself above her.
“May I?”
There was no turning back now.
I asked for permission, and a smile spread across her lips.
“Do as you please.”
