A figure from three hundred years ago. After the Jang family manor was exterminated, he secluded himself for nine years to cultivate his martial arts, obtained a fateful encounter, and reemerged into the murim.
Beginning with the Dark Sky Blood Massacre, over three months he annihilated three great families—including the Seomun family—and five sects. In this process, he slew the Qingcheng elder Drunk Sword User, earning designation as the ninth public enemy of murim in fifty years.
Subsequent activities as follows:
Public Enemy Year 1: Slaughtered a Wudang elder and decapitated the corpse.
Public Enemy Year 2: Massacred every warrior of the Namgung and Hwangbo clans; hurled the Heavenly Blade Lord's right hand at the front gate of the Murim Alliance's Anhui branch.
Public Enemy Year 3: Captured by the Eighteen Arhats and imprisoned in Shaolin's deepest prison, Geumroe-ok, but after half a year created the signature technique Black Arrow and shattered Geumroe-ok to escape.
Public Enemy Year 4: Declared himself the supreme under heaven and unleashed the Hubei Blood Tribulation, slaying the Namgung family head and Hwangbo family head.
Public Enemy Year 5: Encountered Granddaughter of the Cheon family manor head Cheon Yomyeong leading the New Generation Fifty Heroes in Amyeong Valley. Butchered two Transformation Realm experts and twenty super first-rate masters before being subdued by Cheon Yomyeong.
Captured by the ancient and modern supreme hero, Divine Heavenly Hero Cheon Yomyeong, then escorted to the Murim Alliance along with his demon sword Heuk-yo. Whereabouts thereafter unknown.
The construction timeline of the Cheon Family Manor's underground secret chamber closely matches the date of Jang Cheon's escort to the Murim Alliance, leading to rumors in the streets at the time that Jang Cheon was imprisoned in the Cheon Family Manor's secret chamber.
Special notes: Records exist of rumors that he attained indestructible diamond body, impossible to kill even by stabbing the heart. During imprisonment in Geumroe-ok, described as obtaining sealed ancient alchemy to reach the realm of eternal life without death.
