Debut (Part 1)
Ki Uyeon's little incident wrapped up smoothly, and the reality show filming continued without a hitch. We moved out of the hotel into a local guesthouse run by residents, capturing moments of bonding with the locals, shopping trips where we treated them to home-cooked meals, and all sorts of candid shots for the cameras.
With our reality footage stacked high, we finally headed back home. It was a huge relief that no other accidents happened and everything went off without a snag. The company got the wake-up call too—they're planning to beef up our security detail on their own dime.
Good news for my members, at least.
One overseas trip later, and debut day was suddenly right around the corner. Our debut date got locked in, stage outfits arrived, hair got restyled to fit the concept, and the schedule just kept piling up.
Online, interest in Honey Enter's new boy group was heating up now that our faces were out there. The company was pushing promo hard, but the idol galleries were buzzing too—calling us the best visuals in ages, reactions were solid.
"They say it's all thanks to hyung's face."
"Guess idols really are all about visuals, huh."
"Jun's got a ton of fans now too."
"Jealous!!!! Jun!!!"
"Nah, Haesol hyung's the real explosion."
"Company was snapping face pics non-stop for a reason."
The company really milked those endless photo shoots for all they were worth. They flooded the net with shots every other day, like they were gunning for every hot topic out there. Reporters had plenty of variety to pull from instead of recycling the same old pics. And with makeup and edits making the other members' flawless faces pop, it all worked out perfectly.
"Practice, practice!!"
With the showcase looming, the pressure was mounting. The company's aggressive visual-group push had everyone on edge. Apparently, they could go all-in on the looks angle because of me—without a real-life letdown risk, they swung for the fences on promo.
So the guys juggled perfecting their faces, vocals, and dance—total chaos. Practice, practice, practice. We squeezed every minute out of 24 hours, with rare breaks feeling like a hamster wheel.
Time to spend some coins, maybe.
I'd jotted down Poni's recommendations and mulled them over endlessly. Coins for me, or stuff for Jua noona. They're not easy to farm, so every purchase needed serious thought.
And I picked these.
First up for Jua noona:
◈ Crafted for expectant mothers—manages physical condition through childbirth.
◈ Minimizes pregnancy symptoms, postpartum issues, and ensures a healthy, curse-free baby.
I bought it on sight. It's called an amulet, but it's a slim, pretty bracelet—nothing bulky or embarrassing. Designed for 24/7 wear, perfect.
1,500 coins for the Health Prayer Amulet (Pregnant Women Edition). Leftover 500 got me a ring.
500-coin ring. Not some OP equip, sure. But why drop that much?
It's a straight-up diamond ring.
Platinum-set 3-carat stunner, surrounded by tiny diamonds—peak bling.
Shop said it'd run at least 50 million won here.
My account? Barely 20 million pre-debut. No wedding yet, but I needed something to prove my heart's in it forever. Coins are worth a fortune—no exchange rate even covers this tier. 500 coins scored a ring I'd never touch otherwise.
Can't wait to give it to Jua noona.
She'll love it. It's also my apology for not being around much during her pregnancy.
The last 1,000 coins? For debut survival.
◈ Stores excess stamina for later use—withdraw when exhausted.
◈ Transferable to others. Perfect for sharing during grueling schedules.
Stores my stamina like a battery—pull it out when drained. Overflow? Bank it for later. Wild. Best part: shareable with others.
Hand out bits when the members crash.
Idol success is a team thing—better we all shine.
Me solo-stamina-raging? Nah, sharing lets them rest easy.
Issue: post-purchase, no surplus stamina. Practices left me wiped. But it's not useless—I scraped together bits daily. Saving for debut day.
"Debut's really happening."
Ahyun grabbed my hand, all emotional.
"Heard the dedicated team busted ass for us. Thanks."
"I just followed orders, hehe. But seriously, it's a miracle. Pre-debut hype like this? Rare as hell."
"Pressure's at 100% thanks to you."
"You'll crush it. You've earned it."
"Thanks for the cheer."
*Smack!*
*Mwah, smack, mwah!*
Rare alone time with Ahyun. After catching up, lips met.
"Hot! Not here—it's the company!"
She flinched extra-sensitive post-Boksun noona drama. Any overstep at work set her off.
"No one's around."
"Someone might see. Gotta be careful—debut's too close for screw-ups."
"Fine."
I knew it was for me, so I shelved the urge.
Thud!
"Gasp!"
"!!"
*Screech—*
The warehouse door we were chilling in swung open—someone barged in.
"Thought I heard squeaking rats. Hiding here, huh?"
"Rose Trainer!"
"Sensei?"
Spot we'd used for my secret Boksun noona hookup. She must've remembered.
"How'd you know we were here?"
"Woman's intuition?"
"Stalker!! Why're you here?! Don't interrupt!"
Ahyun bristled like a feral cat. Cute, but pointless—like a pup yapping at a tiger.
Boksun noona just crossed her arms, chill as ever.
"You rent Haesol out exclusive? I got rights too."
"You didn't schedule him."
"Did too."
"What?!"
Ahyun shot me a betrayed glare. I grabbed Boksun noona's shoulder.
"Don't lie to Ahyun. She'll believe it. Quit teasing—how'd you really know?"
"Tch, no fun. Came for vocal advice from your Jun—heard about you from him, thought I'd drop by. But hit me up! When Lee Ahyun's MIA too? Obvious."
Main vocal Kang Jun hitting her up for tips? Made sense. Everyone was grinding hard under debut stress.
"Shouldn't you train Jun?"
"He's solid. Needs confidence and stage reps now. Told him fix dance instead. But weakest link's off flirting with girls?"
Sleeping with women boosts my skills!
Couldn't say that—coughed slyly instead.
"Here for stage prep help too."
"Lee Ahyun helps you?"
"Obviously."
"For real?!"
...Don't freak like that! Ahyun, all wide-eyed rumors-true vibes, latched onto my arm. Pink hair, big doe eyes staring up—pure bunny.
Heart skip.
"How's Lee Ahyun helping? Su~per curious."
"Just being with her powers me up. Ahyun does that."
"!!"
Boksun noona's face twisted; Ahyun blushed prettily.
True harem life's no joke.
Playing cool, but balancing them in one room? Nightmare. Ahyun's settled—now Boksun noona.
Can't yield to her an inch.
She'd pounce like a weakness-sniffer. Had to push back firm—but not cross lines.
"Since you're here, mind helping me too, Boksun noona?"
"Power from me?"
"Yeah."
"Ack!"
"What 'power' you mean?"
"N-no! I'll do it. From me, right?!"
Ahyun caught the drift, blocking. No girl wants her man kissing another right there.
"Ahyun-ah?"
"M-me! I'll help more. I can."
"What? Something naughty? You two fucked here! Thought no cum smell meant safe—quiet cats are scariest."
"N-nooo! We didn't!"
"Really? Then kid games in this dark spot? Hohoho!"
Ahyun went beet red. They'd fight again soon. I grabbed Boksun noona's hand.
"Enough. Why so rough? Not picking a fight with Ahyun, right? We're done talking."
We'd agreed to acknowledge each other. Words settled it—or so I thought. Emotions lagged.
"...Fine. I overdid it. Too harsh on the kid."
She backed down quick—admitting jealousy sharpened her tongue.
Ahyun lost her blow-up excuse too.
"Ahyun-ah, calm down."
Pulled her in, patted her back.
"Take back what I said earlier."
"Yeah, yeah."
"Just say the word! I'll do anything."
Company no-go flipped instant. Unintended jealousy unlocked her morals.
"Nah. Won't do what you hate."
"Me? Just pampering the tiny one?"
At Boksun noona's whine, my free hand yanked her close too.
Both girls nestled into my arms that instant.
