Bianca, Melissa, and Silvia (2)
I arrived at the officetel and was about to ring the bell when I remembered the password Bianca had messaged me. I punched it in and slipped inside. She was too lazy to even open the door for me, but I inwardly pitied her for resorting to something so pathetic—though my face stayed perfectly composed.
"Bianca~ I'm here."
Hng~ Hnng… Ung… Haah! Ah, honey. Wait a sec! Stop! My sister's here.
"…The hell."
The room echoed with moans of ecstasy. Melissa's face twisted in fury.
"You're with your boyfriend, so why the hell did you call me over?"
Just wait! I'll come out!! You knew he was coming!!
She'd known damn well I was on my way and still hadn't sent her boyfriend packing. It was such an obvious ploy. Brimming with resentment but unable to show it, Melissa swallowed her irritation and slumped onto the sofa.
Moments later, Bianca emerged, wrapped in a robe, her flushed face screaming that she'd been in the middle of it.
"What the fuck is this about?"
"Sorry, sorry. I was just gonna tell you to stay in your room, but I got carried away waiting."
"Shut up! I don't wanna hear it. Get to the point. How far along is it with the family?"
"I've lined up some guys who'd be perfect for you."
"What the hell have you been doing that you're only telling me now?!"
"At first, I thought it wasn't a bad deal for you. The family's picks are all top-tier. No different from the guys you've been chasing. I figured you'd change your mind once you met them."
"…."
Just as expected, Bianca was on the side that wanted her married off.
"So why the sudden change of heart? You're reaching out like this because you wanna help me, right?"
"Yeah. I'm gonna help you out."
"Why?"
"Something kinda shitty happened with you."
"Shitty? Did you fuck up? Need money?"
If it was something money could fix, that was a relief. Melissa's worried expression—fearing what might've been taken from her—started to brighten.
"Things turned out this way against my will, so I'm sorry. Wasn't intentional. You were gonna dump him for someone else anyway, right? Just think of it as handing him over to me."
"…What the hell are you talking about?"
"Honey~ Come out here. I wanna introduce you to my little sis."
Click.
Someone emerged from the room where Bianca had been moaning just moments ago. Shockingly, it was someone Melissa knew all too well. Someone who sure as hell shouldn't have been coming out of that room.
The man stood naturally by Bianca's side as she draped her arm around his waist with equal ease.
"Wh-what the fuck are you doing coming out of there? Bianca!! What the hell is this?!"
"Let me introduce my boyfriend, Jin Haesol."
"Hello, Investor. Didn't expect our paths to cross like this… Nice to meet you."
Jin Haesol. The guy Melissa had been desperately trying to claim as her own lately. The man who was supposed to be hers soon was being introduced as Bianca's boyfriend. He even let her link arms with him, looking bashfully okay with the introduction. No trace of displeasure or fear. This wasn't some forced arrangement—it was genuine, a relationship born from real feelings.
Despair crashed over her.
"You two are dating? Boyfriend and girlfriend? Have you lost your mind, Bianca?!"
"I'm really sorry! Wasn't planned. We met by fate, and we couldn't ignore how drawn we were to each other."
"You're an investor, so I get why you're pissed. An idol you poured money into is dating—gotta be unsettling. I'll be careful about that, but Bianca said she'd handle it."
"You think I'm worried about that right now…! Hoo, my head's spinning. Explain the whole damn situation. From start to finish!!!"
Melissa's eyes weren't sane anymore. Rage-filled and laced with murderous intent.
"Haesol, mind giving us some space?"
"You sure?"
"Yeah. Just some sister talk."
"…Got it. Call me if anything happens."
"Will do! Thanks, cutie."
Bianca slyly slid her arm down, grabbing my ass hard before giving it a playful pat. So blatant and vulgar—Melissa clenched her fists the second she saw it. If she weren't her real sister, a punch would've flown. How dare she offer her filthy trotters to such a noble man!!
As I headed back to the room, Melissa lunged at Bianca like she'd been waiting for it.
"Kyaa!"
She'd planned to grab Bianca's hair to vent her boiling rage. But things didn't go her way.
Unfortunately for her, the Pink Bear Doll inside Bianca wasn't some pushover Melissa could handle.
Far from grabbing Bianca's hair, Melissa got hers yanked instead.
"Let gooo!!!"
"Hohoho! Anyone'd think I started it. Aren't you the one going too far? Trying to grab my hair after I apologized?"
"Let go before I kill you! Let go, you shameless bitch!!"
"Whoa~ Sis is taking this hard. The girl who gets her guys stolen left and right is snapping at me? If I hadn't touched him, he'd have been snatched by someone else anyway."
Bianca's words fell on deaf ears. Rage-blinded Melissa charged again.
But.
"Aaaah!"
"Force won't work on me, sis. No interest in a civilized chat?"
"Eeeeek!! Break up!! Break up now!!"
"He was gonna get stolen anyway—why not let you have him first if it bugs you that much? I was gonna block the family's marriage pressure out of guilt, but this is how you react?"
"Stolen my ass!! You ruined everything, Bianca!! Haesol's mine!!"
"That's just in your head. Haesol has zero feelings for you. A bandmate confessed to him, right? That means it's already settled in the group. Why cling to a lost cause? Snap out of it."
Bianca tried persuading her as gently as possible. But to the flipped-out Melissa, it was all lies and mockery.
"How could you do this to me? You knew I loved him and went after him anyway!! To screw me over!!"
"No! It was a mistake. Love doesn't bend to my will."
"Liar. You don't even like guys!!"
"Haesol was special."
"Don't need it! I don't care about your excuses!! Break up now. Or you'll never see me again!!"
Threatening to cut family ties over a guy? Bianca sighed dramatically, oozing disappointment.
"Aigoo, that devoted? Fine. Here's the deal: I'll lend him to you for a day. From now till noon tomorrow, you two date. You get your day with him, then hand him back to me. Problem solved, right?"
"You crazy bitch!!"
Outwardly feigning sincere remorse, Bianca—no, Silvia—sneered inwardly at Melissa's outburst.
Melissa screamed in her mind.
"Break up!! Break up! Break up!!!! Get away from my man!!"
"Okay, okay! So break up first, got it?"
"Hey!!!!!"
"Oops! Haesol might hear. Why yell like that? Did I raise you without manners?"
"Why are you doing this to me!! What do you want—tell me! I'll give you anything, just get away from Haesol!!"
Melissa apparently couldn't believe Bianca and I were truly in love.
"We are really dating. No ulterior motives."
"Kyaaaah!!!!"
Bianca's claim of pure, unintended love deepened Melissa's despair.
"You're insane. You've lost it! Aaaah!!"
Squeeze!
"Calling your sister crazy? Watch your mouth, little sis. Can't believe you don't get it. Aren't you the crazy obsessed one?"
Melissa obsessed wildly until dating, then ditched them once bored. Words wouldn't sway her.
Heh, knew it'd come to this.
Silvia yanked Melissa's hair viciously.
Melissa teared up from the scalp-ripping pain.
"It hurts!! Hurts! Really hurts!! Kyaa!!"
"That's the point. So suffer all you want."
Crack!
Something tore free.
"I'll get revenge!! You won't get away with this!!"
Melissa flailed wildly at Silvia amid screams. It was loud enough to reach me—I'd been chilling, expecting a verbal spat, curious about the outside.
? ? ?
"Sil… Bianca! Bianca! Stop! Let go! What the hell are you doing right now!!"
I rushed out and gaped at the sight: the sisters rolling on the floor, hair-pulling. I dove in, prying Silvia off Melissa. They were swinging punches, but only Silvia's landed. Melissa couldn't even fight back properly—she was getting one-sidedly crushed.
Damn, she's good in a scrap.
Admiration aside, I fully wedged myself between them to stop the attacks.
"What the hell happened?! Why are you suddenly fighting!!"
"I was first!! I was first!! Whaaaaa!!!"
Melissa—hair a mess, mascara-streaked tears streaming—burst into sobs, venting to me.
"That thief stole him!! Haesol! Break up now. What do you even see in her!! Huh?!"
"You're hopeless, sis. If you hate it that much, date Haesol for a day? That's what you do! You lose interest and dump 'em once you have 'em. So I'm lending him for a day—why freak out!!"
Silvia pressed Melissa flawlessly, as if she were Bianca. Facts hurt most.
Melissa had no comeback to the jabs, reduced to childish flailing.
"How's that the same?! You think that'll work?!"
Truth was, without Bianca's interference, I'd have followed the same path as her other conquests. Melissa's "love" peaked right before dating.
"So what then?!"
"Break up!"
"No way! Why should we break up for you!!"
"I'll pull my investment. Leak scandals too!! Still date her then?"
Unable to pressure Bianca, Melissa switched to threatening me. Futile.
Bianca—no, Silvia—snickered.
"Think I'll sit idle if you try that? Harm Haesol, and you're getting forcibly married."
"!!!"
Melissa was speechless. I slipped in to calm the overheating duo again.
"Bianca, enough. You're both too worked up. Cool down and talk rationally later?"
"How long do I gotta cater to my immature little sis? I've been plenty patient. Lending my boyfriend for a day? That's huge sacrifice."
"What's this 'lending' crap you've been saying?"
I played dumb, feigning ignorance. If this were real and no setup, it'd be a massive concession. What sister lends her crush for a day of dating—and sex?
But it was all staged from the start. No sacrifice for Silvia!
"She likes you. Stalked you like crazy? Invested in your group to snag you."
"What?"
"Bianca!!!!"
"Funny part? She eats guys up and spits 'em out as a hobby. So if you're that wronged, take a day. She dumps 'em once bored—piles of 'em. That's why I said: date a day, dump him, I'll pick up the pieces."
I widened my eyes in mock shock. Inwardly: Nice one, Pink Bear! Provoke more! Talking won't work.
Melissa's eyes flipped again at Silvia's barbs. Pride wouldn't let her yield.
"I won't dump him!! Why assume?! I'll date him forever!"
"Sure you will."
"Haesol!!! Date me. Not a day—forever!!"
She clutched my clothes.
"Investor!"
"Even a day would bore you and make you dump him. No need to stroke your ego. Haesol has no feelings for you anyway?"
"Then I'll make him!! Date me. I can do better than Bianca."
"No, dating's not kid stuff…"
"Not playing! For real. Kissing! Sex! Long-term!!"
"…."
Silvia grinned where Melissa couldn't see. Her provocation was masterful.
Originally, we'd planned for her to say we were dating, so give up. I figured it'd work.
But Silvia insisted it wouldn't sway Melissa.
Worried it might, but she's right.
