Tester Recruitment
Tester Recruitment
When did this obsession with mysteries begin?
I don't remember clearly, but it was definitely since I was a little kid.
To be precise, I suppose I got started with stories like 'urban legends' back then, though looking back now, I have no idea why I liked them so much.
'Was it because they stimulated curiosity with interesting subjects?'
That would probably be the closest reason.
Of course, getting so hooked on them that I became a hikikomori is a separate issue, but even if I could go back in time, I'd make the exact same choice.
"Ha, aliens from what era?"
As much as mysteries were my dopamine outlet, I had now become a body that couldn't live without them.
Even for someone like me, there was a source of trouble.
That was none other than the fact that there were no longer any things left that could catch my eye.
I had roamed online communities so much that I had reached the realm of truly distinguishing between real and fake among posts uploaded under the title of unidentified.
However, as I mentioned earlier, this wasn't necessarily a good thing.
In other words, it meant that the joy of my life was no longer fun, which was the same as saying I couldn't eat the meal I needed to have every day.
"...I need to find a job, too."
Amidst all that, suffering from the harsh job market meant it was literally a situation where sighs naturally burst out.
Ah, if I were to make some incredible discovery at a time like this, I might even be able to earn some money.
"...Tester recruitment?"
And so, while waking up at noon today and rummaging through job postings, I found the following recruitment notice.
"Recruiting testers for a newly opening Escape Room Cafe...."
No experience necessary, and any healthy adult can apply.
The test requires experiencing a total of 5 themes, and 1 million won is paid for each completed theme. (Negotiable later)
However, if the contents of the themes are leaked outside, the base pay will not be paid.
Furthermore, if the rules within the cafe are leaked, the base pay will not be paid.
Testers who complete all themes will be provided with the opportunity to work at the cafe in the future depending on their aptitude.
"We look forward to many applications...."
I read the job posting and slowly scrolled down.
The contents written in the posting were simple.
Just as it said now, they planned to recruit people to test themes at an escape room cafe opening soon, and pay wages according to the conditions.
"But...."
It all sounded good, but the more I read it, the more I couldn't shake off a suspicious feeling.
Even if you ask why, such high-paying part-time work in this day and age of soaring prices?
Of course, how long and how grueling this would be could only be known by actually doing it, but even so, an escape room is just an escape room, right?
"Yet they're paying 1 million won just for testing a theme that lasts barely an hour or two?"
Is there anything more to say? It was obvious they were masking something weird under the guise of a test.
Perhaps because of that, my hand naturally drifted toward the fake posting report button.
"......."
The moment I was about to press that report menu, I fell into a massive dilemma.
It was a simple worry.
A worry whether there was really any need to go as far as reporting when I could just not do it.
And a worry whether I shouldn't just listen to the details since I could always just not do it anyway.
"And then...."
A worry about what to do if, by any chance, this posting was actually real.
Such worries instantly surrounded my head.
"...In times like this, diving in without thinking is the right answer."
Should I just make a call?
"Yeah, that would be better."
Rather than worrying like this, it would be easier to just ask.
Besides, just by talking, I might be able to tell whether it's a scam or not.
So, I planned to listen and if it really didn't seem right, hang up the phone right away.
"...They're not picking up."
However, defying that resolution, the call didn't connect, and instead, a text message arrived immediately.
The text simply had an address input blank to receive the 'Tester Potion'.
"Figures."
Not taking calls and suddenly demanding a home address? They're even giving out medicine?
At this point, it was at the level of advertising themselves as scammers from the get-go, but ironically, that was the problem.
The application method matching the keyword 'escape room' stimulated my parched dopamine outlet.
"No, no matter how much I think about it, this is..."
It really looks dangerous.
Think carefully. It's exposing your home address.
They could give you something like a sleeping pill and the moment you swallow it, they could break into your home.
Leaving all that aside, doesn't taking medicine given by a stranger make zero sense to me?
"That's right. Absolutely."
[Address input complete.]
"Huh."
However, as you can see now, my brain had long been pickled in dopamine.
Even though I managed to change it to a nearby convenience store instead of my home address, I had ultimately written down that I would receive some unknown drug.
"...Well, I mean, what kind of thing could possibly happen?"
In this day and age, they aren't going to openly kidnap someone.
Come to think of it, I can just go to a pharmacy and ask about the medicine, right?
And if it seems like a weird drug, I can just not take it.
As always, the end of the habit of rushing in first ended with self-consolation.
"Lies..."
No, it had to end even like that.

"W-What is this...?"
Otherwise, the sight before my eyes right now couldn't be explained.
Literally right in front of my eyes, a blonde bishoujo was making a surprised expression.
"Even what I'm wearing is the old cotton shirt I've had for years..."
I didn't know how to explain this, but the cause was clear.
Just yesterday, I found that suspicious posting, was bewitched into applying as a tester, and today, I drank the medicine delivered to the convenience store.
The problem was that the pharmacy had definitely said it was ordinary vitamins.
"Was the pharmacy wrong?"
That probably wasn't it.
No matter how badly they misread it, they wouldn't confuse a drug that turns you into a woman with vitamins.
"Then does this mean all of this is real...?"
The growing confusion and an even larger mass of dopamine met, plunging me into a feeling of my head floating away.
Perhaps because of that, my actions naturally led to examining my body.
"It-It's really big..."
First of all, as you could see, my breasts were ridiculously huge.
Somehow, it felt like I was committing a bad deed so I didn't look inside, but it was obvious even from the outside.
"Next is..."
Halt-.
"N-No. This isn't my body."
Wait, it moves according to my will, so isn't it my body?
"Is that so?"
To be completely honest, I already knew without looking directly because the sensation of my lower body felt empty.
Down here, the buddy that had been with me all my life had vanished.
However, the mere fact that I knew that wasn't enough to suppress my surging curiosity.
Around the time my nosebleed was about to burst from the fact that I had fallen into such a mysterious event.
The soft pink cleft that entered my vision captured my gaze for quite a long time.
The pussy I saw for the very first time in my life was none other than my own pussy.
*
"...That is that, though."
I needed to figure out what was going on.
As I just said, I came out to the city to get to the bottom of this matter.
Since the last time I went out was three years ago, I wanted to avoid going outside, but I set out to go to that cafe.
'Whatever the case, going there directly will be the fastest way.'
And so, based on the text message that arrived additionally yesterday, I wandered through the city.
Along the way, it was a bit strange that instead of an address, they attached a hand-drawn map, but the location wasn't all that difficult to find.
The place I eventually arrived at was the final building in the absolute remotest alley of the city.
Its appearance was unexpectedly very ordinary, a building with an escape room cafe sign blatantly written on it.
"......."
It was hard to believe they sent that kind of medicine from a place like this, but there was no surer method than this.
Fidgeting with the self-defense spray I had sneaked into my pocket, I stepped inside the building.
Upon entering the interior, a slightly sweet scent wafted over.
It wasn't to the point of being bothersome, but rather a savory smell like freshly baked bread.
Anyway, the elevator leading up to the entrance had a not-so-bad exterior.
Ding-.
...Though it was a bit strange that the elevator only had a single button for the 5th floor.
Well, maybe they were using the entire building to themselves.
When I stepped out of the elevator, an interior design that mixed eeriness and cuteness fifty-fifty caught my eye.
Did they call this dark fairy tale?
Decorations that looked like they came straight out of a ghost story combined with decorations straight out of a fairy tale, creating exactly that vibe.
"Excuse me..."
The saving grace, at least, was that the cafe's interior had a fairly bright atmosphere.
Literally, the appearance of this place where I had finally set foot was as vibrant as a waiting room in a fairy tale.
"Is anyone h-..."

"Oh, are you perhaps the person who came for the test?"
Sure enough, the moment I crossed the entrance, someone who looked like an employee welcomed me.
Her purple hair was striking, but she had a very ordinary-looking impression considering she worked here.
"Ah, yes..."
"Nice to meet you. I'm the manager of this floor."
Introducing herself as the manager, she reached out her hand.
Considering people usually reveal themselves as the boss or a regular staff member, even this was an unusual detail, but thanks to her exceptionally kind appearance, I finally started to feel at ease.
"However, by any chance...!"
"Ah-ah-, but what a shame. You've already broken the 'Rules'."
"...Pardon?"
However, leaning on that relief when I tried to bring up the main topic right away, before I could even say what I had in mind, something felt strange.
It wasn't like she was cutting me off or anything like that.
Rather, the employee grinned and stepped up close to me, and the strange part was that my mouth suddenly wouldn't open.
'I-I can't speak?'
A sequence of events hard to believe even after experiencing them.
At this point, part-time job or whatever, the thought that I needed to get out of here surged up.
Though to say the thought surged up would be inaccurate because my feet were already moving.
No matter how much I liked this kind of stuff, experiencing such completely unrealistic things in real life had made my head spin.
"Oh, you broke the 'Rules' again."
Halt-.
However, my legs stopped not long after. The cause for this too was unknown, but it felt as though I had been grabbed by the employee.
As those strange phenomena piled and piled up, sending a chill down the back of my neck, the sound of something rustling came from behind me, and the employee appeared.
"Then..."

"As a penalty, I'll start by gobbling you up first♡"
