- Whoaaaa lololol
- Yesss lololol
- Uploads are so fast these days... Back in my day... upload times... encoding times... took forever...
- What's with this guy? Looks like a White Skull guild member? Did he just record instead of fighting?
ㄴ (OP) I ran out of potions and escaped up a tree. Happened to have a good view of the Green Dragon, so I zoomed in and recorded. They usually restrict videos and streams to prevent leaks, so I'm posting as an anonymous user in case I get caught.
ㄴ Isn't the White Skull guild master Salshinboeun? Find this guy and kick him from the guild.
- Before the first breath, streamers not affiliated with the GG Alliance were broadcasting. What happened after that? How did they block the breath? Did they cycle invincibility and party protection skills like Plan B?
ㄴ It's in the part of the video I'm watching now. They killed the guardians and used the scales to make a barricade.
ㄴ Wow, the Red and White guild members were hitting the guardians from the start. They really planned to take down that massive health pool.
ㄴ I don't think they could've even tried without Whitey tanking. Is it possible to tank the Green Dragon without party protection skills?
ㄴ You could probably stick a Mage with party protection skills near the tank. Someone who can self-sustain well. But Whitey is just doing it alone.
- So the flight pattern is at 50%. Oh shit, the dragon's falling lololol.
ㄴ There were Rangers waiting above. Looks like they used a ballista object? How did they find it?
ㄴ The Red and White Guild entered first from the cliffs above. They probably went around to avoid the faction war since they were in PvE gear.
ㄴ Looks like they aren't taking damage over time from the poison mist either. Not chugging antidotes. Is it because of that green buff?
ㄴ I know what that is. It's the poison immunity buff from the Poison Spider Cave. They must have gone there to get it.
ㄴ Yeah, even in the classic raid game WOA, there were tactics where you'd get a fire resistance buff from somewhere else before tackling a raid.
- It's at 20% now lololol. Look at them peeling off the dragon's scales. Are they filleting a fish?
- Wow, once the scales are off, the Yin-Yang Master's and Spirit Master's binding skills are landing. The damage is hitting harder and harder too.
- Could other parties do this? Or is it something only the Red and White Guild can pull off? Whitey peeled off the scales on its neck during the first breath, and they drained a ton of health by targeting that spot.
ㄴ Later on, when everyone's specs are higher, they'll probably be able to do good damage even through the scales, but with Ancient Temple gear, it would take forever.
ㄴ Whitey's just built different. Did you see him step on the rocks that floated up during the breath attack and climb up?
ㄴ Holy crap, that's like something out of an anime lololol.
ㄴ I should just quit being a Swordsman. It's seriously ridiculous. I know it's a virtual reality game, but isn't the skill gap too huge?
- Gyuam Jo Hyeon-su enters the chat lololol.
- Kkik-kkik-kkik lolololol
- They're screwed. Jo Hyeon-su's PvP gear is insane. Isn't the Red and White Guild all in PvE gear? The GG Clan is probably busy fighting Plan B on the outskirts of the forest to block their advance.
ㄴ Looks like they took down Jo Hyeon-su and then finished off the dragon. How did they stop him? With his level of PvP gear, it'd be hard to take him down even with dozens of people in PvE gear.
ㄴ Yep. He has fully enhanced special reforged gear with a full set of bonus damage to players and player damage reduction. He converted all his weapon's attack power to player attack power to inflate it. With that setup, he can't deal damage to the Green Dragon, but he'd slice through players like a hot knife through butter.
ㄴ He's also got super expensive Echo Stones equipped. All three are Elite+ grade. Looks like a Freeze Echo, Status Resistance Echo, and Lifesteal Echo setup.
- Wow, even Death of Death got owned. Death of Death is rank 1 in the arena and Jo Hyeon-su is rank 2, but he couldn't even scratch him.
ㄴ Yeah, it's different from the arena where gear is equalized. In a faction war, even Death of Death can't beat Jo Hyeon-su with his gear.
ㄴ Oh no, Chris is gonna die.
ㄴ Oh!
- Whitey just drew Jo Hyeon-su's aggro. Let's do a play-by-play from here.
ㄴ Are you guys seeing this right now? Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing?
ㄴ Wtf
ㄴ He's not getting hit? He's not even blocking, just dodging.
ㄴ Swordsman skills are instant cast, how is he dodging them? Is he dodging instead of blocking because his feet will freeze from the Echo effect if he blocks?
ㄴ I've run into him in the arena before. He dodges projectiles too. His reflexes are insane.
ㄴ It's like his synchronization rate is on another level. Did he hack his capsule to raise it?
ㄴ Even if your sync rate was 100%, do you really think you could dodge that? lolol
ㄴ Ah, but his damage isn't getting through. As expected, you can't kill Jo Hyeon-su with PvE gear.
ㄴ He landed a full aerial combo lololol.
ㄴ So you can use Flash as the finisher for an aerial combo. I'm gonna practice that.
ㄴ Ah, Jo Hyeon-su didn't die. He's chugging a potion. It's over.
ㄴ Looks like Whitey can't dodge anymore. His feet are starting to freeze.
ㄴ Gasp, he fell from on top of the dragon.
ㄴ Nooo!!! Whitey, you're in danger!!!
ㄴ Huh?
ㄴ Whoa.
ㄴ What is that? Something green is flashing.
ㄴ Whoaaaaa lololol
ㄴ Ah~ here comes the breath attack lololol.
ㄴ Did he bait it? It looks like he fell in front of the dragon's mouth on purpose.
ㄴ Jo Hyeon-su is down lolololol.
ㄴ The map itself has changed.
ㄴ Ah, guys, who falls for that!
ㄴ Player Jo Hyeon-su...
.
.
.
- So that's how it ended. What would've happened if Jo Hyeon-su got the last hit on the dragon?
ㄴ Red and White did all the damage, so Jo Hyeon-su probably wouldn't have looting rights. That's how it works with a contribution system. Plan B's best bet was just to wipe out the Red and White Guild and reset the dragon.
ㄴ I'm with the Plan B Alliance, and the distribution terms for a successful raid were good. What a shame.
ㄴ What if Jo Hyeon-su had succeeded with his gank, pushed back the GG Clan, and then raided the dragon again to claim it?
ㄴ He'd be a hero from the Betarion Empire's perspective.
ㄴ Yeah, Jo Hyeon-su is a decent guy. But his weird laugh makes him seem like a villain lol.
ㄴ He was persecuting cute little Whitey, so he really did look like a villain lolol.
- If a legendary weapon drops, how much do you think it'll go for?
ㄴ I'm guessing at least 10,000 gold.
ㄴ Isn't 10,000 gold like a hundred grand in real cash? lolol Is that even possible?
ㄴ There's the honor of being the first owner of a legendary weapon. Plenty of people would spend a hundred grand on that. Don't worry about the rich.
ㄴ In games like Maple Story, plenty of people have spent hundreds of millions without batting an eye. Isn't a hundred grand for a single weapon cheap?
ㄴ Yeah, even crafting an Elite+ grade Echo right now easily costs thousands. You have to buy tradable Echo Stones.

"Whoa! We really did it!"
"Red and White! Red and White! Chris's Attack Squad!"
Waaaaah-!
"To the GG Clan Alliance, thank you for your hard work. You all did an excellent job holding back the Plan B Alliance."
"I'd say we won because everyone faithfully fulfilled their roles in their respective positions."
Chris shook hands with 'We Got Married', the guild master of the GG Clan.
The raid on the world boss, the 'Green Dragon', ended in a victory for the Alpharion Empire.
Once the Green Dragon fell, the Betarion Empire's Plan B Alliance lost their will to fight and were all pushed out of the forest.
Tug.
I grabbed Chris's collar and clung to her, timidly looking around.
The area around the now masterless dragon's lair was filled with players from the Alpharion Empire. At a glance, there seemed to be hundreds.
There are too many people.
I couldn't pay attention during the battle, but there were this many players inside the forest.
The Red and White guild members who had died also returned.
"Rain~! Are you okay!?"
Pitter-patter.
Beimerung ran toward me, her face on the verge of tears.
"I'm fine. I just landed on my butt when I fell from the dragon's head."
I gave Beimerung a small smile. Then, I twisted my waist to look down at my rear. It was definitely covered in dirt.
"Sister."
I looked at Chris and stuck my bottom out slightly. It was a request to brush off the dirt.
"A-ahem."
Pat, pat!
Chris cleared her throat and brushed the dirt from my rear.
Her face seems to have turned a little red.
Clap.
We Got Married clapped his hands, drawing everyone's attention.
"Alright, alright, it's great to celebrate our victory, but it's time to check the most important thing: the rewards. The looting rights belong to the Red and White Guild's attack squad, correct?"
"Yes. As the raid leader, I'll do the looting."
Woooooah-!
The players from the GG Clan Alliance, who had been promised their share, let out a roar. Unaffiliated individual players couldn't hide their disappointment.
We Got Married gave a broad smile, then spoke to the unaffiliated players of the Alpharion Empire.
"To the unaffiliated players who also fought against the Betarion Empire, I will distribute a portion of my share to you. I can't promise it will be a satisfying amount, though."
Waaaah!
"We Got Married! We Got Married!"
"If a spot opens up in the GG Clan, please post a recruitment notice!"
We Got Married, guild master of the GG Clan. As expected of a faction leader. He knows how to win over the people.
For now, most of the players' attention was focused on We Got Married and Chris.
However, I could also feel quite a few gazes fixed specifically on me, not Chris.
I could sense two main emotions from those gazes.
One was a mixture of awe and astonishment, doubt and curiosity. The other was a strange gaze, quite different in nature.
Hmm, I'm not sure about the latter.
If Chris weren't next to me, wouldn't all sorts of people have come up to ask me questions?
After all, my playstyle is quite different from that of a typical Swordsman.
I snuggled closer to Chris, pressing myself against her.
Did I show off too much?
I've been playing solo all this time because I find this kind of attention burdensome.
But when a world boss that could drop a legendary item appears, you can't just not raid it.
I want it.
With me dangling off her, Chris looted the chest left by the dragon, and a look of surprise appeared on her face.
"Mana Stones, High-Grade Mana Stones, and even Highest-Grade Mana Stones! How many are there?"
"How many are there?"
"There must be tens of thousands of regular Mana Stones alone. Green Dragon bones and scales... are these special reforging materials? And...."
The faces of the surrounding players lit up.
If there were that many Mana Stones, which are essential for all types of item enhancement, then everyone's individual share would be satisfying.
The monster's bones and scales could be used by blacksmiths as special reforging materials or to craft new items. New crafting materials always fetch a high price. The quantity was also plentiful enough to be distributed.
As expected, the world boss yielded enormous rewards. I don't know how long the 'Green Dragon's' respawn cycle is, but they wouldn't release this much currency and materials wantonly. It must be at least several months.
But, the main event was yet to come.
There would be people aiming for the item itself, and others hoping for a share of the gold from the auction.
And that was.
"...There is. A legendary item."
Beep.
Chris shared the item information.
[Green Dragon Heart]
[Legendary Grade]
[Binds on Pickup]
[Reacts to the user's power to reveal its true form]
"What is this!?"
"It's a Legendary grade item! But, it's not a weapon?"
"Look at the item description! It seems like it becomes a weapon suited for your class when you acquire it."
"The first Legendary grade weapon in the history of Astria Online!"
Waaaaah!
We Got Married calmed the players and began the auction.
"Alright. Unfortunately, as we discussed beforehand, participation in the auction for the legendary item is limited to members of the GG Clan Alliance. We'll start the bidding at 500 gold."
I checked my gold balance. I had about 2,000 gold saved up that I hadn't converted to cash. That's a huge sum, equivalent to twenty thousand dollars.
A fortune that, before starting 'Astria Online', I would never have dreamed of spending.
But now, I could afford it.
The issue with Iseulbi's housing, which I had expected to be the biggest expense, was also resolved.
Green Dragon Heart.
I don't know its stats yet, but it's the very first 'Legendary Grade' weapon in Astria Online.
At the very least, it would have specs that would outclass weapons from the next four or five tiers of elite dungeons.
I want it.
It's an investment in myself.
I'm going to go all in.
I swallowed hard, raised a trembling hand, and cautiously said.
"One thousand go—"
"2,000 gold!"
"2,500 gold!"
"Gasp!"
I jumped in shock.
