Chapter 219: Rest (2)
Chapter 219: Rest (2)
A wedding.
I’d never really given it much thought. But I supposed I’d have to have one eventually.
Once all the problems were solved, that is.
…Gilbert was visibly disappointed when he heard that, but since he knew the current situation wasn't great, he fortunately accepted it.
Afterward, my party and I returned to the VIP room, while Helena headed off to discuss various matters with the Church leadership.
They had to decide how to announce the emergence of a Saintess for the first time in three hundred years, how to implement the policies we’d decided on during the meal, and so on.
The Church was going to be busy, so it couldn't be helped.
Helena was no longer just a simple nun; she was now a proper high-ranking figure, so she couldn't exactly skip out on these things.
And so, after parting ways with Helena with a promise to see each other later, we stepped into the VIP room provided for us.
Thud! Click.
The moment the door closed, Iona locked it.
She clapped her hands lightly, her dark red eyes curving into crescents.
“Attention, everyone! From now on, we will have an ‘interrogation session regarding what Yandel has been up to for the past three days’! Everyone, take your seats!”
“Wait, what? What do you mean… Whoa? Hold on a second!”
Ignoring my confusion, Iona grabbed my shoulders and forced me down onto a nearby sofa.
It was a large, ornate piece of furniture reminiscent of a throne, and it was just as plush and comfortable as it looked.
Though faint, I could sense a trace of holy power within it—likely a high-end sofa that had been blessed for good measure.
It was truly a treasure meant to soothe the mind and body of the Church’s VIPs… or it would have been.
If only the other women hadn't crowded around me the moment I sat down.
Carla sat on the floor without hesitation, leaning her head against my left thigh.
Elisha crouched more demurely, resting her chin on my right thigh as she looked up at me.
Iona perched herself on one armrest, squashing my hand beneath her, while Fay sat on the other armrest and wrapped an arm around my neck.
Finally, Iris crawled up and straddled my waist.
At a glance, it looked like I was a man with five women at his beck and call, but in reality, I was effectively bound hand and foot.
Having cut off all my escape routes in an instant, Iona spoke with a beaming smile.
“You see, it’s not that I want to monopolize Student Yandel. I’m sure everyone else feels the same!”
“Uh, right.”
“But if you neglect us, we’re going to pout.”
“…….”
Their gazes were fixed on me, their mouths shut tight as if ready to puff out their cheeks at any moment.
I let out a small chuckle and nodded.
“I understand. I wanted to talk about this when the person in question was present, but… I suppose this is fine too.”
I grabbed Iris’s rear to keep her from sliding off. Since one hand was pinned under Iona’s butt, I guess I had a handful of ass in both hands.
Shaking off that idle thought, I began to speak.
“First of all, like I said, I wasn't just praying for three days. Here’s what happened….”
I gave them the long and short of it.
From Righteous Light transforming into a human form, to the suggestion of planting a Seed of Authority to maintain my blessing while growing Helena’s.
I explained everything, merely glossing over the part where the System handled the translation.
“And that’s how it went.”
“Hoh… To think Righteous Light could take a human form. I only ever saw the lion during the Great War, so this is quite fascinating, Master.”
“I agree with Master Iris that the human transformation is surprising, but I’m more shocked by the fact that the deity was a Goddess.”
Iris and Elisha nodded with impressed expressions. It made sense.
Even though I’d seen the endings of H&A hundreds of times, I never knew Righteous Light could turn human, let alone that she was a Goddess.
That was why I’d tilted my head in confusion when she was first described as hopping around or rolling on the floor.
The others didn't say it, but they were all fascinated by Righteous Light’s unexpected appearance.
“Ugh, h-hik, no way….”
Except for one person. Fay had frozen in place, her face turning pale.
“Senior Fay? What’s wrong?”
“Did… did Righteous Light really watch everything?”
“Mmm. To be precise, Lady Helena happened to spot us and instinctively offered a prayer, and the Goddess took a peek.”
“…The nun roleplay?”
“…Yes. She even asked if I liked that sort of thing, and she was wearing a nun’s habit herself when she turned human.”
“I-I’m going to be struck by divine punishment!!”
Fay shrieked and bolted upright. She moved with such force that she almost tumbled off the armrest, so I hastily pulled her back with Telekinesis.
“Hyaaaaah!”
“Calm down, Senior Fay!”
“How can I be calm?! I did those sorts of things in a nun’s habit right in front of a God! That means she saw me venting about my worries while cleaning up semen, and begging for mercy only to end up begging for dick!”
“I told you, it’s fine! She didn't say anything bad. In fact, she even encouraged Lady Helena to try it since she seemed interested!”
“What?! Don't lie to me, Junior! I appreciate you trying to make me feel better, but… what kind of God encourages their own Saintess to do nun roleplay?!”
“Surprisingly, there’s one right here.”
“…Really?”
I nodded with a serious expression in response to her skeptical gaze. Fay’s mouth fell open in a daze.
However, this time, it was the other women’s turn to jump.
“Wait a moment, Master. When did you engage in such an enviable play with Miss Fay?!”
“That’s right! That’s right! Student Yandel… you weren't planning on leaving us out, were you? Let’s do it right now!”
Carla protested cutely while kneading my thigh, and Iona protested by pressing her weight down on my hand.
Iris, who was clinging to me like a koala, buried her face in my chest and spoke.
“Everyone, calm down. Don't we have a more important topic to discuss right now?”
“Yes. Master Iris is right. It’s spiteful that Miss Fay did the nun roleplay all by herself behind our backs… but we can just wear them next time. The issue isn't that, but Priestess Helena… no, the Saintess.”
At the mention of Helena’s name, the three of them fell silent as if by agreement.
In the strangely heavy silence, Carla spoke up with a solemn voice.
“So.”
“Yeah?”
“Did you do it? You and the Saintess, Master.”
“…Yeah.”
“How many times…?”
“I’m not sure. Since the Authority of recovery was active, we just kept going without stopping, so I lost track.”
“Gasp!”
Carla’s ruby eyes went wide, and she covered her mouth with her hands.
Iris swallowed hard and continued as if speaking for Carla.
“Master. Does this mean Saintess Helena is now in the same boat as us?”
“The same boat? Ah, well, I’ve decided to take proper responsibility, and Lady Helena agreed, so she’s one of my women now.”
“No, that’s not what I meant. I was asking if the Saintess has now become ‘fallen’ as well.”
“Don't say such ominous things… If someone heard you, they’d think I was some kind of collector who only picks up fallen ladies.”
“It’s not exactly wrong, is it? In fact, no one here has a normal background anymore.”
“Tsk.”
I didn't really have a comeback for that….
“Anyway, not this time. You heard it in the audience chamber before, didn't you? The cultists are targeting the Church of Light, and I warned them about it. Helena won't be falling.”
“Hmm, hmm. Well, that’s a relief then. It’s not like we want a perfectly fine person to fall.”
The others nodded in agreement with Iris, but none of them could meet my eyes.
What the hell? Did they seriously think I had a thing for fallen noble ladies? Was it not a joke?
I let out a hollow laugh, but only for a moment. Iona clapped her hands to change the subject.
Clap, clap.
“Enough, enough. That’s enough of that! Anyway, Student Helena is our comrade now, so let’s keep that in mind and take care of her when we see her next!”
She then slunk her hand inside my collar as she continued.
“Well, until then? Shouldn't we… try this ‘nun roleplay’ ourselves?”
Her tone was playful, but her eyes held clear temptation. The others seemed to agree, as the look in their eyes shifted.
They already seemed dissatisfied that I’d done it with Fay first in secret… it would be wrong to back out now. However.
“…Could we do it next time instead of today, Professor? Even with the help of an Authority, doing it for three days and nights straight makes me feel like I’m actually going to die.”
“Aha? Aha? Certainly, even for Student Yandel, doing it that many times in a row must be exhausting.”
Iona nodded as if she understood perfectly, but for some reason, the mischievous glint in her eyes grew even deeper.
“But you know what, Student Yandel?”
“Yes…? What?”
I replied as naturally as possible, hiding my unease. Iona curled her lips into a smirk.
Her lips parted, revealing her sharp fangs glinting between them.
“I haven't had any blood for three days.”
“Ah.”
“If I suck it… won't it stand up?”
“…….”
I suppose so. Whether she sucked my neck or somewhere else, it would probably stand up.
I took a deep breath and looked straight ahead. As the saying goes, if you can't avoid it, enjoy it. I had no choice but to steel my resolve.
I shouted out with a burst of strong will.
“Bring it on!”
Yeah. I did it for three days; what’s one more?
