Chapter 206: Fay's Payday (4)
Chapter 206: Fay's Payday (4)
Morning arrived, passing through the pitch-black midnight and the dim twilight of dawn.
The sun, having just risen, illuminated the hazy forest.
Watching the world regain its original colors, I found myself taking a deep, unconscious breath.
"Ssssip... Haaaa."
Even though I had stayed up all night, a refreshing sensation I hadn't felt in a long time circulated through my entire body.
The morning breeze blew. I enjoyed the sound of birds chirping in the distance while standing there naked, then slowly looked down.
"Hiit... Huueee..."
There lay Fay, making strange breathing sounds with her eyes spinning in circles.
She was sitting with her bottom on the ground, legs stretched out and slightly parted.
Her neat nun's habit was torn to shreds, revealing her pale skin without reservation, and over all of it, white semen was thickly splattered.
Drip.
"Hieeek!"
Fay flinched at the sensation of the semen belatedly trickling from between her red, swollen legs.
I thought she had completely lost her mind, but I guess her senses were still alive.
With a wry smile, I cast Clean magic on Fay and dressed her in her original clothes, which were strewn behind a tree.
Finally, I fed her a potion and hoisted her onto my back.
"Up we go."
"Huu... Heh?"
Perhaps her mind hadn't fully returned yet, as she flailed slightly. I firmly supported her buttocks with one hand and looked at the nun's habit lying there like a discarded husk.
Though it had been cleaned with magic, the vital areas were still torn and ruined.
But there was no need to worry. Although its protective functions had vanished when I removed the Church's symbol, it still possessed basic features like auto-repair and size adjustment.
If left alone, it would fix itself.
I folded it neatly and put it into Fay's subspace. It wouldn't repair itself in my inventory since time didn't flow there.
"Well then, shall we head back?"
I guess I really had been pent up. Just letting it all out once made the world look beautiful.
A hum escaped my lips involuntarily. With every step, the sensation of Fay's breasts pressing against my back made my stride even lighter.
As I was humming and retracing my steps.
"Hm?"
There was a puddle of water gathered in the bushes a short distance away.
Huh? It didn't rain...
Well, it's a forest, so things happen. Maybe it's a spot where dew collects, or there's groundwater flowing underneath.
It wasn't anything important, so I dismissed it and readjusted my grip on Fay's buttocks.
"Uuugh... Huh? Junior?"
Fay, who had just woken up, mumbled in a groggy voice.
I pressed my cheek against hers as it rested on my shoulder and rubbed gently.
"Are you awake, Senior Fay?"
"Ueee... I'm awake. I'm awake, so stoop... I can't open my eyes."
"Oh. That's actually good. If you can't see, I can carry you on my back like this for the rest of your life."
"...That's a bit creepy, but I hate myself for being momentarily tempted by the idea."
At the sight of Fay letting out a deep sigh, we both burst into laughter.
Our laughter echoed through the empty forest path. It felt as if Fay and I were the only two people left in the world.
It might be nice to have times like this with the others occasionally.
Perhaps I wasn't the only one thinking that. This time, Fay rubbed her face against my neck and whispered.
"This is nice. ...Do you feel that way too, Junior?"
"Of course."
"Heh, heeey. That's a bit unexpected. You're so used to this kind of thing, I thought you'd be less moved by it."
"......"
Her arms hugged my neck tightly as if she wouldn't let go. She let out a small sigh of relief.
Good grief.
I lightly patted her bottom with the hand that was supporting her and spoke.
"Do you know something, Senior Fay?"
"What?"
"I probably like you a lot more than you think."
"...Hup!"
"I mean, how can you suddenly act so insecure after we enjoyed ourselves so intensely yesterday?"
When I slumped my shoulders as if hurt, Fay flapped her arms in a panic.
"No, wait... that's... I mean..."
"Sniff, sniff... Was I the only one who was sincere?"
"N-No, it's not like that!"
When I pretended to cry, Fay shrieked into my ear. Then, surprised by her own loud voice, she clamped her hand over her mouth.
She then mumbled quietly for a long time.
"It's not that... it's just that you're........."
"Pardon?"
It was too quiet to hear properly, so I asked again. Fay bit her lower lip hard as if making a decision.
Then, in a voice mixed with embarrassment, joy, and relief, she spoke clearly.
"But. This is the first time you've actually said you liked me directly, isn't it?"
"Ah."
Now that I thought about it, she was right. This was the first time I had told Fay I liked her in words.
"...You know, Junior. Do you remember what I said before? You know, what I said during our first time."
"Hmm... The part about having my baby?"
"N-No! The part right before that!"
"I'm joking. Of course I remember. You asked me to like you."
"Yeah. And instead of answering, you..."
"I kissed you. Did it not get across properly?"
"No, it's not that. But how should I put it? I wanted to hear it in words. It makes me feel a bit more secure. Aaaah! I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. Sorry, Junior... I sound like a high-maintenance woman, don't I?"
"You've always been a high-maintenance woman, Senior Fay."
"That's mean..."
Suspicious, timid, unable to speak her mind, gloomy—and yet stubborn on top of all that.
She was even the type to commit suicide if I was just a little bit late.
If I hadn't gripped her leash through sponsorship, it would have taken forever just to get close to her.
"But I like that high-maintenance side of you, Senior Fay."
The Fay I saw in H&A, who polished herself until she shone, was one thing.
But the Fay hanging onto my back right now, wanting confirmation of my affection, was another.
"I really like you a lot."
"......"
Wait. I endured the embarrassment to say it, and all I got was silence?
Feeling a bit piqued, I turned my head to say something.
"Ah. Uh. Waaaah. D-Don't look at my face..."
My heart melted instantly at the sight of Fay desperately hiding her beet-red face.
"Fine. I won't look, so just give me an answer already."
"...An answer?"
"Yes. I said I liked you, so don't you have anything to say to me, Senior Fay?"
"Uuuugh."
After mulling it over for a moment, she slowly opened her mouth.
"Me... too. Yeah. I like you a lot too, Junior. Probably more than you like me."
"Oh ho?"
I didn't expect her to counter like that.
As I stood there speechless, just letting out a hollow laugh, Fay poked my cheek and grumbled.
"Junior. You just thought, 'Wow, she's such an easy woman, getting all softened up by one "I like you,"' didn't you?"
"No. But I did think that this side of you is a bit of a handful."
"Mean!"
"But you like me like this, don't you, Senior Fay? I can tell you're enjoying being toyed with by your younger junior."
"Ugh...!"
Fay flinched as if I'd hit the nail on the head. Chuckling at her reaction, I checked the direction of the carriage visible in the distance.
Since the forest looked different between night and day, I had retraced the path exactly as I remembered it thanks to my Excellent Memory trait.
Fortunately, it seemed I had found the right way.
"We're almost there. Should we think of a simple scenario for an excuse?"
"Huh? Can't we just tell them? Everyone might be a bit disappointed or jealous, but they won't say much. I think they'd be more hurt if we hid it."
"Ah, I'll tell the other women separately. ...I still have more nun's habits, after all."
"Hiek!"
Fay's lower body suddenly grew damp, perhaps remembering what happened yesterday.
I lightly patted her bottom with the hand supporting her to tell her to snap out of it.
Slap!
"What are you doing, getting wet all of a sudden?"
"That's... because the memory of yesterday was so intense, the nun's habit feels like erotic clothing now..."
"Calm down for now. We can do more later, right?"
"Yeah... Ah, so what was that earlier? Who are you trying to make an excuse to?"
"Sister Helena, of course. She always wakes up early for morning prayers, so she must have realized we were gone a long time ago."
"Aha? It would be a bit awkward to tell the truth, wouldn't it? That we had nun habit cosplay sex in front of a real nun."
"Right? No matter how you look at it, that's a bit much to say, isn't it?"
After sharing a round of giggles, I spoke.
"It's not good to lie completely, so let's just say we went for a night walk. If we give a vague explanation, she'll probably get the hint."
"Okay. Let's go with that."
She already knew what kind of relationship Fay and I had, so it would be fine.
There had been a similar misunderstanding in the intensive care unit before, too.
Having coordinated our stories, we arrived at the carriage.
First, I laid Fay down on the bed, as her legs were still weak and she couldn't stand properly.
After that, I soothed the other women who were pouting with jealousy and fed Iona her daily dose of blood while I was at it.
Finally, I went to greet Helena, who had finished her morning prayers.
"L-Lord? Why? Why do you not respond...?"
Helena stood before the sun-shaped carving, the symbol of the Righteous Light, with a look of utter bewilderment.
The medallion in her hand was flickering with light.
As if someone far away was agonizing over something.
