How the Hell Did You Wash Up Here?
High school grudges burned hot in my chest—I wanted to fuck those bitches right now—but figuring out how they'd washed up here took priority.
"That... cough!"
Baek Jin-ah hacked like her throat was parched. I tossed a PET bottle filled with fresh water in front of her.
"Drink."
"Th-thank you...."
Hearing Baek Jin-ah apologize—something I'd only fantasized about for years. No matter how it happened, it sounded damn good.
She gulped it down and passed it to Lee Seo-hee, who snapped that she wasn't drinking anything filthy and tore into her for it. Even someone with a sky-high ego should grovel when their life's on the line. But Lee Seo-hee still acted like the world revolved around her. I liked that—it meant she hadn't changed.
Anyway, listing every evil deed from Baek Jin-ah shivering beside her or Lee Seo-hee would take forever, but one incident stuck out above the rest.
Second semester of freshman year, a student teacher on practicum warned Lee Seo-hee for using her phone in class. The teacher knew she was the spoiled youngest daughter of a famous legal family and was just trying to keep some dignity. But Lee Seo-hee hated anyone nagging her. She chucked her phone, grabbed the teacher's hair, and slapped her face raw.
Then she knocked the teacher down, stomped her mercilessly, hurled chairs—straight-up excessive violence. The only one who could've stopped that psycho was her classmate Baek Jin-ah, but unfortunately, it was practice match day, so no one dared step in. Intervene, and you'd be taking the fallen teacher's spot up front for sure.
Luckily, Baek Jin-ah showed up right after practice ended and told her to quit it, calming the assault just barely.
It was headline-level shock value nationwide, but Lee Seo-hee's family wasn't ordinary. The whole thing got buried—no local news on teacher abuse or anything. Rumors flew through the grapevine afterward, but Lee Seo-hee just swaggered out of school like always.
"Hey, yellow-headed bitch."
"Me? What?"
I snatched the PET bottle Baek Jin-ah was drinking from, dumped it over her head, and before she could scream bloody murder, smashed the empty bottle on her soaked blonde dome.
Caught off guard, Lee Seo-hee shrieked, but I beat that yellow skull without mercy.
"St-stop, stop it already...! I-I'm sorryyy...!"
"One more peep outta that mouth, and next time I crack your fucking skull. Got it? Fuck, answer me!"
I raised the crumpled bottle again, and only then did "sorry" finally spill from Lee Seo-hee. She hid behind Baek Jin-ah, swallowing sobs in a voice stuffed with bottled rage. That humiliating sight nearly gave me a real hard-on, but I knew now wasn't the time. I let out a long sigh.
"You two the only ones?"
"Huh? Oh, other friends... hic! Th-there are... "
"Speak straight."
"Y-yes, hic...."
Baek Jin-ah clamped her mouth shut but still hiccupped. Lee Seo-hee twisted away to avoid my eyes.
Watching the two prime culprits who'd ruined my school life and forced me to drop out—now showing faces I'd never seen before because of me—stirred a twisted thrill.
Part of me wanted to savor it longer, but their drift story and if there were more mattered more.
"Me and Baek-chin were on a yacht when..."
Lee Seo-hee, peeking from behind trembling Baek Jin-ah, spoke up. I clocked the lie instantly—no gut feeling, just knowledge. I'd been Lee Seo-hee's shuttle for two high school years. She was a psycho, but sometimes she'd flash those pathetic victim eyes to milk sympathy and slither out. Classic.
Plus, Baek Jin-ah had said "friends" plural before hiccuping. Three faces and names from their crew popped up easy. If those fuckers drifted here too? Perfect. But probably not. Still, surviving to wash up on this island? I was hiding how fucking ecstatic I felt. If that day came, I'd lose my mind in joy I couldn't even describe.
I tamped down the fire raging inside and eyed the sly liar Lee Seo-hee and Baek Jin-ah.
I wanted to tell them: I'm Lee Seong-un, the shuttle you bitches used for two years. But they wouldn't remember. I'd never forget, but tormenting nobodies like me was routine for them.
So even if they didn't know who I was, I wanted to remind them—and those other fuckers—what they'd done. Through that "friendship test game" they'd rounded up kids for when they were bored.
"Baek-chin. Let's kill that fucker."
Back at the beach on Lee Seong-un's orders to pick usable trash, Baek Jin-ah heard Lee Seo-hee's cold murder talk amid the killer heat and almost told her not to stir shit—but sighed instead.
"Don't you remember first sight? He blocked everything I threw with that stick. Just hold out till rescue."
"I've got a plan, so listen."
Lee Seo-hee, dead set on murder, pitched a dumbass scheme: wait till he slept and strike. Baek Jin-ah countered: tie us up before bed, done. Lee Seo-hee bit her nails and cursed low.
"Fuck. Then what... Oh, you bait him with your body, I smash his skull with a rock?"
"...You serious?"
Betrayed by the body-bait plan, Baek Jin-ah scoffed.
"Not really do it—just fake it."
"You brought it up, you do it. And I'm stronger anyway."
"Common sense: you're the threat to that psycho. Use your head for once. He'd never buy me as a distraction. That's why you lose like a retard every match."
Baek Jin-ah's patience frayed at Lee Seo-hee's arrogant mockery.
"Lee Seo-hee. Next time you spew shit in front of me, filter it through your skull first. Before I smash your jaw."
Her words, from a pro volleyball starter, carried terror—but to her long-time friend, crazier than a thug, it bounced off.
"Baek-chin. When have you ever lost listening to me? Never. So swallow your pride this once."
Already boiling in equatorial swelter, Baek Jin-ah's head throbbed harder from this clueless rampage.
"...Isn't it just luck if the others are here, or play nice till rescue? That hard?"
"Fuck. Friends do shit together when one says go, right?"
Baek Jin-ah rationally refused nice, but Lee Seo-hee shamelessly dragged friendship into it, blind to the courtesy.
Her folks, siblings—all smart. Why's this bitch brain-dead? Spoiled rotten as the baby?
Baek Jin-ah let Lee Seo-hee's one-sided pitch—dump bad stuff on others, claim good for herself—slide in one ear as she watched Lee Seong-un check the fish trap by the rocks.
Money swayed people best, but useless till escape—who knew when. No appeal here.
Wish he was some withered guy—easy takedown.
Baek Jin-ah had a killer eye for people. Sports star family meant rubbing with elites young; she instinctively sniffed true "strong ones."
Lee Seong-un looked alien, unmatched. Elite players were farmed; he was wild-caught pure. Five years forged a bizarre, perfect body beyond her norms. Optimized for survival, primal chill you'd never see modern. The second she tried overpowering him, she'd cross into irreversible ruin—she sensed it raw.
"Hey, Baek-chin. Ignoring me? Huh?"
Lee Seo-hee, raised like the world was hers, whined like a five-year-old, blind to Baek Jin-ah's worry.
"I saved your ass begging Mom and Dad. Bite the hand that feeds?"
"Fuck, I said filter your head."
Baek Jin-ah's massive hand gripped Lee Seo-hee's crown whole. Bigger, harder than most men's—crushing pressure.
"Aaaagh!! Let go! Aaaaagh!!"
"And this mess? You got drunk, drove the boat."
Baek Jin-ah flung wriggling Lee Seo-hee to the sand like trash. Without looking back, she headed beachward, scavenging driftwood to score points with Lee Seong-un somehow.
"...Ha. Fuck. That thick-skulled bitch bulked up."
Ego crushed, Lee Seo-hee dropped her sand handful and fake-laughed in disbelief. But she held back. No full rift with useful bait-friend Baek Jin-ah now, rescue unknown.
Glared at Lee Seong-un checking the trap, resentment from hours ago bubbling: spear toss that nearly pissed her, water dump escalating to bottle bash.
Too long till night. Bad thoughts crept in.
Baek Jin-ah, far off post-fight to avoid drama. Perfect chance, Lee Seo-hee thought, sneaking to Lee Seong-un by the rocks lifting the trap.
"Um, hey."
"What?"
"Me and Baek-chin... I mean, the girl picking trash over there—we talked...?"
"Get to the point."
Lee Seong-un cut her off condescendingly; rage flared, but she buried it, casting her bait.
"My friend wants a round with you. Interested?"
His haughty gaze softened slyly. She primed the hook.
"Sex. Sex. She loves getting railed like rape by a tall guy."
Even in danger, she always positioned safe, using friends like chess pieces. Classic sociopath.
But she overlooked one thing.
"Hey, tall bitch! Get over here!!"
Lee Seong-un's low, heavy voice boomed. Baek Jin-ah sprinted from afar.
"Huh? No, talk to me first..."
"Fastest way to check if your 'friend' really craves my dick like you say? Ask her myself."
It didn't work on him—high school vet of worse, already knowing her game.
