The Girl in the Mirror
In my previous life, I was a sturdy young man from South Korea, just an ordinary everyman clocking in at a desk job and unwinding after work with games or webnovels, chasing those little slices of happiness. IsekaI reincarnation tales were a particular favorite—sudden death followed by rebirth in another world, or kicking off a fresh start with all my old memories intact. Truth be told, I'd daydreamed about it once or twice. But that was as far as it went: pure fantasy. Common sense dictated that nothing so wild would ever happen to me.
However.
Judging by my current predicament, that impossible nonsense has actually come true.
I slowly turned to the mirror in front of me.
Reflected there was a little girl who couldn't have graduated elementary school yet. Black hair framing green eyes. A delicate little face on a slender frame, with locks cascading down to her shoulders.
And as I moved, so did she—perfectly in sync.
"…Hoo."
A brief sigh slipped out.
The girl in the mirror was named Ryu Yeon-hwa. The name of this child staring back at me. The name I'd been reborn with in this world.
