At first it had been all interest and support for Irene — the Hunter Association's new mascot, an A-rank with the unusual Magical Girl ability. Everything she did pulled people toward hope; it was the perfect image for a magical girl.
Then a massive boss monster appeared and put both her and the Black Market in crisis. What flipped the whole situation was the EX-rank ability user's summons.
The sight of them cleaning up that enormous boss monster with a single blow was pure shock and awe. Because of that, not only the Hunter Gallery but major guilds, conglomerates, and even the Hunter Association — the heart of the hunter world — plunged back into emergency mode.
While another wave of upheaval was spreading because of my summons, I — the center of it all — didn't think much of it. No matter how many people lost their minds, all I had to do was keep walking my own path.
"Master! Mission complete and we're back~ Awooong~"

I had ordered late-night snacks and was browsing the world's reactions when the two summons arrived.

A reward that was torment? I couldn't begin to understand what went on inside Iris's head. Half-joking, I let the first thing that popped into my mind come out without filtering it.
"Then tonight you don't sleep in bed — you get bound and restrained against the wall?"
Iris's eyes went round. Those wavering blue irises were a bonus. Right. No matter how much she liked pain, this kind of pain had to be a no, right?
"Haaeung... Hauut...! Guide... how can you offer such an excessive reward... Just thinking about it makes my body... hiiit...!"

I let them eat most of the chicken first, then poured cola for them and asked.

Good — things had gone smoothly.
"But what the hell was that monster?"
Luna had stepped in at just the right moment of crisis. If she had jumped in from the start, she would have drawn even more attention than the Magical Girl the Hunter Association was currently pushing.
"I don't know! We finished converting everything into money like Master said and came out, then the road suddenly got swallowed by darkness."
"It was an exchange? A currency-conversion place? The building was solid, so we had no idea anything was happening outside, you know?"
Hearing the explanation straight from the two who had been there, I roughly understood the situation and nodded. If not for the sudden dungeon manifestation, they would have simply sold the valuables and come home. The accidental dungeon incident had put them in the spotlight all over again.
