Hiiing... There's Too Much Work...
"Hiiing.... There's too much work.... Hiiing...."
"President. You've repeated that exact complaint over a hundred times now."
"Hwa-ryun, calling me President... isn't that a little too stiff?"
"We are currently working. As the president of Korea Vision, please maintain your dignity. For your husband's sake as well."
"...Since we're working, shouldn't you be calling him Kang-hyun? You call me President, after all."
"....Brother-in-law is brother-in-law."
"I'm your sister before I'm the president!"
"You are the president before you are my sister."
"In the first place, I'm the president, so why do you call my husband brother-in-law!"
"Because brother-in-law is not an employee of our company."
"....Back when he was still the studio president, I could understand it. But our husband... has now become the successor of National One, placing him at a higher rank than us, you know...?"
"It is not official. Not yet."
"Haa... that's true. But even though it's unofficial, he's so busy... I miss him. It's been far too long since I last saw him. Hiiing~."
"A month is not that long, sister."
"...You wouldn't know because you're not married, but when you love someone, a single month can feel like an eternity, Hwa-ryun."
"...I am also brother-in-law's wife, you realize."
"I'm the legal wife! Hmph~"
"...This woman really knows how to get under my skin."
"...What did you just say?"
"I said nothing."
"...I'm starting to feel like your respect for your older sister is vanishing."
"Perish the thought. I hold the P-R-E-S-I-D-E-N-T in the highest regard."
"You little brat! That tone doesn't sound respectful at all!"
In the president's office of a company leading Korea's game industry, the air was filled with conversation and complaints that sounded anything but presidential.
Korea Vision. A subsidiary of National One, one of the most powerful corporations in Korea—no, the world—and the developer and distributor of Changcheon Murim, the game that had ignited the virtual reality craze across the country.
The president of this company, Jung Su-a, was the sole daughter of National One's chairman, Jung Dae-woon. She led Korea Vision, while her half-sister, Jung Hwa-ryun, served as her secretary.
Together with their husband, Yoo Kang-hyun, they had won a monumental bet against Jung Dae-woon, the owner and chairman of National One. As a result, Kang-hyun had become the official successor.
Chairman Jung Dae-woon had refused to accept his daughter's marriage to an unknown nobody. He had deployed every possible method to tear Kang-hyun and Su-a apart. Jung Hwa-ryun had been one of those methods.
He had ordered her to seduce Kang-hyun. The outcome had been the complete opposite. Above all, Su-a had learned that Hwa-ryun was one of the people sacrificed because of Jung Dae-woon, and she had accepted her sister with open arms.
But one day, while Jung Dae-woon waited for news of Kang-hyun's death after commissioning his assassination, Kang-hyun had broken through every trap, pressed a blade to the chairman's throat, and issued a chilling threat.
In that moment, Jung Dae-woon had realized Kang-hyun was the same kind of man as himself. A beast. Someone who could never be tamed, who would never submit to another, uncontrollable yet irresistibly captivating.
After that incident, Jung Dae-woon had made a proposal. In the virtual reality game Changcheon Murim, they would wage a faction war. If Kang-hyun emerged victorious, he would acknowledge him as Su-a's rightful partner.
Kang-hyun had accepted. Alongside his women, he had won the bet.
Though countless obstacles and trials had stood in their way, Kang-hyun, Su-a, Hwa-ryun, Cindy, and Yu-ran had ultimately crushed Jung Dae-woon's faction, the Reverse Heaven Society, and defeated the chairman himself.
Thus, Kang-hyun had become Jung Dae-woon's successor and entered the rigorous training required to inherit National One.
A year had passed since then. The constant fear of separation and Jung Dae-woon's interference had finally vanished from Su-a's life, but a new problem had taken their place. That problem was...
"This time and the last time too—staying for just one week before disappearing for over three months! Does that make any sense? At this rate, we're all going to get spiderwebs down there! You, Yu-ran, Cindy, and me! Uwaang~!"
"Sigh~ Sister. I understand how difficult it is. But as you said, Cindy, Yu-ran, and I are suffering just as much. Shouldn't we all endure this together?"
"...Hwa-ryun, yesterday in your room I heard you calling out for our husband while you were touching yourself..."
"?! H-how did you—?!"
"I was heading to the bathroom at dawn.... Hehe."
"It is proper manners to pretend you didn't witness such things, sister!"
"What are you saying! You're lonely too, so stop scolding me for showing it when you do the exact same thing!"
"I was not scolding you! More importantly, the fact that we are all struggling is true, is it not!"
The argument between Su-a and Hwa-ryun grew progressively louder. Fortunately, the president's office was heavily soundproofed and the approach corridor was long, ensuring no one outside could overhear.
There were, however, exceptions.
Clatter.
"Hello~ Su-a! Hwa-ryun!"
"Cindy?!"
Su-a and Hwa-ryun were startled by Cindy's sudden entrance into the president's office. She was supposed to be at her workplace at this hour.
Cindy Macglen. A former CIA agent and now an administrative employee at the CIA's Korean branch. A talented American woman who had met Kang-hyun during one of his overseas trips when he became entangled in a certain incident. She had confessed her feelings to him, received Su-a's permission, and become his woman. Although she lived with Kang-hyun, Su-a, Hwa-ryun, and Yu-ran, she still commuted to the CIA.
"Su-a, your voice was carrying all the way down the hallway. What if the employees hear you?"
"S-sorry. I got a little too worked up...."
"Well, the entire floor is the president's office, so it's not a major issue, but we should still be careful. It's unusual to hear Hwa-ryun raising her voice too. What's going on?"
"...It's obvious. It's about brother-in-law."
"....Sigh. As expected."
"Hiiing. Cindy~!"
Plop. Squish, squish.
Su-a threw herself into Cindy's arms, burying her face in the woman's voluptuous chest as she began pouring out her grievances.
"Isn't he being too cruel? Leaving such beautiful women behind while he gallivants around outside! He doesn't even call every single day! He barely does video calls anymore either! Ueng~!"
"There, there. It's okay. You're alright, Su-a."
Enveloped in the soft, comforting sensation of Cindy's massive breasts, Su-a gradually calmed down as she vented her frustrations. The pleasant feeling helped soothe her emotions.
Even so, her longing and slight resentment toward Kang-hyun refused to disappear completely.
After finishing her rant and pulling away from Cindy, Su-a sat down, let out a long sigh, and apologized.
"I'm sorry. Both Hwa-ryun and I raised our voices because we missed him so much. Thanks to you, I feel a bit calmer now. Thank you. But what brings you here at this hour? Shouldn't you still be at the CIA?"
"The branch chief sent everyone home early today. He said the flu and coronavirus are making a comeback, so we should head home and get our vaccinations."
"Ah, that's right. It has been flaring up again lately."
"Yes. Since I finished early, I wanted to see you and Hwa-ryun. I tried contacting Yu-ran, but... she didn't answer."
"Senior must be extremely busy these days. I don't know the details, but I heard the game National One was developing internally has reached its final stages."
"Hehe~ I'm looking forward to it. National One created Changcheon Murim and so many other games. I wonder how incredible their next title will be? It's their first new release since Changcheon Murim, right?"
"Correct, Cindy. We only learned about it after winning the bet against Chairman Jung. The fact that it's being developed directly by National One rather than Korea Vision shows how much care they're investing. I don't know the specifics either since it's classified information...."
"I miss those days... A year ago we were so absorbed playing Changcheon Murim with him that we barely had time to breathe. Now we're all so busy that it's been ages since any of us touched a game."
"It can't be helped. We did everything we could to help brother-in-law secure his position. Well, since we're from Korea Vision and not National One, there was a limit to our influence."
"Still, Su-a, things have settled down considerably now, haven't they? It's much better than the old days when you'd leave in the morning and not return for several days. Though... Kang-hyun's situation is still overwhelmingly busy, which remains a problem."
"...Hiiing."
At the mention of Kang-hyun, Su-a's mood sank once more. Cindy and Hwa-ryun realized their mistake too late, but there was little they could do except comfort her.
"Don't be so sad, Su-a. Thanks to Kang-hyun's victory, we're able to live this happily, aren't we?"
"That's correct, sister. We no longer need to worry about Chairman Jung's interference, and above all, brother-in-law has received formal recognition. This is merely a temporary trial. Surely the days when we can all be together again will return soon."
"Haa... thank you, Cindy. Thank you, Hwa-ryun. I'm sorry. As Hwa-ryun said, it seems I was the only one openly showing how hard this is for me. I'll compose myself from now on."
"I understand. Please don't apologize. I threw just as much of a tantrum."
"Hehe, it looks like everything's settled. In that case, Su-a, Hwa-ryun—since we're all together, why don't the three of us grab something delicious before heading home?"
"Hehe, that sounds wonderful, Cindy. Hwa-ryun, it's still a bit early to leave, but let's head out a little sooner today. We don't have any other appointments, do we?"
"No. There are no scheduled visitors, and the remaining tasks can wait until tomorrow. Let's leave for the day."
Su-a, Cindy, and Hwa-ryun wrapped up their conversation and prepared to head home. They were savoring their happy moments together. Of course, that happiness would soon encounter a dramatic change.
