The Weight of a Name
Even without testing it, the skill description alone reeked of overpowered potential. To understand it as thoroughly as possible before moving forward, I read the explanation over and over again.
“If I’m going to do this, I’m doing it right.”
I was a shut-in who found almost everything except sex and gaming a hassle, but once I started something, I always saw it through to the end. I valued myself too much to make a stupid choice and waste the options given to me at a critical crossroads. So I studied the description and began sketching a mental blueprint for how I would use the skill to grow the cult.
“First, let me summarize the skill…”
Compared to before the class change, three major things had shifted.
First, besides sex and flexing, there was now one more reliable source of income. Once I raised a follower’s obedience above 100, every additional point would net me 100 million won.
Second, my sex had become invincible and my semen had turned divine. The description claimed that whenever a woman orgasmed during sex with me, she would experience a mystical revelation. I still wasn’t sure what that revelation would feel like, but I understood the chain reaction: orgasm led to mystical experience, which led to rising obedience. In other words, making a woman climax would directly increase her obedience—and that obedience could be converted into money.
More importantly, my semen had transformed into something like an elixir. It could heal people, awaken talents, improve appearance, and even slow aging. The only catch was that those who didn’t receive it would suffer withdrawal or intense thirst. To me, that wasn’t a penalty at all. It was a perfect tool for raising obedience. By controlling the supply, I could keep my cute little cultists desperate and obedient.
And third—brainwashing. This was straight-up cheating. I didn’t know how powerful or far-reaching it would be, but the mere fact that brainwashing was possible changed everything. In the most extreme scenario, I could kidnap and rape a woman, force her into the cult, use orgasms and semen-induced thirst to jack her obedience sky-high, then spend that obedience to permanently brainwash her so she could never escape. That would be the perfect crime.
“Kidnapping, rape… I don’t actually need to commit crimes and take unnecessary risks, but the fact that the option even exists is broken.”
A surge of exhilaration rose in my chest. The scale had exploded after the class change. At this point, money itself was no longer the issue. That didn’t mean money was unimportant—just that it had become merely one of many basic tools for expanding the cult. My ultimate goal was to raise countless followers, push their obedience to the limit, and build my own cult, my own kingdom. I was standing at the very starting line.
“Huu…”
I took a deep breath and forced the boiling excitement down. I couldn’t afford to get careless. The dazzling future I had imagined was still far away, and the path would be anything but easy. The larger my influence grew, the more resistance I would face from every direction. Organizations that smelled money might try to sink their claws in, and the state itself could start monitoring me. The new Pope skills were powerful, but opposing massive authority required serious preparation. One wrong move and I could go from wildly successful cult leader to prison inmate overnight.
“Calm down. Calm down. Just walk the tightrope…”
I steadied myself and kept tapping the screen. So far, only the new Pope-exclusive skills had appeared. Information about how my existing skills had changed or been strengthened still hadn’t shown up.
Existing abilities are being converted and enhanced into Pope-exclusive skills.
[Sex Status Window] → [Pope’s Window]
[Pope’s Window] Description: An essential window for managing the cult and its followers.
[Sex Wheel Eye] → [Pope’s Insight]
[Pope’s Insight] Description: When activated, it reveals individuals suited to become followers. It can also locate special locations and items beneficial to the cult’s prosperity.
[Hand of God] → [Leader’s Aura]
[Leader’s Aura] Description: An aura constantly radiates from the Pope’s body. Followers feel mental and physical stability simply by being near it, increasing their obedience and entering a state of arousal. The aura also infuses bodily fluids, skin flakes, and secretions, and can be imbued into objects. Using Pope’s Insight allows one to see the aura’s true form.
“…So the biggest change is with Hand of God?”
Pope’s Window and Pope’s Insight felt intuitive even without testing. Their usage seemed almost identical to the old skills. The real transformation was in the aura that had replaced Hand of God. The ability to imbue objects with aura was especially intriguing.
“I could probably create holy relics… That would make obedience grinding way easier.”
I began thinking of smart ways to utilize the Leader’s Aura. The most obvious application was mass obedience farming. Buy some decorative item, stuff it full of aura to turn it into a holy relic, then ship replicas to cult branches across the country. Followers would gain obedience just by being near the relics. The aura’s versatility was enormous precisely because it didn’t require my direct involvement.
“Okay. That’s how I’ll use the aura… Is that everything?”
Tick. Tick. No more messages appeared no matter how many times I tapped. I committed the changed skill descriptions to memory, returned to the app’s main screen, and activated Pope’s Window. The description had called it “essential,” so it seemed like the first thing I should check.
[Pope’s Window]
• Cult Management
• Follower Management
“Should I check Follower Management first? I’m curious about my sex partners’ obedience levels… Ah, I wonder if Jeonghye has become a follower yet?”
So far, I had slept with four women: Mihyun, Yeonju, Sieun, and Hemi. All four were probably registered as followers. The question mark was Jeonghye, whom I had only been in a situationship with. Since I hadn’t checked her status window, I didn’t know if she had crossed the 50 obedience threshold required to become a follower.
Tick.
I tapped the “Follower Management” button.

“Follower Aptitude, huh. Interesting. And 97 obedience…? Yeonju really is a legend… Still, Mihyun noona’s 81 is pretty high too.”
Yeonju’s number was overwhelming, but Mihyun noona’s 81 was still impressive. After all, she had betrayed the husband she loved so much today and become my personal bitch. Eighty seemed to represent the level of obedience where someone viewed another person as the single most special and precious existence in their life.
“I’ve seen everything I need to see… Now then…”
I swiped away from Follower Management and opened Cult Management.

“A cult name…? It’s already this difficult from the start…”
I was stumped. Naming things had always been one of my weakest skills. I knew this from painful experience. Every game began with choosing a nickname. Only after filling that empty space did the character truly come alive. Giving something a name was no different from breathing life into it. The easy route felt wrong. I could slap something together without thought, but then I wouldn’t feel attached. The more effort I poured into a nickname, the more attached I became and the more motivated I was to raise the character. If that was true for a game character, how much more important was it for the name of my future cult that would shake the world?
The sudden pressure made my shoulders slump.
“Minjun Cult…? No, that’s way too lame. Then how about The World Is Money and Women Cult…? Too long…”
I agonized over it. I had no choice. Never before had I resented my own pathetic creativity this much. Minjun Cult, MJ Cult, Min Cult, Jun Cult, Sex Cult, Flex Cult, Money Cult, Holy Sex Cult… Only crude, simple names floated through my head.
“Wait. Holy Sex Cult…? That’s not bad…”
Holy Sex Cult. A clever double meaning—both sexually sacred and divinely sacred. The sudden discovery of such high-level wordplay made me feel inspired. But I suppressed the rising impulse. I had been burned too many times by impulsive naming decisions made in the heat of the moment. Even if it looked cool now, I had a bad feeling it would seem trashy tomorrow.
“No. This isn’t it. Holy Sex Cult is out.”
The more I thought about it, the more certain I became. From news comments and online communities, I knew people’s sense of humor was always lower than I expected. They wouldn’t appreciate the sophisticated pun and would just make crude jokes about “holy sex” all day.
“What? Holy Sex Cult? So do we just go there and have holy sex? Hahaha!”
They would mock it exactly like that. And the most infuriating part was that I wouldn’t even be able to refute the lowbrow joke—because we really would be having sex.
“Fuck… This is ridiculous. Ugh, so annoying.”
Irritation flared up suddenly. Maybe because I had been living without major worries lately, this kind of stressful situation itself pissed me off. I forcibly changed the direction of my thoughts. No matter how important the name was, obsessing over it to the point of mental exhaustion wasn’t good.
“Yeah. What’s on the outside doesn’t matter that much. As long as the inside is solid and full, that’s enough.”
After all, the Pope was a living god who could squeeze out elixir from his dick. The cult name could be whatever; it wouldn’t matter. Followers would come for the Pope’s massive, majestic cock, not some flashy name.
Tick. Tick-tick-tick-tick.
I pressed firmly on the empty cult name field to bring up the keyboard and moved my fingers quickly.
[Minjun Cult]
Confirm this cult name?
(Yes / No)
Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick-tick-tick-tick.
“What the hell, why won’t it press?”
Simple is best. I had tried to finish the naming as straightforwardly as possible, but the “Yes” button refused to respond. My heart skipped a beat, wondering if something was broken, but every other function worked fine.
“…”
After a moment of thought, I activated the keyboard again and tried a different name.
[Holy Sex Cult]
Confirm this cult name?
(Yes / No)
Tick. Tick. Tick-tick-tick-tick.
“This one won’t work either. Hmm. Maybe it doesn’t like it…?”
At this point, it felt like some mysterious force from above was preventing me from giving the cult a trashy name. No matter how many times I pressed, confirmation never came through.
“Damn it… I’m already stuck on the first quest…? Me, the god of semen?”
My ambition was to create the world’s largest cult, yet I couldn’t even decide on a name. Anxiety began creeping in.
“Huu~ Don’t stress. If the system won’t approve it anyway, it’s all pointless. I’ll just throw out whatever comes to mind.”
I emptied my mind and began stuffing random words into the name field. In more sophisticated terms, it was a brainstorming session.
Tick—.
“Huh…?”
I had been blankly typing whatever words popped into my head when, suddenly, the confirmation that had refused to appear finally went through. Because I had been half out of my mind while spitting out words, I had no idea what name had actually been accepted. I hurriedly opened the Cult Management window to check the final approved cult name.
