Chapter 24: Exterminating the Jinsang
Liria had only lived in Eleas so far. Therefore, she had not yet met any bad humans, but through history education, she knew that there were many bad people among humans. She also knew that most causes of wars were from humans.
"Right. There is no race that divides good and evil as dramatically as humans."
"You humans like you are good, but there are quite a lot of humans on the opposite side. I've met countless humans so far and know them well."
"When running the store, there are sometimes malicious customers."
"I hope that such customers will never come."
Park Dahye shivered at the thought of the jinsang she had met when she was working part-time. There were humans filled with malice to the point that one couldn't even think they were the same kind of human. Especially those jinsang who got drunk and caused trouble. The memories of suffering in her heart because of those jinsang while working in service were imprinted.
Liria didn't need to think about what to do. It was simply to make it like the Elf Cafe in Eleas.
"This will be installed."
Liria took something out of her spatial pocket and showed it to everyone, and they all watched. Liria was expecting to see what strange magic tool she would show this time.
Silvia explained in Liria's place.
"This Good and Evil Detector is installed in the Elf Cafe in Eleas, and if a bad human enters, an alarm will ring, and a red light will shine on that human."
"Then, can we prevent them from entering the cafe?"
"We can't prevent them from entering, but we can immediately recognize them from afar. But jinsang don't care about such things at all."
"As expected, jinsang are jinsang."
"So, we check with the Good and Evil Detector and directly expel them."
"Even royalty and nobles?"
"Even royalty or nobles can't do as they please with elves. We dragons have their backs for elves."
"Ah, I see."
Kim Gayoung learned how the Elf Cafe in Eleas was operated. A cafe protected by dragons, there couldn't be jinsang. Moreover, the jinsang that occasionally appear can be immediately noticed with the Good and Evil Detector. If there was a jinsang-free cafe like that, Park Dahye would surely have a pleasant day every day.
"The red light that distinguishes with the Good and Evil Detector can really be seen as an irredeemably evil human."
"Is that so?"
"I heard that there was even a noble human who held a knife to the staff of the Elf Cafe and demanded coffee."
"The staff who are not elves, treating them like that."
"Yes. Since they can't do it directly to elves, they caused trouble to the staff when there were no elves. It was the trigger for developing the Good and Evil Detector, and it has led to this."
"I see."
"Those humans with red lights, I will expel them right away."
Silvia helped Liria by putting her arm under Liria's and lifting her up. With Silvia's help, Liria installed the Good and Evil Detector above the door. After installation, Liria came down with a happy expression. And she finished installing it around the kiosk as well.
"It's done."
"Truly a revolution."
"If there is this, the stress of receiving jinsang will disappear."
"Frankly, if it was another cafe, they would be scolded for being picky with customers, but this Elf Cafe has no alternative, so good people will come a lot."
"Legally, there is no problem, so as long as only good customers come, there will be no problem."
"Later, there might be content about passing the Good and Evil Detector among YouTubers. It's a way to prove one's personality."
"That looks fun."
They were looking forward to the daily life at the cafe starting tomorrow.
"By the way, the Good and Evil Detector also rings an alarm even for those with blue lights like you and Hong Doowon."
"Ah, there is such a function too."
"Make those people special customers."
"Good idea. It seems like we can make those customers regulars."
Kim Gayoung wanted a society where good people are rewarded. Lee Nami felt a bit uneasy about being picky with customers, but if she thought about being rewarded for living well so far, it was okay. Every time Park Dahye heard that she would suffer by living well, she felt too sad. When she thought about what she had gone through so far, it might be true. But she never regretted living well, and when she met Liria, she received her reward in an instant. They were ready to do anything for Liria.
Silvia watched Liria nodding repeatedly. Silvia hugged Liria and went to the sofa. And laid Liria on her lap and stroked her.
"Liria seems sleepy."
"Having crossed the world, I used a lot of mana, and I've been traveling a lot."
"Yes. I momentarily forgot."
"Liria had never been short of mana even once in Eleas, but it seems that crossing the world is a big burden for Liria as well."
"The way she is sleeping is really cute. She looks like a complete angel."
"So lovable."
"I want to lie on her lap too."
They all had happy expressions looking at Liria. Now, they had vowed to work hard for their boss Liria.
Liria woke up from sleep, and when it was time to return, she returned to Eleas with Silvia. She had said that she would share all the food she bought on Earth with everyone, so the family and dragons were waiting for Liria. Even for dragons who had lived for thousands of years, they couldn't hold back their curiosity about the food from another world.
"Liria, you're here?"
"Yes, Mom."
"Liria, Silvia, both come quickly."
"Yes, Father."
"Yes, Uncle."
Liria's father Renos spoke to Liria with a nonchalant tone, pretending not to care. He wanted to run over and hug Liria immediately upon seeing her after a long time. In reality, it hadn't been days since he last saw her, but those days felt long to Renos. But since it was a situation with Ancient-grade dragons gathered, he had to hold back.
Because Liria was sharing the food she brought from Earth, she invited Ancient-grade dragons among the dragons. The dragons were curious about the Earth food that Liria brought.
"Liria. Welcome."
"Liria. Welcome."
"Yes. Big brother. Little brother."
Leos and Reus, Liria's older brothers, greeted Liria with welcoming words. It was the moment when the whole family gathered after a long time.
"Grandma, Grandpa, say hello too."
"Yes. Liria."
"Aigoo. Our cute Liria."
"Come here, Liria."
"Our little cutie has come."
Since all the dragons were gathered, Liria greeted everyone. The dragons treasured Liria like a granddaughter, and Liria called those dragons Grandpa and Grandma and followed them well.
"Ooh, Liria is here. As expected, so cute."
"Hello. Uncle Salion."
"Calling me uncle, but I'm still a hatchling."
"A perfect uncle for you."
"If I'm an uncle, then you are."
"What?"
"Ah, no."
"It's a joke. Oppa Salion."
"Thank you. Liria. Call me oppa."
Salion, the only Red Dragon hatchling who came, was overjoyed to see Liria. All hatchlings wanted to come, but because of the Ancient dragons who said only one could come, only one could come. He was a hatchling of similar age to Silvia, and Liria was very cute to him. Silvia was very displeased with him. Liria was her precious younger sister, and she didn't want her to be taken by such a rowdy man. Except for him, the other hatchlings all liked Liria very much. If they were female hatchlings, it was fine, but male hatchlings trying to get close to Liria didn't sit well. Especially Salion was the worst. The fact that Salion was the only one who took time out of his schedule to come to celebrate Liria's birthday was the best luck for Silvia. Liria had followed her very much, and Elia had allowed her to always stick close. Thanks to that, she could become friends with Liria first among the hatchlings. Silvia thought that Liria should be with her for the rest of her life. Fortunately, from Silvia's perspective, Liria didn't seem interested in men.
Liria approached Elia, and Elia hugged Liria tightly. Liria had asked Elia to gather like this today. The dragons who had lived for a long time or Liria's parents hadn't been able to find entertainment for a long time. Liria decided to give them the food from Earth to enjoy. The food from Selenia lacked seasonings and spices as much as Earth's, so it was bland. Liria knew that and searched for various seasonings and spices from Selenia, but didn't get much success. And recently, after successfully moving to Earth through space, the situation changed drastically. A chance to share with everyone was born.
