It's Not an Affair, It's Work (1)
Wednesday morning.
As Han Minah got ready for work, she stole a glance at her husband, still asleep in bed.
"Hmm..."
He always left a little later than she did, and came home quite a bit later, too. Yesterday had been no different. He'd gotten in nearly three hours after her, eaten dinner, showered, and collapsed face-first onto the bed.
...She'd wanted to do it, though.
"...But why did I want to?"
Han Minah's sex drive was neither particularly strong nor particularly weak — just ordinary. The way her libido spiked around her period was common enough among women, so the fact that the urge had hit her so hard last night was a little strange. It wasn't that time of the month.
"What is this...?"
Why, though? As she turned it over in her mind, Han Minah found her answer in the conversation she'd had with Woojin the day before.
"Ah..."
Whether she was satisfied with her sex life with her husband. She'd told Woojin no, and maybe — just maybe — talking about it had given her libido a little nudge. Of course, it hadn't been the conversation alone. She hadn't confirmed it yet, but Woojin had been so confident about his size.
She wrapped her fingers around her own wrist.
"...Thicker than this."
Han Minah gripped her wrist and tried to imagine what it would feel like if something thicker than this pushed inside her. It wasn't as if her husband was particularly small or anything... but still, he definitely hadn't been thicker than her wrist. The real problem was that they simply didn't do it often enough — the sex itself was decently satisfying. But if something thicker than that went in...
"I have to get promoted anyway..."
As she left the house for work, Han Minah found herself thinking about Woojin's confidence once more. She was unsatisfied with her sex life. Woojin had shown such confidence. To get promoted, she had to have sex with Woojin. If that was how things were anyway...
"...I wonder if Woojin has time this week?"
After I finished showering, right before we left Dayeon's place for work, I did it one more time.
"Dayeon."
"......"
I spread my arms, and Chae Dayeon came pattering over once more, sinking right into my chest. This time I didn't pick her up. Instead I bent down and buried my nose in her hair.
"Snnnnnniff..."
"I smell..."
"Haa... no. You smell really good."
I'd used the same shampoo, but the scent coming off her was different from my own hair — she clearly had a scent all her own. That faintly sweet smell had a way of soothing the shitty feeling of not wanting to go to work. If I had my way, I'd stay like this all day.
"Aren't we going to work?"
"Ah."
No choice. I left the house with Chae Dayeon and we drove to the office together. If she'd been in the same department, I would've dropped her off near the building and gone in separately. But there was no real need, so we parked together on B3 without a second thought and rode the elevator up together, too.
Ding.
The doors opened on the B2 parking level, and Han Minah's eyes went wide when she saw me. The elevator was packed, so we settled for a quick nod. She stood in front of me and snuck a glance back.
Then...
Ding.
When the elevator reached the third floor, Dayeon stepped off.
"I'm off."
"Ah — yeah. Take it easy."
"Ung~."
Han Minah watched her go. Then, once more —
Ding.
When the elevator reached the seventh floor, we got off together, and that was when Han Minah spoke up.
"...That person you said hello to just now — she's your peer from orientation, right?"
"Ah, yes, that's right. How did you remember?"
"During your new-hire orientation, your group presentation took first place. I remembered she was on the same team."
Damn. What a memory.
"So you commuted in together?"
"Huh? Ah — yes."
"Does she have a car?"
I was still reeling from her memory when Han Minah said something that should've made me flinch...
"...No, she doesn't."
"But you came in together?"
"She had an exam yesterday."
...except, why the hell should I be flinching?
"I'm supervising Dayeon, too."
"Ah, so you left together yesterday, she took the exam, and you came in together this morning."
"Yes, that's right."
Dayeon and Minah were both Intensive Management Targets anyway. I'd cooked the excuse up on the spot to keep from looking flustered, but it was actually a surprisingly practical framing. I mean, honestly...
"...There's something coming up later, Team Leader."
"Yes?"
"Among the promotion exam content you'll be taking later, there's also a team-play component."
"Team play?"
"Yes. Besides Dayeon, I have a few other people under my management right now. How well you cooperate with others matters, too."
...Threesome, foursome, or more. Why the hell not?
"That's just how company life works, right? You cooperate, and you get cooperated with."
"Well... that's true, I suppose?"
Han Minah, too. I'd dressed it up as "team play," but what she was actually hearing was that she'd be having sex with me alongside other women...
"Though if none of the other employees are ready for a team-play assignment, we might have to wait a bit."
"Ah, so it's a required assignment?"
"Yes, yes. That's right."
"If that's the case, then it can't be helped."
She just shrugged, as if it were nothing.
We talked about the promotion until we reached the office, then naturally fell silent. Me, because I'd be fucked if anyone overheard. And Han Minah, because she had to keep the promotion talk under wraps. But she still had something on her mind. She tapped my arm.
"Woojin. Just a moment."
"Ah, yes."
I'd barely set my bag down at my desk before she pulled me into the same small conference room we'd used yesterday. The moment we were inside, she shut the door.
"Hmmmmm..."
She stared at my face with a rather... peculiar expression.
"Woojin, you drink coffee, right?"
"Ah, yes. I'll make it."
"No, I'll do it."
"You made it yesterday, Team Leader. Let me get it today."
"Alright. You know I like mine extra strong, right?"
Extra strong. My mind was already going there — I immediately thought of the thick load I'd pumped into Dayeon yesterday.
"...Ah, yes. I'll make it nice and strong."
I handed her a cup of stick-brewed Americano — not instant mix — and set one down in front of myself as well.
"So... what did you want to talk about today?"
"Well... on my way to work this morning, I kept thinking about what we talked about yesterday."
"Which part?"
"My promotion exam... no, I want to earn my promotion points a little sooner. When do you think that would be possible?"
When Han Minah asked when she could take the promotion "exam," the first thing that crossed my mind wasn't here we go. It was: did something happen?
Unlike Lim Jiwoo, who needed the promotion badly enough to offer up her body, Han Minah was more like Dayeon in that regard. She'd get promoted eventually either way, so she might as well enjoy the process, right? For someone with that kind of mindset to bring this up now...
"Team Leader... you understand what it means to receive a performance evaluation score from me, right?"
"Yes. I know."
"Then do you have any idea how long it might take?"
"Hmm? At most... maybe around two hours, I'd guess?"
Fine by me. Whatever was going on with Han Minah, I already knew exactly what I was after. I didn't need to worry about any of that. All I had to think about was how to give her the score.
"Two hours won't be enough."
"...It won't?"
"No. Hmm... in that case, Team Leader."
"Yes?"
I ran through my schedule for a moment.
"Team Leader, would an overnight stay be possible?"
"It has to be... overnight?"
"Yes. It's going to take a while. Those two hours you mentioned really won't cut it, and I think it'd be more convenient all around if we just set aside a full day."
"......"
The two hours Han Minah mentioned was probably how long she figured one round would take, but thinking back to how it went with Lim Jiwoo, that wasn't even close. Coming from anyone else those words might've been nothing — but from Han Minah, they carried a slightly special meaning.
"An overnight stay... well, it shouldn't be too difficult."
"Then how about this. We meet Saturday after dinner. Or if you're alright with it, Team Leader, we could just have dinner together."
"Let's have dinner together. I'd just be eating alone at that hour anyway..."
...Eating alone?
That one comment told me exactly why she'd suddenly gotten so eager about the exam. In that case...
"I was thinking we could do it at my place. How does that sound?"
"Your place? Where is it?"
"Anyang area."
"You live alone?"
"Yes, I live alone."
"Then if you eat at home... you'd be eating alone too, wouldn't you?"
"That's right."
Han Minah thought for a moment.
"What do you like, Woojin? Or is there something you've been wanting to eat?"
"Kimchi stew... that sounds good."
"Alright then. If you want kimchi stew, and we're already going to your place... let's just cook it there together. It's not like it's hard."
She was offering to cook for me herself.
"Oh... I'd love that, Team Leader."
"Good. Then we'll meet Saturday evening, and for the time... hmm... considering everything, I should get there by six."
"I'll come pick you up, Team Leader."
"Ah, I'd appreciate that."
That seemed to be everything. Han Minah stood up first. I stood up too, expecting her to walk right out — but after a few steps, she stopped and looked back at me.
"...Woojin."
"Yes?"
"You said... you're thicker than my wrist, right?"
I wondered what else she was going to bring up.
"Yes. Thicker than your wrist, Team Leader."
"Hmmngh... and you said two hours wouldn't be enough. That we'd have to set aside a whole day."
"Yes."
"......"
She seemed curious about my specs. And sure enough...
"...How long is it?"
When she asked about the length, I held out my hand. Telling her a number wouldn't stick nearly as well as showing her.
"Team Leader, could I borrow your hand for a second?"
"Here."
Han Minah held out one hand, palm up. I cupped the back of it with one of mine.
"From here."
With my other hand I pointed at her fingertips, then slowly dragged it all the way toward her chest. My finger passed well beyond her wrist and stopped somewhere along her forearm.
"About this far."
"......"
Thicker than her own wrist. About seven and a half inches long. And it would take so long they'd have to set aside an entire day. For Han Minah, whose sexual frustration had been piling up and piling up, it was an absolutely perfect set of specs.
"...Hmmngh."
She gave her lips a little lick — then let a far stronger heat show in her eyes than anything she'd displayed in this room yesterday.
