Blueprint Mode and My First Shelter
“Blueprint?”
Han Ji-woo muttered under his breath, and a blueprint window popped up. It listed all the items he had crafted so far.
Blueprint Mode has been added.
Dungeon Weed Ring = Dungeon Weed 1/10th piece
Dungeon Weed Mat = Dungeon Weed x30
Primitive Toilet = 30cm-deep pit + Dungeon Weed
Apple Cup = Half an apple
...
Wooden Chopsticks = Branches x2
“What’s the point of this?”
Crafting Mode has been added. Opening Crafting Window.
No materials.
- Synthesis impossible
Place the required materials for the desired blueprint item into the Crafting Window.
Touch the desired material to add it.
He had to follow the instructions for now. Han Ji-woo touched a dungeon weed, aiming to craft a dungeon weed ring. Instantly, a tenth of a piece vanished and appeared in the crafting window.
Dungeon Weed 1/10th piece
- Dungeon Weed Ring synthesis possible
Han Ji-woo pressed and held the synthesis button.
One more dungeon weed ring had been added to his inventory alongside the previous ones. Now Han Ji-woo understood the utility of blueprints and the crafting window.
“So, everything I've made so far gets recorded in the blueprint, and I can craft them easily just by dropping materials into the window?”
It was a pretty convenient system.
As a first-time Crafting Window reward, five new blueprints have been added.
“Let's see how sweet this reward is.”
Han Ji-woo opened the blueprint window and scrolled down. New blueprints he hadn't made before appeared.
Bonfire = Branches x30 + Firefire Petals
Torch = Thick Branch + Dried Dungeon Weed + Firefire Petals
Mud = Soil + Water
Brick = Mud x2 + Firefire Petals
2-Pyeong Building = Bricks x100
Bonfire, torch, mud, brick, 2-pyeong building. Nothing groundbreaking, but in his situation, each one was incredibly useful.
“Hmm... Firefire petals are used in a lot of these.”
But the firefire flowers hadn't bloomed yet. Excluding those, the only thing he could make right away was mud. It wasn't immediately useful, but mud was a base material for bricks, toilets, and more. So Han Ji-woo decided to mass-produce mud first.
“About 200 should do it.”
He wasn't superhuman, so he added soil and water one by one to the crafting window to make mud. After about 50 pieces...
You've gained enough proficiency. Creation skill has been enhanced.
Mass production is now possible. Add large quantities of blueprint materials to the Crafting Window for batch crafting.
“That's more like it.”
Han Ji-woo touched the soil and thought, '250 to the crafting window.' The soil whooshed in, displaying 'Soil x250'. He did the same with 250 lake water, then hit synthesize.
“Done.”
He'd gotten 300 mud—50 more than planned, including the first batch. As Han Ji-woo admired the mud in his inventory with pride...
Nyaaaa~!
Lucy let out a long mewl.
“Lucy?”
Wondering what was up, he turned toward the sound. The flowers in front of her were blooming all at once.
“Whoa.”
Sunflowers bloomed two per stem, lavender sprouted clusters along new stalks, salvia swirled red blooms around its stem, and the mysterious firefire flowers opened wide.
Curious about the firefire flowers, Han Ji-woo hurried over to inspect them. Each petal resembled a flickering flame, bright red like burning fire.
'Come to think of it...'
Firefire petals were in many blueprints: torches, bonfires, bricks—anything fire-related.
“Is this a fire-attribute flower? That's why it's called firefire (火火)?”
Whatever the case, with the petals blooming, he dove into brick-making first. Bricks required two mud and one firefire petal.
'Plenty of mud.'
He plucked one petal. Miraculously, a new one grew in its place.
“Oh?”
Intrigued, he stripped all the petals. New ones sprouted instantly.
It seemed firefire flowers regenerated petals infinitely.
“Well, damn.”
Excited, Han Ji-woo stripped petals from both flowers nonstop. Some fell to the ground and sprouted new flowers in seconds—unlike the two-day bloom from seeds.
“What the...?”
An unbelievable flower, defying logic.
“In that case.”
He scattered the petals like confetti. Red petals fluttered down like fiery rain, and soon his surroundings were a field of firefire flowers.
“Kuhuhu.”
From two flowers to a full flowerbed through endless propagation.
With more blooms, he harvested faster. He loaded 200 mud and 100 firefire petals into the crafting window and hit synthesize.
You've gained enough proficiency. Creation skill has been enhanced.
You can now upgrade existing creations.
“Whoa~ It's leveling up fast.”
Crafting in bulk kept enhancing Creation. He'd check upgrades later. For now, he dumped all 100 bricks in one spot.
Nyaa~?
Lucy, who had watched him work, mewed curiously.
“Watch closely, Lucy. It's a bit rough, but better than nothing—a shelter for us.”
He added the 100 bricks to the crafting window.
Brick x100
- 2-Pyeong Space synthesis possible
“Okay.”
As he tapped synthesize, a holographic mini-building appeared in midair—walled on all sides with a brick ceiling, open only at one entrance.
Place the building where desired.
Gazing at a spot and thinking 'How about here?' moved the hologram there.
“Got it.”
Once he picked a spot, it materialized into a real 2-pyeong brick building.
“Holy shit.”
The power of Creation hit him anew. He rushed inside, Lucy following.
Pitch-black and crude, but having a space to call his own brought relief.
“Dirt floor, though.”
He pulled out his two-day-old weed mat and laid it down. Then the enhanced Creation kicked in.
Add Dungeon Weed Mat to 2-Pyeong Space for upgrade?
“Oh, that's the upgrade thing? Let's see.”
Not sure what would happen, but he accepted. A bright light flashed, perfectly flooring the space like linoleum.
A new blueprint appeared.
Room = 2-Pyeong Building + Dungeon Weed Mat
With flooring, it became a proper room. At 2 pyeong—about 3.3 meters square—it was fine for sleeping, with headroom to spare.
“Pretty cozy.”
Nyaa~
Lucy's happy mew matched his mood as she rubbed against his legs.
“Heh, Lucy. We got a home now!”
Nyang!
Han Ji-woo flopped onto the floor, scooping up Lucy and rolling around.
From barren wasteland to fruits, fish, water, flower fields, and now a house.
“Proud... so proud.”
The security of home lulled him. Lying still, he drifted off unnoticed.
Snooore... As he slept, Lucy climbed onto his stomach, kneaded into loaf position, yawned hugely, and joined him in slumber.
Han Ji-woo's exploits have altered the dungeon terrain. Changes shared.
The group descending from Floor 2 to Floor 3 saw the message.
“Han Ji-woo again?”
“Wonder what got shared this time. Hope it's edible.”
“No idea who it is, but we're always freeloading off them!”
People no longer saw Han Ji-woo's contributions as special—just grateful to the mystery benefactor.
Then Ferrofero appeared.
“As expected, there was an error!”
“Gah! What the—sudden much?!”
“Shh! Be quiet! Detecting a strange energy from somewhere!”
Ferrofero closed his eyes, tracing the anomalous energy. He snapped his fingers.
“Found it! Off to purge the error!”
He vanished like smoke.
“Wh-what's going on?”
“...Dunno. 'Error' probably means Han Ji-woo.”
“Whoa! Ferrofero's gonna hunt him down?”
“If Han Ji-woo goes down, no more shares! We can't let that happen...”
The crowd murmured. Mitchell urged them onward.
“Keep moving. I'm worried too, but no sharp fix.”
“...”
True. They couldn't warn or help him. Worry would just sap morale. They descended to Floor 3.
A heavy wooden door awaited at the stairs' end.
“I'll open it.”
Ishihara Yui, strongest physically among survivors, shoved it open. A vast plain stretched beyond.
“Sky!”
“Ahh, breathing room at last.”
“Suuuuck~ Ha. Suuuuck~ Ha.”
After endless enclosed spaces, open sky felt liberating. Seol Ara opened her map upon entering. Still mostly dark, but toilet, apple tree, lake were marked with icons—plus the new 2-pyeong room.
'As expected.'
Han Ji-woo's creations mirrored across floors. But what now on this plain? The quest answered.
Night of Slaughter
📍 Objective: Monsters will swarm at dusk, drawn by the scent of blood. Survive until dawn.
🎁 Rewards: Entrance to Floor 4, full wound healing, food box
The group was speechless.
Ferrofero has discovered a rift in the error.
“...Huh? What's this?”
Han Ji-woo woke, something flickering behind his closed eyes.
“Yawwwn, this damn system bugs you even in sleep...”
He froze mid-sentence. A voice echoed.
“I knew something was off! What's in here anyway?!”
“Who’s there?”
Han Ji-woo scanned warily. A dimensional rift tore open in the air.
Rrrrip—Rrrrrrip!
A cheese-tabby cat paw poked out. Ferrofero.
“Eeeeek! C-can't get in! I, Ferrofero, can't let a human break dungeon rules!”
He wanted to kill Han Ji-woo on sight but couldn't. He could only kill in the first 10 minutes after the game started. Now, other methods.
“Using an item!”
Ferrofero uses Quest Split item.
Ferrofero splits a portion of Floor 3's quest and shoves it into the error rift.
“Urk! N-no more! My arm's gonna break!”
His flailing paw retracted as the rift snapped shut.
“Errors like you deserve death—don't hate me!”
Snap—the rift sealed.
“What the hell just happened?”
A quest appeared before the bewildered Han Ji-woo.
Night of Slaughter
📍 Objective: At dusk, ten blood-scent monsters will swarm. Survive until dawn.
🎁 Rewards: ???
“Monsters swarming?!”
Panicking at the quest, another message popped up.
Hidden Space creator %$@$!#%...... Sigh.
“...?”
What? Did the system just sigh?
This absurd farce left Han Ji-woo dumbfounded.
Unable to properly display %$@$!#%'s name when mentioned. Henceforth referring to as 'Hidden Space Creator'.
“What? Is someone typing these? Who's watching me?!”
No answer—the system continued.
Hidden Space Creator's will weakens the quest. Quest modified.
