The Legend Takes Command
Choi Muhyun pretended not to notice as he loaded plates onto the barbell, only to drop one on the floor. It rolled over and crushed Yeom Sang-taek's foot.
Sa Yeonggyo burst out laughing.
"No way, are you jealous right now?"
"Jealous?"
Skyla's eyes widened, her skin flushing red. That meant she was pissed.
Sa Yeonggyo scanned Skyla's body from top to bottom.
"Hmm, this wouldn't suit you. Maybe if you worked a bit harder on that figure."
"Hey!"
Skyla's voice rose a notch.
Sa Yeonggyo flashed a grin. Uramata really is a great place. Teammates who called the Association President's granddaughter "hey" without a second thought? Yeah, this guild had it all.
"If you're really jealous, just order one yourself. Get one for Min-jeong too. Try it on once, and you'll change your mind. The design uses cutting-edge science—super comfortable."
Skyla shook her head and headed for the locker room.
After a line like that, she'd never nitpick about training gear again. Sa Yeonggyo felt satisfied as she made her way over to where Kim Jun was warming up.
Kim Jun glanced at her casually, but his eyes flickered. That's when he seemed to notice the training suit she was wearing.
"What do you think?"
Sa Yeonggyo twisted her waist into a seductive pose.
Kim Jun approached.
Of course, the guy was still a man. No one could ignore a body like hers.
Kim Jun reached out and touched her waist.
Sa Yeonggyo jolted in surprise.
This guy—why's he so bold all of a sudden? I thought he was some pure martial arts fanatic. So natural about it. His touch feels rude, but... it doesn't come off that way. Wait, is he actually super experienced?
The guildhouse fell silent.
Everyone stared at Kim Jun's hand on Sa Yeonggyo's slim waist and firm hips.
Yoo Min-jeong and Skyla, who had been heading into the locker room, froze with wide eyes, glaring daggers. Sa Yeonggyo shot them a victorious smile.
Only after running his hand up her back did Kim Jun step in front of her.
"Where'd you get this suit?"
That question deflated her. Those eyes... that attitude... she'd seen it before.
Back in the Honor Hall, before the wax dolls went berserk, Kim Jun had eyed the belt from Do Jong-man strapped to her waist.
He wasn't admiring her killer figure—he was interested in the rare item.
Same story today.
Kim Jun wasn't impressed by her curves... but by the training suit she was wearing.
"Ordered it."
"I can feel the mana. Metal attribute. Hints of fire and earth energy too."
"It's a Milano suit."
Milano was a city in Italy, but these days, it was far more famous as a manufacturer of Raider-exclusive training gear. Their suits were insanely expensive, but the quality justified every penny.
The one Sa Yeonggyo favored was from their top-tier line: the Multi-Core Training Suit.
The best thing about Multi-Core Training Suits? You could wear them inside dungeons. Like high-end underarmor, perfect for layering under other gear.
"How much for one?"
"Kinda pricey. This one's around 30 million won."
As an item, it was mid-to-low range, but unlike standard gear, training suits were consumables. That made them feel exorbitant.
"Hmm."
No surprise on his face. He knew the value.
Kim Jun crossed his arms, staring intently at her body—from shoulders and chest, down to her abs and lower—with deep contemplation.
Under that blatant gaze, even Sa Yeonggyo felt embarrassed. No man had ever looked at her like that before.
"The mid-tier line's under 10 million."
"Gotta talk to Master about it."
"So? My figure?"
"Your figure?"
Only then did Kim Jun seem to realize he'd thoroughly inspected the suit clinging to her body—and exactly where his hands had been. His face turned red, and he started stammering.
"Oh, s-sorry. I didn't mean to... got carried away."
"Nah, it's fine. Happens with teammates."
Sa Yeonggyo emphasized "it's fine" and "happens." You're welcome anytime.
She wanted to tease him more, but the guildhouse door swung open. Go Cheolmin, who'd been absent, walked in.
"Everyone doing alright?"
Sa Yeonggyo strode up confidently.
"Y-you...?"
"Hello. I'm Sa Yeonggyo, Pink Team's second buffer. Looking forward to working with you."
"Pi-Pink Team? Second buffer?"
Go Cheolmin glanced at Kim Jun.
Kim Jun just smiled and shrugged. Sa Yeonggyo liked that—no long-winded explanations.
"I decided it. You'll accept, right?"
"Y-yeah."
Go Cheolmin avoided looking at her body, especially her chest.
He cleared his throat awkwardly, scanned the Pink Team, then spoke.
"As of today, I'm stepping down as guild master. Thanks for sticking with an inadequate leader like me this far."
What the hell?
Did that old man just say what I think he said?
Is he nuts? Spouting nonsense like it's nothing.
Bombshell declaration! Sa Yeonggyo checked the room, stunned. Even unflappable Kim Jun's face had hardened.
She could see how shocked everyone was.
"I've brought someone to take my place as guild master."
Go Cheolmin said.
"No one! I won't accept anyone!"
It was Choi Muhyun.
"Me too!"
Yeom Sang-taek shouted.
"Are you sane? You sick or something? Where the hell have you been?"
Skyla's voice mixed anger and worry.
"I don't think that's a decision you make alone."
Even Sa Yeonggyo, the newest Uramata member, couldn't hold back her fury.
Go Cheolmin just stared at her silently.
Sa Yeonggyo glanced at Kim Jun and Yoo Min-jeong. Both were suppressing their emotions.
In that moment, she realized how similar they were—not in looks, but in the aura they gave off. It pissed her off.
Sa Yeonggyo deliberately sidled up to Kim Jun, pressing close.
"One of two things: Master's lost it, or it's a joke. But it feels like the impossible's already happened..."
Kim Jun said.
"Come on in!"
Go Cheolmin called toward the door.
Sa Yeonggyo covered her mouth with her hand as she watched the man slowly enter the guildhouse, supported by others.
Everyone was speechless.
"...Dad?"
Yoo Min-jeong rushed forward, supporting Yoo Wan-seop on Choi Min-su's other side.
"This is Uramata Guild's new guild master."
Go Cheolmin stepped aside.
"Sorry for the poor first impression. You must all be shocked. No warning, and some random guy snags the master's seat. If you've got complaints, come find me anytime. I'll handle them."
Yoo Wan-seop was as commanding as his reputation.
Who could complain in front of the strongest Raider ever?
Sa Yeonggyo felt like she was dreaming.
Uramata Guild... what a weird place. The man once called Jushin's Sword stood right there.
As Uramata's guild master!
"And you are?"
Yoo Wan-seop eyed her.
"Sa Yeonggyo, Pink Team's second buffer. Pleased to meet you."
"Interesting. More interesting than I thought."
"I agree."
Sa Yeonggyo was certain: from this moment, Uramata was no longer a third-rate guild.
Yoo Wan-seop wasn't just any Raider.
Lee Hwan held the top ranking through sheer talent, but he shone as a solo act. Leading a team even dulled his edge sometimes.
Yoo Wan-seop, on the other hand, thrived commanding teams—the bigger, the better. He was born to lead massive expeditions.
She'd heard Grandpa praise him endlessly since childhood. No one knew better than her how incredible he was.
And now, he was Uramata's new master.
Raiders would flock here on his name alone.
He wasn't just a powerhouse leader—he was a legendary instructor. His insight let him spot weaknesses and pinpoint skill fixes after a single glance.
"Keep it secret for now. Until the official announcement. Focus on your training."
With that, Yoo Wan-seop left for the parking lot, supported by Choi Min-su and Yoo Min-jeong.
The Pink Team followed.
Everyone stood there until the Hummer carrying Yoo Wan-seop pulled away. Yoo Min-jeong had wanted to ride along, but her father said they'd meet at home later and refused.
Sa Yeonggyo scanned the faces around her.
Excitement everywhere. With the strongest Raider as master? Damn right.
She looked at Kim Jun.
His eyes blazed, tracking the Hummer down the road.
She knew that look. He felt the same burning desire to clash with Yoo Wan-seop that she did with him.
Sa Yeonggyo had never once wanted to fight her grandpa. Same vibe here.
This guy's completely insane.
And that made him even better.
Any man worthy of standing beside her needed that kind of guts.
The Pink Team headed back into the guildhouse. The energy was hotter than ever.
