“Let’s hear from the reporter stationed out front of the Dungeon Association headquarters. What’s the situation like there?”
Cha Yeong-woo said.
The reporter’s voice echoed through the studio.
As the camera light blinked off, Skyla stretched with a groan and hauled herself up.
Ratings were through the roof, so the broadcast kept getting extended. According to the PD, the show would run until the Awakening Test results dropped. Dramas and news segments had already been canceled or pushed back.
Skyla was dying inside. Repeating the same spiel over and over in this endless loop was pure torture. Every time that famous clip aired—Kim Jun pulling aggro like a madman in the dungeon—she had to rephrase her commentary just to keep it fresh.
Suddenly, the PD and writers’ side erupted in commotion.
Results are out?
Skyla took a swig of water and settled back into her seat.
The PD gestured toward Cha Yeong-woo.
He nodded.
“The Awakening Test results have just come in. They’ve also announced why it took so long. Viewers, thank you for your patience. Here are the passers for the 358th Awakening Test.”

At the top was Sa Yeonggyo.
Right below her, Lee Taeseop.
Where’s Kim Jun…?
Thankfully, the fifth name was Kim Jun.
Awakening score: 47 points.
Not bad at all. Hell, considering he came from a carrier background, it was something to celebrate. And yet, Skyla couldn’t shake the feeling she’d been scammed somehow.
But there was a glaring red asterisk next to Kim Jun’s name in particular. Looked like Kim Jun had caused some kind of issue with the Awakening Test again.
The writers handed printouts to the panelists.
Skyla quickly skimmed hers and went speechless. She’d figured out what that asterisk meant.
From 3 points to 92? Unprecedented results? And 47 is the average over ten tests? Damn, Kim Jun, you never make it easy.
Skyla nearly burst out laughing.
