This Devil Even Zombies Fear Him!
The driver was drenched in sweat, his clothes soaked through, but as a professional bodyguard, his mental fortitude was top-notch. He glanced at Ma Chenbin—the infamous young master of the Ma family, the boss of Jiang City's Crown Prince Gang, who feared neither heaven nor earth. Yet now, the guy had pissed himself in terror.
The driver's eye twitched. Looking at Ma Chenbin like that, he couldn't help but feel a surge of contempt.
If not for his powerful father, this useless second-generation fool would've died long ago!
It was exactly because this idiot provoked a devil that he'd dragged them all to their doom!
They could've lived comfortably in the apocalypse!
Under Ma Chenbin's frantic urging, the driver slammed the accelerator again, swerving left and right in a desperate bid to break through the zombie horde's encirclement.
But it was all in vain.
No matter how hard he floored it, the car couldn't advance another inch through the zombie swarm.
Outside the windows, grotesque zombies lunged forward, pounding relentlessly on the glass.
The entire vehicle shook violently from the impacts.
Beside him, Ma Chenbin let out terrified, hysterical howls.
The whole cabin reeked of piss.
Boom!! A massive crash echoed, followed by the screech of twisting metal.
The driver glanced back in despair. Sure enough, that monstrous armored vehicle had caught up.
The modified pickup trailing behind was already half-crushed under its bulk.
Ma Chenbin whipped his head around in horror, his body trembling uncontrollably.
But then, they saw the freakish armored car come to a sudden halt. A young man climbed out from the roof hatch, gripping a long-handled machete wreathed in blue flames.
The zombies clustered around the armored vehicle froze the instant they spotted him. As if struck by instinctive dread, they instinctively cleared a vacuum zone five or six meters wide around him.
"Holy shit! What the hell is that guy?! Even zombies are scared of him?!!"
Ma Chenbin stared in horror, realizing this mysterious youth could instill primal fear even in zombies!
"What the fuck have we pissed off? Is this guy human or a goddamn devil?" The driver wiped the cold sweat beading on his forehead, his voice strained.
They'd lost all will to fight back.
Then they watched as the devilish youth who terrified even zombies leaped down from the armored car. Through the off-road vehicle's windshield, he thrust his blade straight through the tattooed muscle-bound driver, killing him instantly.
He slashed the door open, effortlessly hoisted the unconscious silver-haired girl with one hand, then tossed her into the armored car's rear compartment.
"He's sparing lives!" the driver gasped in shock. "What the hell does this devil want with survivors?!!"
"Who gives a damn what he wants! Alive is better than dead!" Ma Chenbin glimpsed a sliver of hope and flailed his arms toward Xiao Yi, shouting wildly. "I surrender! I'll surrender!"
Xiao Yi advanced slowly toward their off-road vehicle, Sin Blade in hand, its blue flames flickering ominously.
The zombies around the vehicle began retreating as he approached.
Xiao Yi raised the Sin Blade high and brought it crashing down on the windshield...
Blood sprayed everywhere. Ma Chenbin felt his face and head drenched in hot gore.
Then terror swallowed him whole, and he blacked out.
When Ma Chenbin awoke, he found himself in a dungeon, hands and feet bound to a cross-shaped wooden rack.
The cell was cramped, pitch-dark, and oppressively damp.
The air carried some evil taint—every breath twisted his guts like knives.
It felt like countless ants burrowing inside him, gnawing relentlessly.
"Urgh... Ahh!! What the fuck is this hellhole?!!" Ma Chenbin wailed in agony.
"Bro! Save me!" A faint girl's voice came from beside him. He turned and saw his little sister bound to another cross, her body shuddering in torment.
"Finally awake, are we?" An sinister figure emerged from the shadows, whip in hand.
It was, of course, Xiao Yi.
And this dungeon was the new Slave Prison he'd just built.
Slave Prison: Covers 50 square meters, occupies underground space (no conflict with surface buildings). Imprisons errant slaves for punishment. Slaves inside endure constant torment. Price: 50 End Coins.
For just 50 End Coins, Xiao Yi had built a dungeon without wasting City of Sin space—and it kept its inmates in perpetual agony.
What a bargain.
"Who are you people? How many survivors in your camp? Where is it located?"
Xiao Yi's face flickered in the candlelight, like a demon risen from hell.
