The Arrogant Off-Road Punk
After burying the remaining few C-grade agility zombies, both his strength and agility had surpassed 90. He now had three Biochemical Claws, but only one Biochemical Demon Whisker.
However, after burying the burly zombie they'd hunted back today, he should be able to gather two.
"Next, I need to kill more C-grade agility Claw zombies."
Xiao Yi muttered to himself. He was looking forward—just a little—to the upgraded version of the Sin Blade.
But glancing at the End Coin tally, Xiao Yi felt a twinge of disappointment.
Not quite 300 yet. Otherwise, he could've summoned a Shredder Armored Vehicle right away. According to the system, that beast was supposed to be insanely powerful.
At the very least, way better than those modified off-road rigs he'd spotted before.
Still, he was already at 228 End Coins. At this rate, 300 wouldn't take long.
BLAM! HONK HONK HONK!!! A loud, frantic horn blast jolted Xiao Yi upright.
"Who's blasting their fucking horn? Are they insane? Trying to get themselves killed?" Shen Ting Ting yanked her clothes on, fuming as she bolted toward the walls.
The others perked up too, curiosity piqued. They threw on their clothes and followed her to the ramparts.
Xiao Yi closed his eyes, directing his Three-Eyed Crow skyward.
"It's those assholes again!"
This time, the crew in the modified off-roaders seemed dead set on something. Alongside their two tricked-out SUVs, they'd brought a massive cement mixer.
That blaring horn was coming from the mixer, drawing hordes of zombies from the school gates. The undead surged toward it in a frenzy, but the driver was ready—floored the gas and peeled out into the distance without a backward glance.
Meanwhile, the two off-roaders barreled straight into the school grounds.
The iron sliding gate couldn't withstand the steel-plated battering rams on the vehicles' fronts. It crumpled like tin foil in seconds.
The SUVs roared toward the City of Sin.
"Master! Looks like two vehicles are charging straight for us!" Li Wan Ning, with her long legs giving her the high ground, spotted the speeding intruders first.
Xiao Yi's face hardened. He shot to his feet and vaulted onto the battlements.
Six meters high? For him now, just a single leap.
With a guttural roar of engines, the two armored off-roaders screeched to a halt right at the City of Sin's gates.
The window of the Ford Raptor slowly rolled down, steel bars reinforcing the frame. A smirking face appeared—cocky, dismissive.
A punk-ass youth with a full head of dyed white hair, lips curled in a perpetual sneer, eyes dripping arrogance.
The moment Xiao Yi and the women locked eyes on him, the youth spotted Xiao Yi too.
"Holy shit! What the fuck is this? There's actually a goddamn city here! No fucking way—I hit the jackpot!"
The kid in the passenger seat, sporting an earring, kept craning his neck out, gawking at the City of Sin's walls with wide-eyed glee.
"Check it out! People on the battlements!" A silver-haired girl popped up from the pickup bed—maybe fifteen or sixteen, decent-looking but slathered in heavy makeup that made her seem almost slutty.
These punks screamed delinquent rich kids. No doubt about it.
"Hey, kid on the wall! How the hell'd you build these walls? I heard there was a city here and thought it was bullshit, but fuck me—you've got some balls showing this off!" The white-haired punk grinned sleazily, waving at Xiao Yi with exaggerated flair. "You're a fucking genius, man!"
"Whoa! And all these college chicks! Damn—those babes are fire! Told you this school's crawling with hotties. Didn't expect this loser to scoop 'em all up!"
"Fuck off!" Xiao Yi snarled coldly at the delinquents, then waved for the gawking women beside him to head down from the walls.
He knew these shitheads had guns. At this range, he wasn't worried about getting hit—but these women had no clue about rifle power. They might freeze up.
"You little shit's got guts!" The white-haired punk grabbed an Type 81 rifle from the back seat and sprayed two wild shots at Xiao Yi's position.
The walls soaked up the bullets harmlessly.
But it was Xiao Yi's first taste of rifle fire. His face darkened to steel.
If not for those guns, he'd have leaped down and hacked the bastards to pieces by now!
"Don't wanna die? Then open the fucking gates! This city's mine now! And those women? They're mine too! Hahaha! Prime pussy like that going to a loser like you? Total fucking waste!" The white-haired punk howled with laughter.
"I'm telling you now—you're gonna die slow and painful." Xiao Yi stared daggers at the white-haired punk, his words ice-cold and deliberate.
These fuckers' provocations had ignited his fury completely.
They were dead men.
