Stream Spoilers and Tournament Hype

I got up, saw Ul Eonni off, grabbed a quick breakfast-lunch combo, washed my face haphazardly, and sat down in my chair to prep for the stream. It'd only been about two weeks since my debut, but the routine was already feeling natural. I worried about how I'd manage once classes started back up.

But more importantly than that, I needed to tell the viewers about the graduation ceremony and the Eternal Loop tournament coming up. I timed it perfectly with the end of my intro song, grabbing my water and settling in.

"Ah, ah! Can everyone hear me okay?"

I ignored the nonsense from the viewers and slowly opened ‍‍‌‌⁠​​⁠‌​​‍​​‍​‌​⁠‍‌‍⁠⁠‌⁠‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍⁠​‌​‌​‌‍‌‌‌⁠‍​​‌‍⁠‌‌⁠⁠my mouth.

"Okay, I'll make the announcement once more people show up."

Since I started a bit earlier than usual, I figured I'd wait until the crowd built up. If I spilled it now, latecomers would just spam questions.

"Anyway, since I started early today, I'll check out the fan cafe a bit, do the minor announcement, and then Eternal Loop!"

I skimmed the chat once, pretended not to notice, and switched screens to pull up the Atelier Fan Cafe. Honestly, anyone who hopped in right when I went live probably already knew everything.

"Alright, we'll look at the cafe first, so everyone quiet down."

I changed the subject and clicked the top post on the free board.

I should've checked before clicking, but I tapped it without thinking and accidentally spoiled it. It definitely wasn't there when I peeked last night before bed—the timestamp showed it was posted right before I went live.

"…Shall we look at the next post?"

I tried to play it off casually, but the chat was already exploding with laughter.

Luckily, the next 20 minutes of fan cafe browsing had no weird posts or spoilers. Now that we had a decent crowd, it was time…

"Shall we do the minor announcement?"

I left the viewers to their own fun and lowered my voice dramatically, staring straight ahead. It was kinda silly to build suspense after the spoiler, ‍‍‌‌⁠​​⁠‌​​‍​​‍​‌​⁠‍‌‍⁠⁠‌⁠‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍⁠​‌​‌​‌‍‌‌‌⁠‍​​‌‍⁠‌‌⁠⁠but I had to keep up appearances.

"I'm joining the Eternal Loop tournament this time! My teammates are Danbi-unni and Huran-i!"

Mentioning members solo could've caused issues, but I'd asked Ul Eonni and the others first thing this morning if it was okay, so we were good.

"Glad everyone's excited. I was a little worried since they've been streaming way longer than me, but playing together yesterday, they took such good care of me."

As I shared my thoughts from last night's game, the chat filled with "you're so cute" and jealous messages.

"R-Really?"

Was it embarrassment? My face felt hot, and I found myself fiddling with it unconsciously. It'd only been two weeks since I got Ul Eonni, but did it show that much to everyone?

"But I'm pretty mature and reliable at my age, right?"

I gripped my mouse tight at the chat's absurdity. Wasn't I decent? It had to be those horror and story games from before messing up my image. I wanted to clap back, but that'd just give them more ammo, so I let it slide. Besides, the announcement wasn't just the tournament—though saying this next bit might cause chaos.

"…Anyway, besides the tournament, there's one more thing."

I chuckled softly at the endless brainrot and lightly ignored the chat.

"Seriously… stop with the weird stuff. Anyway, I have a graduation ceremony early February, so I'll probably go on hiatus."

A few thinking it was college graduation seemed like recent newcomers. Makes sense—no wiki page, and unless they checked reruns or the gallery, they wouldn't know.

"Anyway, with the ceremony and everything after, it'll run late, so hiatus it is. I'll post details in the notice after stream!"

"School uniform? Do you know how long fanart takes?"

Maybe I said it too bluntly, 'cause a purple character crying emote popped up. I wanted to try new outfits too, but no settlement pay yet, and I'd need to commission the artist ahead. Still, was I too harsh…?

"…But once settlement hits next month, I'll prep some new costumes."

I stared at the chat in disbelief. Who said I'd say yes to a date? Ridiculous.

"Even I'm not that dumb, okay? And who's dating who! I have zero plans to date guys, so cut the nonsense!"

I had nothing to say to that. I'd never date a guy, even dead… but a girl? Maybe. Though who besides Ul Eonni would like someone like me? Bantering with viewers flew by, and suddenly an hour was gone.

"Whoa, an hour already, guys? Time for games?"

"What're we playing? This…"

I casually switched to the desktop, showed the game icon in the center, and updated the title and tags like always.

"Haha."

I nodded nonchalantly at the worried chats.

"Of course it's not my strong suit, ‍‍‌‌⁠​​⁠‌​​‍​​‍​‌​⁠‍‌‍⁠⁠‌⁠‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍⁠​‌​‌​‌‍‌‌‌⁠‍​​‌‍⁠‌‌⁠⁠and from next time, I'll join unnis' streams. I didn't prep the game solo today…"

Schedule, huh. Yeah, since debut, I'd been streaming on whims… er, my own schedule. With tournament practice, graduation soon, and class registration after, a proper one made sense.

"Schedule… sounds good! Before launching the game, shall we make next week's? Any requests?"

My words unleashed a flood of trendy games in chat.

"High-spec ones like Blue Desert might lag without a second PC. I'll look into it, but not next week! And…"

I pulled up Notepad on the desktop and started jotting down games while chatting with viewers.

"Alright! This looks solid? Super packed, packed!"

"Everything subject to change! But now it's set, so today we're going in?"

"Let's go!"

They say that but won't actually go… seriously, such trolls?
