Day 5: Survey Shenanigans and Eternal Loop Blues

Damn, so many people showed up... The urge to just shut down the stream was surging, but it was way too late to bail now.

"Ahem. E-everyone, hope you all had a great lunch today!"

My voice was shaking from roll call with over 500 people for two straight days, and the sniffing was from the spicy mala tang ramen at lunch. But the viewers had already decided I was some crybaby.

"It's just from eating something spicy, so stop saying I cried, everyone."

The chat felt sweeter than usual, which made it kinda awkward. And the same folks who threw fits about me taking one day off a week were now telling me to rest? Looked like some massive bombshells had dropped in the gallery overnight.

"Don't worry about it. Anyway, I've been doing roll call, right? I'm starting to think I can't keep it up much longer..."

The moment I said it timidly, the chat showered me with pity—my brain was melting... Thawwww...

"Eek! Everyone, stop worrying!"

No matter what the viewers did, they were worrying about me, nearly turning my brain to mush. If they kept this up, it'd get all soft and squishy for sure. I was already feeling weird...

"I'm really fine, so don't worry. Anyway, we planned a survey today, but way too many people showed up."

I banned one useless troll and glared at the chat with disgust. Live together forever?

"Forever together? Hmm, that's a bit..."

"Anyway, I prepared the survey questions, right? I'll pin them in chat, so go fill it out! I'll wait about an hour."

The moment I pinned the survey link, chat speed visibly slowed. Perfect timing to purge the trolls.

"Okay, for the next hour, what I'll do is!"

Yeah, yeah. No matter what you say, I've gotta grind Eternal Loop to filter out the floating controversy.

I played three games of Eternal Loop straight, but didn't get first place even once. Why? I always picked the enemy ADC!

"...Anyway, doesn't seem like it was my fault."

Viewers were nitpicking, but nothing stuck. Why? 'Cause I didn't do anything wrong! If I didn't dive, who on my team would? Huh?

I had to go Dark Knight to win! And Shorichi's entry wasn't braindead—it was strategic. They don't even know the game properly. Absolutely not scratched. Viewers just don't get it.

"Haa... Seriously, quiet down. Time to check the survey."

Couldn't say that out loud, so I just sighed quietly and closed the game.

"Let's see... Everyone filled out the survey properly, right?"

Crazy bastards. Raisins? Did they all do drugs?

I grumbled through gritted teeth, but chat exploded even more. I hated this...

Swallowing tears, I ignored chat and opened the survey results. Reacting more would just hype them up.

"...Let's check."

"S-so many participated."

I'd filtered ants during Eternal Loop, but still more than expected—my jaw dropped.

This'll take almost 4 hours, and I shouldn't have done open-ended... Hope no trolls, I thought, slowly clicking.

"Everyone wants a cafe, so I'll whip up a simple one after stream!"

I'd wanted a fan cafe but no excuse, and with gallery folks dominant, it'd turn into Gallery 2.0.

But they wanted it ‍‍‌‌⁠​​⁠‌​​‍​​‍​‌​⁠‍‌‍⁠⁠‌⁠‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍⁠​‌​‌​‌‍‌‌‌⁠‍​​‌‍⁠‌‌⁠⁠outright, and they wouldn't troll a fan cafe.

"Alright, moving on quick!"

I took a deep breath and started answering one by one while scrolling. First hour was multiple choice, so smooth sailing... but then.

"...Asked for fan cafe names, but almost no one gave proper ones?"

My head was starting to hurt again. Worse than when that Yaru jerk DM'd me...

"Haa... Why are you all like this."

"Fun? Oh, yeah? Glad it's fun then."

The absurd donation made me pout and glare at the monitor. I'd dealt with worse as gallery mod, but seeing it in this body for the first time pissed me off.

"I'm not mad, stop it! Ugh, so annoying."

Should I kill them? How do they all talk so infuriatingly? Some WWE energy, but before more weird scratches, change topic quick.

"O-okay, I'll read fan cafe suggestions one by one, pick 4 I like, and poll for votes."

"N-not a dictator, vote quick. 5 mins enough?"

I liked 2 personally, but chat said it'd be plain Riee Fan Cafe. While they voted, I zoned out on Twitch—a notification sparkled.

'Checked everything earlier, who...?'

Yaru again? Psycho? Clicked to ignore, but unexpected sender and message shocked me.
