Calling Me Unni
Do Yoonseo. Sunday, first week of May 2072.
Afternoon, 12:40 PM.
It was a clear day.
The early summer weather wasn't too hot or too cold. The cool breeze felt refreshing, and the sunlight shining down from the sky wasn't harsh at all.
Basking in the warm sunlight, Do Yoonseo waited at the meeting spot.
A white long skirt and a light pink dress shirt. She adjusted the ribbon tie at her collar and felt the cool breeze.
The wind blew, making her long pink hair sway.
Ding—!
A small alarm rang in her ear. The vibration started from the phone in her hand and traveled up her arm.
Seeing the text from her daughter, Do Yoonseo broke into a broad smile.
It wasn't playful—it was a natural smile rising from the depths of her heart. She was even surprised at herself for being able to smile like this.
She touched the smile forming on her lips and leaned against the nearby railing.
The appointed time was 2 PM.
It wasn't even 1 yet.
"Am I too excited...?"
Wondering if she'd come too early, Do Yoonseo tapped the ground with the toe of her sneakers—just like always. Well, not exactly like always. These were her cherished sneakers she'd barely worn.
"Maybe I should just go into a café...?"
She muttered while tapping the ground.
A small sigh escaped her lips.
The thought that she might be overdressed wouldn't leave her mind. Or did it even match in the first place?
"Hyun-ah picked it out, so..."
Either way, Hyun-ah had more dating experience and fashion sense than her. As a total novice, all Do Yoonseo could do was wear what was chosen and nod.
It had taken a full two days.
Unlike Friday, which started late in the afternoon and ended quickly, yesterday they'd spent the entire day shopping for clothes.
Two hours minimum per store.
Tops and bottoms, underwear, hats, bags, and even shoes—dozens, hundreds of combinations to try on.
Some were so flashy they hurt her eyes, others too plain.
And after pushing through all that, the result was the outfit she was wearing now.
"Isn't it too plain?"
To Do Yoonseo, it looked understated.
But Hyun-ah had insisted that very plainness was what made it perfect.
"...I dunno."
Looking up at the sky, Do Yoonseo let out a sigh.
"...I miss Seoha."
She murmured softly, glancing around. Amid the men furtively eyeing her, wondering if they should approach, a lone radiant figure was drawing near.
In that instant, the world seemed to black out, leaving only her.
"...Seoha!"
"Yeah? Oh."
The name slipped out unbidden.
Yoon Seoha's eyes, from afar, spotted Do Yoonseo.
Her eyes widened slightly, then a pleasant smile spread across her face.
With that soft smile blooming, Yoon Seoha took a step toward Do Yoonseo.
"Over here...!"

"Unni."
"...Huh?"
"You're so pretty today?"
"...W-what, huh?"
The mysterious word from Yoon Seoha's lips flowed into Do Yoonseo's ear, short-circuiting her brain.
It was a bigger shock than the time BB had said, "I'm pregnant."
"...Yoonseo-unni?"
"Y-you, you just called me... unni...!"
"Yeah. Unni. ...Does it bother you? Should I call you Director instead?"
"N-nooo! No way! Uh, unni...!"
Do Yoonseo shook her head frantically, on the verge of a fit. Her face flushed red as she mumbled in a tiny voice.
"C-call me unni..."
"Pfft, okay. Unni."
"Haaah..."
"Then—"
Yoon Seoha extended her hand. It was a pale, elegant hand.
Maybe because she was a futanari, it was a large palm fitting her height over 180cm, yet still beautiful.
Do Yoonseo took that hand.
A hand slightly smaller than her own. Well, Do Yoonseo was a bit taller by 1-2cm anyway.
Though right now, with Yoon Seoha in heels, it was reversed.
"—shall we go?"
"...Yeah!"
It was just past 1 PM.
An hour earlier than planned—a date made possible because both were more excited than they'd imagined.
"Wait long?"
"Huh? No. I just got here."
"Hmmm. Really?"
A little while into their walk, Yoon Seoha spoke first.
Do Yoonseo calmed her pounding heart and answered. She'd arrived around noon... but waiting an hour was nothing.
"The appointment was at 2."
"...You got here at 1 too."
"I wanted to see unni sooner."
"Eek..."
Yoon Seoha grinned slyly in response.
"Something's different about you."
"Is it?"
"Yeah."
Do Yoonseo pouted.
Yoon Seoha's vibe had changed. A bit more relaxed. A subtle shift you wouldn't notice unless you were paying close attention.
"Something good happen?"
"Hmm. If it's good, then yeah. Some pent-up feelings got resolved."
"Sounds good."
A brief silence.
Only the sound of their footsteps, surrounding laughter, chatter, and traffic filled the quiet.
Breaking it, Do Yoonseo hesitantly spoke up.
"...Seoha."
"Yeah."
"You know I married BB, right?"
"Of course."
Gripping Seoha's hand tight, Do Yoonseo took a deep breath and continued.
"The others treat it like roleplay... but for me, it was real. BB and I have kids together."
"Yeah."
"...Still okay?"
"Unni."
She stopped walking and looked at Do Yoonseo.
Yoon Seoha's beautiful brown eyes met hers.
"I know what I'm getting into."
"..."
"And I'll probably end up with more than just unni too. So—"
"You're a total slut?"
"...Yeah."
Yoon Seoha gave a wry smile. Not the best date topic.
But if not now, they might never share their true feelings.
"Yeah. Shameless slut."
"And with you, you'd treat Seoyoon-unni like a 'person' too."
"Like BB?"
"Yeah. Like BB."
Do Yoonseo closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
She slowly opened them, gazing at Yoon Seoha with her green eyes.
"I'm a married woman?"
"Yeah."
"First kid's already an adult? And two more besides."
"It's fine."
"...Really."
Do Yoonseo smiled. The anxiety in her eyes had long vanished. Her heart felt light. No love confession needed—they understood each other.
Confessions weren't necessary anymore.
They looked into each other's eyes and read the emotions there.
That was enough.
"By the way, first kid's an adult? What does that mean?"
"Oh. Adopted."
"...Figures. Even if you and BB are sluts, not that much. Timing doesn't match anyway."
Yoon Seoha chuckled softly at Do Yoonseo's grumbling.
"You know we're sluts?"
"...Shut up."
The two bickered playfully as they kept walking.
A bit later, they entered a cozy-looking café.
Yoon Seoha got a latte with oat milk; Do Yoonseo added a shot to her mango ade.
"That good?"
"Dunno."
"?"
They chatted about nothing important, passing the time.
Milk foam on Yoon Seoha's upper lip. Do Yoonseo wiped it with her finger.
As she reached for a napkin to clean her finger, Yoon Seoha stopped her and leaned forward.
"Huh?"
Smack. A tiny sound.
Yoon Seoha slipped Do Yoonseo's foam-covered thumb into her mouth and lightly licked it with her tongue.
"Mmm."
She smiled in satisfaction, pulling the finger out. Giggling, she looked at Do Yoonseo.
"..."
Snapped back by Yoon Seoha's piercing gaze, Do Yoonseo fumbled for a napkin, her face even redder.
She wiped the saliva off her finger with a crumpled napkin, then buried her head and slurped noisily at her drink.
Steam seemed to rise from her head.
"That good, huh?"
"...Shut up."
"Hehe."

Yoon Seoha rested her chin on her hand with a small smile, her brown eyes fixed on Do Yoonseo.
She sipped her latte and smiled.
Looking at Do Yoonseo, she spoke.
"Unni."
"Y-yeah...?"
"You got foam too."
Yoon Seoha's eyes curved into crescents.
"Won't wipe it off for me?"
"..."
Slowly,
Do Yoonseo leaned forward.
Smack.
A tiny sound no one at the next table could hear.
But to them, it rang louder than anything in their ears.
