Annihilation World
The light wings, saturated with dimensional authority driven to its absolute limit in the Otherworld War, blazed with blinding radiance as they swallowed the entire stellar system into a domain of power. The dark wings, rendered even blacker by the influence of magical energy raised to an unprecedented height, created the eerie illusion of devouring everything in existence. The liberation army’s Creator Gods and Main Gods immediately sensed the catastrophe about to unfold from the phantom-like, translucent silhouettes of colossal planets and stars. They charged forward in a frenzy of desperation.
The opponent is not a Fighting God who battles with his body, but a Creator God who primarily wields authorities.
Interrupt the incantation at all costs—!
If a Creator God possessing such divine power completes an incantation for an authority, there is no telling what kind of disaster will erupt.
Giving a Creator God—who could freely manipulate reality with vast computational power—time to finish an incantation would result in unimaginable large-scale destruction and casualties. The scale of damage would dwarf anything a physical-combat Fighting God could ever produce. They knew this all too well; in the ideological war that had driven out the cowards, the greatest losses had been inflicted by Creator Gods who relied on authorities exactly like this.
Yet an authority that required such a long incantation, while immensely powerful, became completely useless if interrupted midway. That was why they normally required escort forces. The fact that he had come alone was instead a golden opportunity.
We must end this here, no matter what.
Where did this Creator God suddenly come from?
If he had brought an entire army to the battlefield, we would have had no way to resist.
Even the Creator Gods shuddered at the horrific divine power and authority radiating from their foe. Had he arrived with a full legion, there truly would have been no defense. They exchanged wills with the Creator Gods who had rushed over as reinforcements and immediately attempted a reckless breakthrough.
But the Main Gods’ camp had already descended into pandemonium.
“Stop the incantation—!”
“Space? Magical power? Time? Gravity? Barrier?”
“What the hell is this? We can’t use spatial movement at all.”
“No—we’re being pushed away instead—!”
They had tried to close the distance instantly through spatial jumps, only to find themselves hurled even farther back. The translucent planets were sliding past them from another dimension, repositioning themselves. Any forced spatial movement simply bounced them backward. The moment they launched long-range attacks, something swallowed the strikes, and the sense of crisis only swelled.
The true horror struck when they witnessed the entire surrounding region completely covered by translucent planets.
“This… this is…?”
“Is this an offensive authority?”
“No way… he’s swallowing the entire stellar system?”
No Creator God could encompass an area larger than a thousand kilometers. Yet the newly arrived Creator God had blanketed the whole stellar system in the shadow of planets. Their anxiety soon became reality.
The translucent planets began to detonate in unison.
Kwaaaaaaaaang—! Kwaaaaaaaaang—!
Planets from beyond the dimension collided, transmitting bone-rattling shockwaves and explosive roars even to them. The entire stellar system region was swallowed by stellar detonations.
It looked like watching a scene from another world on a screen. But the only ones still capable of spatial movement—the Creator Gods—turned deathly pale.
There’s no way he would show us this just for spectacle.
This is happening in an overlapping dimension or subspace. If those explosions occurred here, everything except us would be annihilated.
A Main God might endure a single planetary explosion, but a chain reaction on this scale would threaten even a Creator God’s life. There was no need to issue a retreat order. The Main Gods who finally understood what they were seeing were already fleeing for their lives.
But it’s already too late.
Long-range spatial movement has been sealed.
The enemy Creator God’s authority controlled an area so vast that the Main Gods’ own power could never escape it. Their instincts screamed at them to run, yet they could not abandon dozens of precious Main Gods. In the end, they chose to launch a desperate assault on the enemy Creator God who had closed in to point-blank range.
A Creator God who specialized in authorities was inevitably weak in close combat. They still had a chance.
“You bastard—! Stop it—!”
“Die—!”
Dimension Creator God Coa smiled with genuine delight as the traitorous Creator Gods reached the standard thousand-kilometer limit of a Creator God’s authority domain, instantly closing the distance to attack him. Snaring two Creator Gods with such simple provocation was an excellent bargain.
“Kekeke—! Two Creator Gods right off the bat? Excellent, you’ve come at just the right time—!”
They appeared to have trained somewhat, but they posed no threat whatsoever to Dimension Creator God Coa. Moreover, he held perfect control over this entire close-range space. There was simply no escape for them.
And in that instant, Dimension Creator God Coa’s incantation finished.
12 Circle Annihilation World.
Let the divine race and the demonic race alike return to nothingness within the stellar explosions that form their very origin.
Magic Type: Space-Time and Dimensional Magic, Offensive Category
Effect: Summons massively compressed giant planets at the brink of explosion through dimensional relocation, scatters them across a local-universe range, and triggers simultaneous chain detonations. The planetary explosions trigger regional-universe-scale simultaneous destruction. As it is pure physical force, once successfully activated it cannot be blocked by authorities. Even a Creator God struck directly will suffer near-fatal wounds or be shattered into pieces. The range approaches 13th Circle while the power equals roughly 11th Circle. The smaller the blast radius, the greater the destructive force.
Restriction: Cannot activate without fusing dimensional authority with magic of 11th Circle or higher.
The silently released light caused everything to vanish as though evaporating. Within the isolated dimension, the chain explosions of Annihilation World—pushed to the absolute limit—produced no roar at all. He had even reduced the attack area to its extreme to heighten the power further, concentrating a regional-universe-destroying Annihilation World into a stellar-system scale.
Every action had been taken with the absolute intent of killing the enemy Creator Gods.
These bastards are disgustingly weak, but their divine status as Creator Gods is genuine. Simple physical death won’t be enough. To prevent them from fleeing to their main bodies and resurrecting, I must annihilate them in a single instant.
Although the attack radius had been pathetically reduced, the power was certain. The defensive satellites and planets, two of the liberation army’s Creator Gods, roughly ten Main Gods, and several thousand Fighting Gods were all erased alongside the entire stellar system.
A vibration like a gentle breeze swept across the universe.
Huuuuuuuuuuu—!
All that remained was empty void, as if a hole had been punched through space itself. Not even a trace remained of the bodies of the Creator Gods who had approached. Dimension Creator God Coa watched the divine spirits, unable to withstand the shock of their bodies’ annihilation and now on the verge of collapse, and laughed with satisfaction.
“Kukukukukukuku—! So this is enough to reliably kill a Creator God from the Otherworld. Excellent. I’m very satisfied.”
Dimension Creator God Coa wore a deeply pleased smile at the scene he had created. Unlike the past, when his computational power and control had been lacking, he had executed everything perfectly this time—no unnecessary steps, no loss of power. The force had been enough to annihilate even a Creator God’s physical body.
He drew the divine spirits attempting to disappear along with their destroyed bodies into the Divine Spirit Purgatory on his forehead without leaving a single one behind, then turned his gaze into the far distance. The defensive line and bases guarded by more than ten thousand traitors had all vanished, leaving only a vast, empty expanse of space.
“Hmmmm—! Very good. Extremely clean. Now I can finally see their real fighting force.”
He had torn a massive hole in their defensive line and erased an entire army along with it. No commander could possibly tolerate that. An all-out war might break out immediately, but that too would be welcome.
Rather than leaving the war to incompetent and weak subordinates, it is far better to sweep the board myself and leave the cleanup to others.
He had even prepared such a wide battlefield. All that remained was to leisurely measure the enemy’s level and limits against the true elites who would come raging in mad fury.
Meanwhile, the defending army could not close their mouths at the sight of a stellar system one-tenth the size of the enemy’s defensive line—along with tens of thousands of enemy troops—completely vaporized.
In the blink of an eye, the enemy forces we had fiercely confronted for hundreds of billions of years simply disappeared.
Moreover, we definitely confirmed two Creator Gods, yet not even a trace of their divine power remains.
That means even the Creator Gods were annihilated without any chance to resurrect.
When they imagined the same fate befalling themselves, the situation became truly spine-chilling.
“Good thing we didn’t shoot from behind.”
“That Creator God is on our side, right?”
“He erased all the enemies, so he must be one of us.”
If he had been an enemy, their own fate would have been the same in the very next moment. It was an enormous relief that his gaze and attacks had remained fixed on the traitors’ side.
In a situation beyond their ability to handle, people inevitably look for someone higher. Naturally, that meant their direct superior.
“Why isn’t the captain coming?”
“This isn’t an opponent we can handle at all.”
“I heard he came with us, saw that scene, and immediately went back.”
“He said he was going to report to the commander and secure additional forces.”
The frontline commander had abandoned his post alone in such a situation. For a moment they were speechless, but they understood. They too wanted to run away immediately.
“What about us?”
“We stay on combat standby.”
“Damn it—! Are we the only ones left holding the line?”
Even though the enemy was gone, they had no desire to stand near the cruel Creator God who had erased ten thousand Fighting Gods and now stood there with a bright, cheerful smile. The fact that he was even laughing made it worse.
“Kahahahahahaha—! Their skills are pathetic, but two Creator Gods’ divine spirits plus extras? The math works out nicely. Now then—real elites, come quickly!”
Dimension Creator God Coa’s laughter, overflowing with expectation, echoed from the enormous hole torn in the frontline. He had fought several times since arriving in the Otherworld yet had not felt even a hint of tension, let alone danger.
The 1st Army Defense Force commander, who had received a direct in-person report from the Main God in charge of the sector, could not stop his disbelief.
“The traitors’ entire forward defensive army and bases have been annihilated?”
“Two Creator Gods, approximately ten Main Gods, and ten thousand border troops have all been annihilated. A portion of the enemy’s defensive line has completely collapsed. My own forces are currently on standby. Please urgently dispatch additional Creator God level combatants.”
The commander listened to the Main God’s direct report and felt rage boiling up inside.
The field commander and captain—a Main God himself—has come in person to request reinforcements. That means only ordinary Fighting Gods remain on the front line right now.
According to the report, the man had abandoned his troops to face a Creator God capable of simultaneously annihilating enemy defensive forces and bases, then fled by himself.
“That’s not the problem—! Instead of monitoring an unidentified Creator God, why did you come here personally? You should have sent a messenger while leading your subordinates—! Do you not know what a grave military offense it is for a commander to abandon the front line without permission? It is summary execution.”
His direct superior had declared he would impose the ultimate penalty for unauthorized desertion of the front line, yet the Main God remained completely composed. His family background was higher than the commander’s, so it was merely a threat. Besides, a Main God would have been no constraint at all against that terrifying Creator God. Dying a dog’s death for the sake of regulations and face was pointless. He had to find an effective response.
That was why he had come here himself.
“Recording the exercise of a Creator God’s authority through video is impossible. The only one who can properly grasp the situation and report it is myself, the Main God who witnessed it firsthand. The opponent is a Creator God who uses wide-area authorities that transcend all standards. Even two of the enemy’s Creator Gods could not cope. Their Main Gods could not even approach. Furthermore, an entire stellar-system-scale region was annihilated in a single instant without a sound. Given the situation, a Main God like myself cannot possibly oppose him, and no matter how many Fighting Gods are mobilized, they cannot even buy time. If the commanders step forward, they will meet the same fate. Therefore we must urgently request every Creator God from the Supreme Council. Military law can be discussed after we first resolve the crisis.”
It was an arrogant claim for a mere Main God to say that even Creator Gods were insufficient. Moreover, invoking the entire Supreme Council made fury surge within the commander. Yet the argument was undeniably reasonable.
If an ordinary messenger had delivered such a report, I would have flown into a rage and ignored it. But a Main God who witnessed it personally has come despite the risk of military punishment. I cannot fail to take action.
His dignity as military commander would be severely damaged, but this was the front line. If a Creator God of that caliber ran wild, the entire defense force could be endangered. Still, the fact that everything was proceeding exactly as the insolent Main God wished made him shout in irritation.
“Connect me to the Supreme Council—!”
“Understood.”
With a slight burst of static, the weary faces of the Supreme Council’s Creator Gods appeared.
“Using an emergency direct line—what exactly is going on, 1st Army Defense Force Commander?”
The defense commanders of each army were indeed Creator Gods, but their ability and divine status fell far short of the Supreme Council’s. Although he was spoken down to, he reported with perfect politeness.
“I am reporting an emergency. An unidentified, extremely powerful Creator God has invaded from our defensive line into the enemy’s defensive line and simultaneously annihilated every single force deployed across the stellar system.”
“…….”
Blink. Blink.
For a moment the Creator Gods could not comprehend what they were hearing and their eyes opened and closed repeatedly. Destroying a single planet was possible for a Creator God. Eliminating a stellar system was also feasible if time and effort were invested. But annihilating an entire stellar system in one go belonged to an entirely different dimension of power. The damage that dozens of Creator Gods would need hundreds of years to inflict had occurred in a single strike. It was simply unbelievable. Yet there was no way someone would lie while using an emergency line reserved exclusively for crises.
Watching the confused Supreme Council Creator Gods, the 1st Army commander understood their reaction.
Honestly, even I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t received the report in person and reviewed the battlefield footage afterward.
“It is estimated that two enemy Creator Gods, ten Main Gods, and ten thousand Fighting Gods have been annihilated. The Creator God in question is currently waiting within that area. His authority has been identified as a wide-area ability that triggers chain stellar explosions on a stellar-system scale. Whether he is friend or foe is unknown, but he is extremely dangerous. This is the judgment of the Main God who confirmed the situation on site—that our current forces cannot respond. Here is footage of the Creator God. The region was once the traitors’ territory but has been completely annihilated and is now empty space. Please watch and judge for yourselves. I request direct support from the Supreme Council’s Creator Gods.”
Whiiiing—!
As the image floated into the air, the Creator Gods who had looked on with curiosity at the identity of such a powerful being recoiled in shock.
“Pfft—!”
“Huk—!”
“Coa—!”
A Creator God possessing thirteen layers of light wings and thirteen layers of dark wings was hardly common. Moreover, the black robe pressed deeply over his face made it unmistakable. They had barely managed to reattach bodies mangled by the Demon King’s claw of magical power and had been groaning in pain from the severe damage. Seeing him now was naturally startling. The location was equally absurd. How much time had passed since the uproar on the capital planet? Yet here he was, far beyond regional-universe distance on the traitors’ defensive line. It was simply preposterous.
“When did he get all the way out there?”
“He’s fast, I’ll give him that.”
“He struck our forces last time. Is he hitting the enemy this time?”
“If an entire enemy defensive army and fortress have been annihilated, then this is our gain.”
“Then we should hold a welcoming ceremony, shouldn’t we?”
“Let’s gather as many people as possible in the newly built plaza.”
Having been beaten so one-sidedly that their will to resist had been broken, they had even begun to joke.
