The Feminist's True Nature
The sight of the Magic God of Dimensions getting completely played like that yet still spouting nonsense about love made my blood boil. I grabbed her—clothes or no clothes—flipped her over my knee, and spanked her ass until it swelled up like a ripe peach. Of course she cried and screamed and threw a fit, but a mere Main God no longer had any chance of escaping my grasp.
Himejina, who understood his power and the current situation to some extent, remained silent with a troubled expression. She knew this was the only chance to return to their glorious past.
‘After falling for that pretty-boy scheme from the enemy’s Creator Candidate during the authentication battle and becoming part of the divine race, there’s no way we can go back. Not as the clan’s rising star, not as their hope—nothing. The only option is to fight and win again. Only by proving our potential through victory can we even have a chance to speak to the clan.’
But from her current reaction, it was clear she hadn’t completely abandoned her feelings of love. That was why Riasna hesitated when told that if she couldn’t tell whether he was a past lover or an enemy, she should smash him to pieces in this Main God battle, find her proper place, and then decide whether to start over or not. However, when reminded that losing because of love would mean getting her ass beaten for a long time to come, she nodded with fearful eyes, albeit with great difficulty.
‘Since she’s already submitted to power, the moment she gains some breathing room she’ll try to play at love again. Using such a childish fool in war makes me extremely anxious and uneasy.’
It was obvious what kind of mess she would cause on the battlefield in this state. I let out a deep sigh and began what was less a lecture and more gentle coaxing.
“Huuu—! I’ll say it again. I don’t know if he’s a lover or an enemy, but once a traitor, always a traitor. Even if you meet and clear up the misunderstanding, the fact that you were thrown into the Spirit Realm won’t change, and it will happen again. This is fate. In other words, the guy who’s destined to become your enemy will become your enemy no matter how well you treat him. So finish him off when you have the advantage, and run when you don’t. You, who switched from the demon god race to the divine race and lost most of your authority, are currently in an extremely disadvantageous position. He, on the other hand, has become a Lord God and holds an overwhelmingly advantageous one. The gap between you two will only grow wider. So if you completely kill him this time and even destroy the Main Divine Realm he manages, the Divine Realm’s disciplinary measures might restore you to Creator Candidate status. Then you’ll be on equal footing and can start over.”
I didn’t miss the faint spark that flashed in Riasna’s eyes as she sniffled, covering her bright red, handprint-covered ass with her hands. It looked like she had found some kind of answer. Even her tears had stopped.
‘No matter how noble love is, it begins with recognizing the other person as an equal. Since the opponent has risen to the distant heights of a Creator God, there’s no way a mere Intermediate Main God like herself can form an equal relationship without rising to meet him. But becoming a Creator God is no easy feat. However, if you can’t climb up, dragging him down is also an excellent strategy. Seeing this, she’s clearly not a fool. Well, she was a candidate for Demon God King. There’s no way she could have reached that position with a bad head on her shoulders.’
No further words were needed. If she possessed the resolve to abandon herself for love, it also meant she could abandon the other party. I released the body I had pinned over my knee, sent it straight back to the treatment room’s bathroom, then looked at Himejina and spoke.
“What are our odds?”
“If you promote her to Creator God, about half. But…”
She couldn’t quite finish the sentence and glanced toward the treatment room where Riasna had gone. She didn’t say it aloud, but if Riasna saw the opponent and wavered like this again, she wouldn’t even be able to fight and would lose. And although Riasna lacked maturity, her stubbornness was immense. Forcing her to fight would mean she wouldn’t even display her original ability, let alone properly activate their joint authority.
This was both the greatest strength and weakness of their joint ultimate technique, God-Destroying Explosive Thunderflame. Individually they were only slightly above average, but when the two combined their power, even I before becoming the Origin of the Dimensional Clan would find them terrifyingly strong. However, while their joint authority displayed nearly top-tier power, if they fought alone or failed to coordinate, they became incredibly weak.
‘The more their breathing falls out of sync, the weaker they become. That’s the weakness. As individuals they are only slightly excellent, so they cannot fight separately. Beyond this, there’s nothing more I can do.’
All that remained was how well Himejina and Riasna could align their intentions and fight their past lover. This was something that couldn’t be solved by intimidation or scolding, so after pondering for a moment, a sudden question arose and I asked.
No matter how much gods claimed to never forget, eternal love did not exist. This was closer to manic obsession than love.
“Who the hell is this guy that even after being done in like that, she’s still acting like she can’t live without him?”
At those words, Himejina made a slightly troubled face before answering.
“If we speak only of appearance, he ranks among the very highest of Spiritual Beings in terms of handsomeness. Other female gods would ignore their instinctive hatred toward the divine race and show unconditional favor just by looking at his face. To the young Riasna, who had no experience with men at the time, it was only natural she would fall for him at first sight. I can understand her behavior even now.”
“……”
I was momentarily speechless at the casual assertion that acting so irrationally even after complete betrayal was perfectly understandable. Himejina continued speaking calmly as she recalled the past.
“He was tall, had an ideal physique, and possessed an extremely gentle personality that always considered and cared for women first. Of course, his background was also that of a direct descendant of a Highest Creator God, placing him at the very top of Spiritual Being status. He was a Creator Candidate from birth and possessed nearly absolute-level authority, which is why we—who were at the top among Demon God King candidates—were assigned as his opponents in the authentication battle. We even received orders from the Demon God Kings that he must never be allowed to ascend to Creator God.”
“……”
As the Magic God of Dimensions listened, something began to boil up from deep within.
‘This is the typical protagonist from those cliché stories.’
But it went even further.
“Moreover, when he played an instrument and sang, the gods and demon gods around him would stop whatever they were doing to listen. His dancing was so perfect that no one could match him. Even the gods of dance and song begged him to take them as disciples. And occasionally, the food he prepared at banquets was so delicious that even demon gods would shower him with praise.”
“……”
At this point, my anger had surpassed mere fury and turned into pure curiosity.
‘Something about this story feels off. Why would a God of Combat learn instruments and dance? There’s no way he’d learn temptation-type authorities that don’t help in battle. And he was even an expert-level cook? What was he wasting all that time for? Even if he’s good at miscellaneous skills, if his fundamental power is lacking, it’s all over. Is this guy even a normal god? The data on his authorities felt strange too.’
By the common sense of the Magic God of Dimensions, such a being shouldn’t exist. Himejina glanced at him as his doubts continued to grow, then recalled the opponent with an almost dreamy gaze.
“Furthermore, whenever it came to women’s affairs, he would help sacrificially without expecting any reward, regardless of race. And when he smiled while saying that women were more precious than anything else, everyone would lose their minds. As a Creator Candidate overflowing with such charm, he was loved by all the women of both the divine and demon god races.”
“……”
It was an explanation that naturally left one at a loss for words. Himejina usually acted seductive but was extremely cold and rational. For her to offer such praise meant every point she mentioned was far beyond ordinary levels.
‘In short, he’s the ideal man for women. His face is the most handsome among the divine race, he’s strong, tall, and has a great body—the basics are perfect. Add in good background, mastery of music and dance, and excellent cooking, and there’s nothing left to say. On top of that, he helps with women’s problems first regardless of race? This isn’t the protagonist of some romance novel. How can someone be this perfect? No wonder an ignorant young girl saw him and fell completely, ending up like that.’
Now that I had heard it, I finally understood why she couldn’t give up even after being treated that way. The documents I brought didn’t have a photo, but seeing his face in person later would probably make it even clearer. And the strange authorities made sense now too.
‘I’ll have to account for the possibility that Riasna will refuse to fight. With results like this, even the pretty-boy scheme can’t be ignored.’
Yet even as he felt something continuously off, the Magic God of Dimensions was about to rise from his chair and leave the treatment room when a thought suddenly flashed through his mind.
‘Being loved by all women is inherently unreasonable.’
In the Great Universe, there was no such thing as a perfect authority. This discrepancy was what had been bothering him.
“Wait—! If he was loved by all women, what about the men?”
That was where the entire problem lay.
“……”
At the question, Himejina made an extremely troubled face and spoke in a roundabout way.
“His reputation wasn’t very good. Because he focused on caring for women, he inevitably treated men relatively negligently. And because other men suffered losses by comparison, he received malicious evaluations.”
However, no further defense of the opponent followed. The Magic God of Dimensions cut her off with a voice sharp as a blade.
“Speak accurately—! No, speak in the worst possible terms.”
Sensing he was ready to invoke even the Main God of the Divine Realm’s absolute command authority if necessary, she told the truth.
“Because his divinity became the standard for evaluating new men, a great many men suffered losses. They called him a slave and pet of women, an extreme enemy of men, and a traitor.”
“Hah—!”
A burst of exclamation escaped the Magic God of Dimensions.
If one side sang his praises, the other side cursed him. Becoming someone’s ally meant becoming someone else’s enemy. Of course, the strong could establish their own standards and principles, but they had to accept that doing so would create enemies. Therefore, to avoid creating enemies and minimize backlash, one must never reveal or force their own standards on others. To ignore that and elevate it all the way to a divinity meant he was no ordinary opponent. No—if he had turned half of all forces, the men, into enemies and still maintained his current position, any thought of underestimating him had to be discarded.
“Good information. Thank you very much. If Riasna is wavering this much right before revenge, then you two should take on the other Lord Stars. I will handle that bastard personally.”
“Pardon?”
As the suddenly bewildered Himejina stared at him after being told to stay out of the Main God battle, he began providing additional explanation.
“When you were Demon God King candidates, you wouldn’t have lost even to a General Creator. Now I understand why you lost to a mere Creator Candidate. That bastard’s name as a Creator Candidate was ‘Lady First.’ That divinity prioritizes the protection of weak women and is a sacred power. However, the prerequisite for that protection is defining women as the weak. In other words, women can only ever be the weak before this divinity. No goddess could win against it without considerable resolve or power. You must have suspected it too, right? That’s why when Riasna gave up being a demon god and became part of the divine race, you realized you couldn’t win alone, became a goddess together with her, and waited for another chance to fight. Because if you lost the authentication battle without even fighting, you could never return. However, due to your incomplete conversion to the divine race, problems arose and you were immediately sent to the Spirit Realm, so you never got the chance. Meanwhile, the opponent won by default, became a Lord God, and even strengthened his authority. In that state, there’s no way for you two—who haven’t even recovered your past power—to win. In fact, even approaching him would be difficult. This divinity is thoroughly on the side of you women, so rather than fighting, there’s even a chance you would betray him immediately.”
“……”
Kiiiiiiiik—!
The Magic God of Dimensions threw open the recovery room door and tossed several additional documents to Himejina. Her eyes widened as she read their contents. They were detailed analyses performed by the Lord Gods—practically classified information—yet the contents far exceeded imagination.
“The Creator Candidate ‘Lady First’ who deceived you in the past is now the 2nd ranked Chief God Lord, Feminist. In the past, he merely defined female enemies as the weak and weakened their power. Now that ability has evolved into a wide-area authority that treats the protection of weak women as sacred and affects the surroundings. The women he leads can display maximum power as Gods of Combat against men. Additionally, it causes enemy women to betray their side and fight against the men from within. With this absolute authority that works on women regardless of whether they are from the divine or demon god races, he rose smoothly to the 2nd rank. However, the Demon God Kings, having realized it only affects women, have thoroughly pressured him using only male demon gods. That’s why he has only maintained his current rank and cannot become a proper Creator God. Serves him right for getting done in like this.”
The past enemy who had deceived them and sent them to the Spirit Realm had become far too strong.
