The Declaration of War
The war in the Otherworld had to happen. After all, he had received the Main God of the Divine Realm’s direct order. More than that, he was the only one among those around him who had opposed the conflict. In a moment like this, a single wrong word could turn him into a sacrifice for the opening of hostilities.
‘Looking at how thrilled the Main God of the Divine Realm and the Creator Candidates are about starting this war, speaking against it would probably get me killed.’ Yet when he wrote down the exact words the Main God of the Divine Realm had spoken, the message sounded less like a negotiation and more like a direct challenge to fight. The real problem was that if he refused to send it, the Main God of the Divine Realm was perfectly capable of doing it himself.
‘He’s the Magic God of Dimensions, so his administrative divine power is nothing to scoff at.’ The man had a personality that would start a war over someone interfering with his work. It was obvious what would happen to a subordinate who got in his way.
As the Magic God of Dimensions and the Creator Candidates returned to their personal temples to prepare for war, the Administrative Lord God was left alone. His face grew increasingly rigid as he drafted the message to be sent to the other Main Divine Realms and the official document for the Creation Realm.
In his head, the Main God of the Divine Realm’s relaxed tone swirled like a casual invitation to breakfast.
Even though he was called the God of Combat, the way he spoke of a brutal war was far too natural. He declared it with absolute confidence in victory, without the slightest hint of crisis or defeat. Not a single Creator Candidate showed fear or hesitation. They had already fought the Magic God of Dimensions directly and knew the outcome all too well.
‘It is impossible for lower-ranked Creator Gods to defeat a Creator who possesses near-perfect wide-area authority. His personal combat ability may not reach that of Almighty Hwi, but he clearly surpasses the other Main Gods of the Divine Realm.’
That was why the Administrative Lord God did not believe he could defeat someone who could face nine Main Divine Realms alone. He was simply worried about the massive damage that would result. While the hierarchy would be maintained, he also fretted over the reputation that might plummet to rock bottom.
Still, he gritted his teeth, used his authority to classify the document as top secret, and sent it immediately.
‘Now that I think about it, the Magic God of Dimensions who has become a true Creator God has no reputation left to lose as the Main God of the Divine Realm. There’s no downside to going to war. Those who dared to gang up and pick a fight just to tame their new superior are the ones at fault. From now on, it’s war for me too.’
The moment he sent the official documents to the other Administrative Lord Gods, an overwhelming flood of information exploded. The reactions to the unimaginable provocation were immediate and vicious. Demanding that the officials in charge of receiving and processing the documents bring their own heads to the Main God of the Divine Realm and apologize in person was absurd. Other Administrative Lord Gods immediately tried to use their authority to illegally infiltrate and uncover the exact situation.
Since the divine realms were all connected regardless of physical distance, anyone with sufficient power could gather information from afar. He blocked every single attempt and responded to each one personally.
“You’re lower in rank than me, yet you dare look down on your opponent before attacking? You should have listened when I spoke nicely.”
The blunt mockery, completely devoid of any political phrasing expected from an Administrative Lord God, made him feel the other party’s bewilderment. Slowly, he began to enjoy himself.
‘This feels incredibly refreshing.’
The one who had been most furious and irritated by the constant nitpicking and scheming was the Administrative Lord God himself. He had simply endured it all because he was alone while the lower ranks had united against him. But now that the Main God of the Divine Realm had acted so boldly, all his past patience felt foolish.
“Kk-! Now that I think about it, since it’s war anyway, there’s no need to hold back. This is my repayment for all the illegal infiltration attempts on the divine realm I protect. Eat this.”
For the first time in a long while, he mobilized every ounce of his authority as an Administrative Lord God and began attacking his opponents. Divine power like lightning began to shake the entire Main God Temple.
Crackle-crackle-crackle-crackle-crackle—!
Using the Main Divine Realm’s divine realm as a relay, he forced his way into the opponents’ Main Divine Realms with his authority. He then severed all communication lines and plastered the contents of the official document across every single notification panel in the enemy realms.
The same shocking message appeared on the work screens of every divine realm ranked from second to tenth. He had broadcast the explosive content to every god in the Main Divine Realms.
He had temporarily frozen all functions of the divine realms and forced the document to appear everywhere. Although he had only used his authority to infiltrate, he could clearly see the Administrative Lord Gods falling into panic. Controlling the divine realm egos for a moment to look at their faces brought him indescribable satisfaction. His body and divine power trembled with excitement.
Oooooooong—!
The ones who were truly thrown into chaos were, of course, the Administrative Lord Gods who had become the targets. They had finally managed to unite against the 1st ranked Main Divine Realm after it had been shaken by the change in Main God of the Divine Realm. The effect had been working—until the previously helpless 1st ranked Administrative Lord God suddenly launched a counterattack worthy of war itself.
They had never imagined he would bounce back all their infiltrating authority, completely ignore their defense systems, and even publicly expose a secret document. And the content was an insane threat demanding they bring their own heads and come apologize.
‘He made it so we can’t even return or alter the message.’
More unbelievable was how a single person had broken through the defense systems of multiple Main Divine Realms managed by peers of equal rank. As the Administrative Lord Gods desperately tried to figure out how to calm the situation and strengthen their defenses, a mocking voice rang in their ears.
“Kukuku—! No matter the domain, the 1st rank is special. There is a wall that lower ranks cannot overcome even if they unite. Against transcendent authority, a standard defense system is meaningless. You saw a momentary opening in the chaos and all rushed in at once. How fitting. Explain this properly to your respective Main Gods of the Divine Realm and guard your necks well.”
The Administrative Lord Gods had no idea how to respond to this behavior, which was completely different from the dignified and polite manner the 1st ranked Administrative Lord God had shown until now. Moreover, their lives were now on the line, making it even harder.
After playing a little prank in the enemy Main Divine Realm and withdrawing, the Administrative Lord God stood up, laughing loudly.
“Kukukukuku—! On second thought, war isn’t such a bad idea compared to talking. It may not be proper for an Administrative Lord God to say this, but when weaklings band together without fear and attack, one solid beating is far more effective than a hundred words. We, who have been trained by Almighty Hwi—the Origin of the Almighty God Tribe and the Hero God who mastered the incomprehensible Eight Ancestral Arts—are stronger than them. Both the Main God of the Divine Realm and the Creator Candidates, as well as all the high-ranking gods, are the highest of the high. I will thoroughly show them the true power of the immovable 1st ranked Main Divine Realm.”
Perhaps because the Main God of the Divine Realm was so belligerent, the Administrative Lord God seemed to have been influenced without realizing it. Or perhaps after rising to the highest rank, he had unconsciously longed for a situation where no one would dare challenge him directly. It had been so long since he had fought with all his strength that the memory was hazy. After living for so long, the passion for life that had faded away was returning.
“One-on-one would be boring, but nine opponents should be fun. Shall I cut loose for once?”
He immediately began urgently reinforcing the defense and attack systems he had built for the Main Divine Realm but had never actually used. There was no chance that any of the Administrative Lord Gods would actually bring their heads and come apologize in person. And even if one did, the others certainly wouldn’t. Therefore, war was inevitable.
Accomplishing military merit would grant the enormous reward of becoming a special existence equal to a Creator God under the Main God of the Divine Realm. Since simply opposing the war and interfering would likely lead to punishment, they quickly changed their stance to focus on earning achievements instead.
The Magic God of Dimensions watched this rapid shift in attitude from the Administrative Lord God with a faint, wry smile.
‘Having become the Origin of Dimensions, I can now observe not only the Dimensional Divine Realm but even the Main Divine Realm as easily as looking at the palm of my hand.’
It was safe to say he could perceive and understand everything within the star-system-scale dimensional barrier created by the Main Divine Realm. Inside a divine realm where his authority was amplified to the maximum, he could even detect fluctuations in emotion. At first there had been hesitation, but it had instantly flipped to fighting spirit. He nodded in approval.
‘I was watching him closely because I thought the anti-war faction might do something stupid, but my prediction was wrong again. No, he’s openly provoking them now. He avoids conflict as much as possible, but once it comes to this, he shows no mercy. Is this the confidence and behavior of the strong?’
True to his position as the 1st ranked Administrative Lord God, he had opposed the war, but the moment it was decided, he carried out his duties perfectly. He infiltrated the other Administrative Lord Gods’ realms, publicly displayed what amounted to a declaration of war, and narrowed their options. He was already accumulating military merit as if he had been a hardline warmonger all along.
‘In the end, the strong don’t wish for peace; they want to prove their power through victory. After all, the strength they gained came only after greater hardship and effort than anyone else. It means that even the Administrative Lord God’s pride and fighting spirit as the 1st rank were stronger than the rational thought that he must protect stability to maintain his position.’
In that sense, he was the same.
‘Having obtained the qualification of Dimensional Origin and become stronger, I want to prove it and show off to the entire Main Divine Realm and Creation Realm.’
The Magic God of Dimensions had finally obtained the absolute authority he was meant to possess. The power felt completely different from the Dimensional Authority or magic that had once left him feeling like a screw was loose, forcing him into desperate struggles against strong enemies. The authority of the Dimensional Clan’s Origin, reinterpreted and created by the Wind Family’s Dimensional Origin based on his own Dimensional Authority, was so powerful that it inspired instinctive respect.
He now clearly understood just how monstrous the Wind Family Origin truly was—someone said to possess 10-Center level martial prowess and talent that surpassed even that. Removing personal limits on talent was only a part of that authority.
‘My divine power is still insufficient to fully activate it, but even now it’s enough to instantly deal with my past self before becoming the Dimensional Origin. I finally understand why the 10 Centers tremble at the thought of direct intervention from the Wind Family Origin, who carries the bloodline of Truth.’
With the appearance of the Substitute Gods, the Absolute Realm’s two-circle superiority over the Master Universe had begun to waver. Enormous effort had gone into creating new higher authorities. Yet the strength of the Dimensional Clan was so great that it threatened to completely reorganize the hierarchy and order of the Absolute Realm’s existing prestigious clans. If that happened, the 10 Centers would have to bear the full aftermath and produce even greater authority and clans. Even for the 10 Centers, that was an incredibly difficult task.
He was now fully aware of the power he possessed as the Origin of a new prestigious clan.
‘Personally, I am at least equivalent to a high-ranking Creator God. If I can fully utilize the Creator Candidates of the Main Divine Realm at full strength, I am confident even against a Supreme Creator God.’
He no longer needed to risk his life striking at the rear, searching for weaknesses, or using any means necessary.
‘I am different from the past—! I’ve changed—! There’s no longer any need to run around pathetically looking for weaknesses. I will crush them all from the front.’
With his current strength, he could even engage in a bloody battle against the Highest Creator Gods depending on the situation. That was probably why he had so easily chosen the extreme option of leading the entire Main Divine Realm into a joint Main God Temple against the other nine.
No matter how he thought about it, there was no factor that could lead to defeat.
‘A war I can’t possibly lose. How enjoyable.’
Just thinking about the results after the war brought a smile that refused to leave his face. If he completely swept away the lower-ranked Main Divine Realms that dared to challenge him, there would be no Main God of the Divine Realm foolish enough to oppose him even if he were dispatched to the Otherworld.
‘The Substitute Gods have poured all their forces into establishing themselves in the Gray Realm of the Absolute Realm, so there won’t be any direct battles for a long time.’
The Demon God Clan would naturally not dare challenge the Main Divine Realm, which boasted the highest defensive power in the divine realms, unless it was a race-deciding battle. That was why he had placed the Dimensional Divine Realm right next to the Main God Temple and had not returned it to its original position.
Once he dealt with all nine Main Divine Realms, the Goddess Blood Alliance’s Goddess Lords and the Spirit Goddess Lords would all lower their heads of their own accord. The stronger he became, the more everything fell perfectly into place. It was truly a state of universal harmony.
‘In the end, if I handle this matter well and simply prove my strength, both the duties of the Main God of the Divine Realm and the Main God of the Divine Realm will take care of themselves.’
Inside his personal temple, he restored his body to peak condition. A satisfied smile never left his lips as he contemplated the upcoming battles where he would display the overwhelming might of the Dimensional Clan’s Origin.
If he showed the Creation Realm a war that could not possibly be ignored, even the Creator God King would be unable to dismiss him or talk about replacing him. A perfect future as the Origin of the Dimensional Clan lay before his eyes.
With his current strength, there was nothing to fear from the Main Gods of the Divine Realm.
‘Ah… I think I’m getting addicted to the arrogance of the strong.’
The Magic God of Dimensions, whose mood had improved tremendously, confirmed that the Main Divine Realm had completely shifted into war preparations. Laughing, he stepped into his personal temple.
Now that even the sole anti-war faction—the Administrative Lord God—had switched to approval, the Dimensional Divine Realm of the Magic God of Dimensions saw every force plunge headfirst into preparations for war.
