The Creator God's True Fury
The Otherworld War erupted with a deafening roar—!
It was the genuine wrath and killing intent of a Creator God wielding the absolute authority known as the Incomprehensible Eight Founders. The sheer hostility was so overwhelming that even high-ranking gods would tremble, transcending space itself to engulf the Dimensional Divine Realm.
Rumble rumble rumble rumble rumble rumble rumble—!
The ones struck directly by that wave were the Transcendents waiting on the moon. They had been stationed at the Dimensional Lord’s Temple, growing accustomed to divine artifacts and divine power. But as newly ascended Lower Gods, many of them vomited blood and collapsed on the spot.
“Guhhhk—!”
“Uwek—!”
Thud. Thud.
The sounds of bodies collapsing while spitting blood echoed everywhere. Even Intermediate Gods felt their minds and bodies churn as if they might shatter. The Hero God clenched his teeth and shouted.
This feels exactly like the first time I saw the Demon King descend upon the Middle World back when I was a greenhorn hero just starting my journey. I can endure this.
It was actually a little worse, but the sensation was familiar. Back then, he had been stuck below the 6th Circle while the Demon King was a 10th Circle mage. He had barely escaped with his life thanks to the Divine Sword, gathered his comrades, reached the limit of the 7th Circle, and only then managed to defeat it on his second attempt.
But the gap this time is at least three Circles—no, four Circles or more. So this is what a Creator God feels like?
His mind instinctively sensed an insurmountable wall and tried to submit. But he knew from past experience that surrendering to a Demon King would earn no mercy. Desperately, he forced his collapsing body to move and dodged.
Even when he faced it again later, it had been difficult, but at least he no longer made the same disgraceful mistakes. He had adapted through sheer resolve.
“Don’t look directly at it—! Suppress your senses as much as possible—! You’ll get used to it soon!”
This kind of overwhelming pressure from a superior being is most dangerous the first time a living creature encounters it. In fact, a normal response is impossible. However, intelligent beings like humans possess adaptability that surpasses even the divine race. As long as life persists and the body does not exceed the limits of what can be healed, they eventually adapt and grow stronger.
At his shout, the Lower Gods hurriedly bowed their heads toward the ground and gasped for breath. He looked at his comrades. Compared to how he had been when he first saw the Demon King, they were in remarkably good shape.
Good. It’s possible. A lot of it is thanks to having adapted to the divine power of the Dimensional Mage God, a Preliminary Creator God whose divinity rivals that of a true Creator. But what kind of battle is this? Are all divine race battles like this? Was I really trying to fight beings like these?
He had heard the general story, but the events unfolding now were so outrageous and beyond common sense that he couldn’t even begin to understand what was happening. It had started with an entire planet being moved, and then there was that god in the distance—far larger than the allied planet—who seemed to be on their side. Even its divine spirit was trembling in terror.
On top of that, the sight of the Dimensional Mage God chanting a spell and transforming into a body larger than a mountain range left everyone so stunned they couldn’t react to anything else. If even an Intermediate God like himself was like this, the other Lower Gods were practically fainting; they couldn’t even dare to look at his face.
At this scale, the rumors that entire races had been exiled from the stars or wiped out no longer felt like exaggeration—they felt like cold, hard reality.
Then, as if responding to the Creator God’s killing intent, the Dimensional Mage God shouted with clear delight.
“Gahaha—! Excellent—! To receive such pure hostility and fighting spirit from the enemy’s leader—! In the battlefield of a Mage God, this is the highest praise. Consider it my sincere courtesy in return—!”
The attack began once more.
Shooshshooshshooshshoosh—!
At the same time, an ear-splitting roar tore through the air. The Dimensional Mage God, now transformed into a colossal body of immeasurable size, had concentrated his divine power to its absolute limit and hurled a massive spear toward the Main Divine Realm.
The speed of the Dimensional Creator Divinity thrown at full force by the Creator Great God Seongmyeol and the divine realm itself was already so fast that even an Intermediate God’s senses couldn’t track it. What had been described as “a star visible for a moment” was now close enough to reveal the enormous temple with its ceiling opened on the enemy planet.
The target of the thrown spear was immediately obvious. A spear over ten thousand kilometers long and of immeasurable weight was flying toward that temple at a speed invisible to the eye. With the divine power and force contained within it, the spear would undoubtedly pierce straight through even a massive planet.
Just as that thought crossed their minds, someone leaped upward from the temple whose ceiling had opened.
“Dimensional Mage God, you bastard—! Inyeonmusang (人緣無償).”
"Incomprehensible Eight Founders, Third Movement—Inyeonmusang (人緣無償)"
"The bond between people carries no compensation."
⟨ Inyeonmusang ⟩
Effect: Depending on the level of training, grants complete immunity to close-combat authorities. Additional effect: Dramatically enhances the user’s own close-combat authorities beyond their limits. Once mastered to this degree, it grants overwhelming superiority against beings of equal or higher rank.
Hwi of Omnipotence raised his body into the empty space above the Main God’s Temple to block the giant spear, crossing both arms in front of him. To the Lower Gods, it looked like utter recklessness. A mountain-sized spear was falling at invisible speed—yet this Creator God was trying to stop it with a mere human-sized body. There was a limit to how reckless one could be.
But in the next instant, everyone’s eyes widened until they nearly tore apart.
The spear had stopped dead the moment it touched the palms of both hands that had shot forward from his crossed arms.
Crackle crackle crackle crackle—!
Of course, he couldn’t immediately dissipate the immense physical force that even a Main God could not resist. Sparks like flames erupted from his palms and the spear’s tip, scorching everything around them.
The Hero God’s comrades, who had gained some immunity to the overwhelming pressure of high-ranking gods after fighting the Demon King, witnessed the scene clearly and cried out in shock.
“What the—! He caught that giant spear with raw power!”
“It’s not power—! He’s redirecting it. But what the hell is that?”
“Where did the immutable physical laws of force balance and homeostasis go? Wait, I’m a Magic God who distorts reality, so I probably shouldn’t be saying that, but still—this is insane—!”
Although they had only recently become Intermediate Gods, they were former companions of the Hero God who had fought the Demon King as representatives of all sentient beings in the Middle World. In other words, they were the highest-level swordsman, fist fighter, and mage among all living creatures. They could roughly gauge how much power, technique, and authority would be required to achieve such a feat.
Of course, that realization only brought despair, since they knew they could never reach that level themselves.
The Hero God’s comrades, too intimidated by the giant form of the Dimensional Mage God right in front of them to speak aloud, hurriedly exchanged their thoughts.
Don’t tell me he expects us to fight something like that? There’s no way we can win—!
Aaaah—! I’d rather just die comfortably. Oh wait—I’m a god, I can’t die. I hate bugs too.
Hero God—! That bastard dragged us into another grave.
Completely ignoring his comrades’ gloomy, resentful thoughts, the Hero God simply stared at Hwi of Omnipotence, who had blocked the giant spear with his bare hands, with eyes burning with fighting spirit. Then, as if he had reached a conclusion, his face brightened. He sent a message to his comrades and fellow warriors and shouted in a loud voice.
“It’s no different from when we fought the Demon King! If we combine our hearts and fight together, we can win! Let’s muster our courage and give it everything we’ve got—! I’ll take the lead! For all our comrades and every living being—!”
“……”
It was an inspiring speech, but they had heard it so many times before that it didn’t move their hearts at all. If anything, it only irritated them. Of course, some of the Transcendents seemed genuinely moved by his silver tongue and were even raising their fighting spirit, but those who had fought alongside him for a long time were simply grinding their teeth at yet another repetition of this pattern.
All they could remember was the repeated past in which they had fallen for those words, fought the Demon King with their lives on the line, suffered severe injuries, and spent years groaning in pain. On top of that, while the Sword God and Fist God only suffered physical wounds, the Magic God had taken damage to both his mana and soul, suffering several times more. That was why the Magic God, who harbored the deepest grudge, was about to throw a fit.
“This… hik—!”
But only his mind moved. His body refused.
Kwooooooo—!
The moment the giant Dimensional Mage God took a step after throwing the spear, a tremendous roar and vibration slammed into them from right beside them. The sight of an incomparably massive foot and their own tiny forms triggered an additional memory. They recalled the time they had been forcibly turned into bugs for interfering with the Hero God’s authority activation and trampled on. Goosebumps ran down their spines.
In the end, all they could do was clamp their mouths shut and send resentful glares. They had no choice but to give up and accept that they would have to do it again this time.
Then, into the ears of the Hero God and his comrades came the voice of the Dimensional Mage God, unable to hide his amusement.
“Kuk kuk—! As I thought, it’s not your true body. So instead of perfectly tuning an unfamiliar Creator God’s body—which would take time—you chose to learn a higher mystery? Still, under normal circumstances you should be able to return it immediately, yet you’re only able to block it? Cluck cluck—! Very good—! Extremely good—! Prepare for impact.”
At the same time, the rear portion of the giant spear that Hwi of Omnipotence was blocking began to extend at explosive speed.
Shooshshooshshoosh—!
Kwaaaaang—!
The elongated rear of the spear naturally embedded itself right beside the Dimensional Mage God. He grabbed it with both hands and fixed it in place once more. Hwi of Omnipotence’s face twisted in shock at the sudden change. He had realized what was about to happen.
An enormous weight suddenly pressed down on the tip of the spear. The Dimensional Mage God had fused the spear with the moon and was trying to push it forward with raw force.
“Don’t underestimate me—! I am Hwi of Omnipotence—! Haaaaaaaah—!”
He once again drew out his authority and physical strength to their limits to endure it. Seeing the giant spear bend like a bow, he was confident of victory. If he could just hold on like this, the spear would shatter, and he could immediately close in and subjugate the Dimensional Mage God. Tens of thousands of Lower Gods were nothing more than an annoyance.
Kwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa—!
But the anomaly continued. The force and weight loaded onto the spear kept increasing beyond what he could handle. Hwi of Omnipotence’s face, startled by the sudden increase in weight, grew even redder as he grasped the situation. He had definitely stopped the giant spear. But at that moment, the elongated rear of the spear had touched the moon. He had even blocked the charge of the moon now fused with the giant spear.
Naturally the moon stopped, and the collision with the Dimensional Divinity following behind was inevitable. Blood began to spurt from the muscles in Hwi of Omnipotence’s arms.
Kwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang—!
The bodies of the Transcendents who had been neatly lined up were sent flying like dry leaves by the shock of the planet and moon colliding.
“Uwaaaaaaaaaah—!”
“Kyaaaaaaaaa—!”
Even though they were Lower Gods, maintaining formation under a shockwave that felt like it would kill them instantly was impossible. All they could do was cling to the moon with every ounce of strength they had.
The Dimensional Mage God’s triumphant laughter rang across the moon.
“Puhahahahahat—! Take that—! This is a full-powered strike combining my full strength, the weight of the Dimensional Moon, and the Creator Divinity! With your half-baked Creator God body, you can never stop it!”
That declaration became reality.
Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaeng—!
Kwaaaaaaaaang—!
The giant spear, bent like a bow from being blocked by Hwi of Omnipotence, snapped back into a straight line with a tremendous roar. Almost simultaneously, Hwi of Omnipotence, who had desperately altered its trajectory at the cost of injury, barely managed to prevent a direct hit on the Main God’s Temple of the Main Divine Realm.
However, the giant spear embedded near the temple released its stored shock and mass, completely destroying every temple surrounding the Main God’s Temple and sending their fragments flying into the air. Watching the Main Gods inside those temples shoot into the sky in panic, the color slowly drained from Hwi of Omnipotence’s face.
“……”
He had expended an enormous amount of divine power and endured a heavy physical burden by mobilizing even the planet and moon in that spear strike, yet he had still failed to completely block it. In the end, although he had protected the Main God’s Temple, the central area surrounding it had been utterly destroyed. If he had been in the perfect body of a Preliminary Creator God, such a thing would never have happened.
Fortunately, most of the destructive force had been deflected, and the additional planetary attack had only used weight, so the Main Divine Realm’s Creator Divinity had not been pierced and destroyed. The Dimensional Creator Divinity and the Main Divine Realm’s Creator Divinity had stopped in a form connected by the giant spear.
Nevertheless, the fact that every temple belonging to the other Main Gods except the Main God’s Temple had been destroyed was a fatal loss. It was so devastating that even if he were immediately declared defeated, he would have nothing to say in response.
Yet the enemy had suffered no damage. In all the years he had trained in the Incomprehensible Eight Founders, he had faced trials for glory, but never a humiliating defeat like this.
Hwi of Omnipotence stared for a moment at the Main Divine Realm he ruled falling into complete chaos, then a low mutter escaped his heart.
“I suppose I really do have to kill them all.”
Having finally made the cruel decision, killing intent slowly replaced all emotion on Hwi of Omnipotence’s face. And then he began to run along the giant spear that now lay like a bridge between stars. At the end of it was the being that had inflicted this humiliation upon him.
The movements of Hwi of Omnipotence, who had never lost his characteristic relaxed tone and expression, were now terrifyingly cold and fast as he charged toward his target. The fragments of temples flying everywhere were caught in his charge, pulverized, and scattered.
“Oh—! He’s properly pissed now. The spear’s position is even better than planned. Well done.”
“Just leave it to me.”
A Creator God was charging toward them, radiating killing intent after suffering catastrophic damage to the Main Divine Realm he ruled, yet the Dimensional Mage God and the Hero God spoke without the slightest hesitation. Their expressions suggested that everything was proceeding exactly as they wished.
However, the Hero God’s comrades and the Transcendents—who had received no information about the plan in order to maintain absolute secrecy—grew rapidly gloomier.
What are we supposed to do? Don’t tell me he wants us to stop that rampaging Creator God?
They had nearly died from nothing but the enemy’s hostile wave the first time they saw him. Now that they had to fight him directly, there was no way they could handle it. Yet there was still hope. It was the existence of the gigantic Dimensional Mage God, who was stepping forward without the slightest fear to face a Creator God radiating such terrifying fighting spirit and killing intent.
He was already closing in on Hwi of Omnipotence, about to collide with him in midair. To anyone watching, the sight of a human body—far too small compared to the mountain-sized fist of a giant god—about to clash looked overwhelmingly favorable for the Dimensional Mage God.
Still, with the Dimensional Mage God here, maybe we have a chance…
There’s no other way, so we have no choice but to do our best.
Just as the Transcendents were making such hopeful observations and gripping the lower-grade divine artifacts they had been distributed, the Hero God’s desperate shout rang out.
“Lie flat with all your strength—!”
Connected as they were by the Hero God’s wide-area authority Indomitable, they reflexively obeyed and pressed themselves flat against the moon’s surface. And they soon learned why.
Kwa-jijijijik—!
The sound of muscles and bones shattering rang through the air. Blood sprayed out like a waterfall, splattering across the moon’s surface. The one who had been hit was the Dimensional Mage God. His right hand had been completely crushed and was scattering into space.
He had been overwhelmed by Hwi of Omnipotence’s concentrated power and authority that ignored the difference in mass. Hwi of Omnipotence had shattered the right hand of the giant Dimensional Mage God far too easily and still seemed to have power to spare. He was being sent flying toward the distant Dimensional Divinity and divine realm as if a bullet had pierced him.
What was even more terrifying was that the blood couldn’t withstand the shockwave and burst outward in all directions like a bomb exploding. It was hard to comprehend how much force had to be concentrated to create such a sight.
The gigantic body of the Dimensional Mage God, who had just been displaying overwhelming power and authority with that massive form, was now collapsing toward the moon. The Hero God’s comrades and the Transcendents stared with their mouths agape at the sight of the Main God of the Divine Realm, who had been dominating them with that colossal body only moments ago, now falling toward them.
If they were crushed like this, they—as Lower Gods—would die. Yet they couldn’t even think of dodging.
A giant mountain range over ten thousand kilometers long is falling from the sky. Where could we possibly run?
Even if they somehow survived, just thinking about the fury of that Creator God left them in utter despair.
