The Origin's Complete Release
The Creator God of the Substitute Gods, transformed from the Magic God of Dimensions amid the Spirit Realm War, kept emitting deep vibrations that revealed just how immensely pleased he was feeling. Even though reason had vanished and only instinct remained, the combat will for magic and struggle still burned strong. And he was utterly delighted with this Substitute God body—one so transcendent that it surpassed even the Creator God he had become.
“Wooong—! Uuuwoong—!”
Continuous magic amplification successful. Output rising.
His body trembled with a sense of boundless freedom he had never felt before, even in a form without limits—as if he had finally slipped free of restraints that had bound him for eternity.
The cracks that had been staining the silver surface red now covered nearly every inch, and the center was splitting open like an egg about to hatch.
The driving force behind it was the divine power output being amplified by the vitality and magic stolen from enemies whose numbers had swelled into the tens of trillions.
The output had already climbed into the ten-trillion range.
BOOM—! BOOM—!
In the airless void of space, roars that should have been impossible to propagate still stabbed into the ears like thunder. True to magic’s nature of denying reality, the laws twisted, and the power now elevated beyond mere authority—something that could only be called a Title—called Dimension manifested that truth and reshaped the outcome into its optimal form.
CRAAAAACK—!
A colossal hand rose from the blood-drenched, fractured surface of the Substitute God’s planetary body.
“Uuuuwoooong—!”
Manifesting Giant Race form.
The hand slowly pried the gap wider. What gradually emerged was a divine being far larger than any Main God Star. The divine power radiating from it was, at the very least, over ten trillion.
It was the moment the entire Main Universe learned the truth: a true Substitute God amplified every aspect of the divine race’s basic form by more than a hundredfold, while the planetary shape was a stabilized version limited to roughly ten times the base.
The reason became immediately apparent.
UUUUUUUUUUUWOONG—! UUUUUUUUUUUWOONG—!
All nearby vitality and every form of energy began pouring into the Substitute God who had finally reclaimed his true shape. A normal god’s body absorbed vitality to sustain itself, but at over a hundred times the speed, the surrounding space itself could not endure. The God Realm’s guardian deities and overlord gods directly affected by the pull poured every ounce of their strength into anchoring space, yet even they were steadily drained.
Simply by existing, the being surpassed the vitality-absorbing capacity of the Guerrilla Volcano.
Sighs erupted across countless realms in both the Main Universe and the Absolute Realm at the sight.
Phew! This is the 499th Master Universe—the one that operates a Main God Star exceeding a hundred times an ordinary planet. We had expectations, but as expected, they cannot handle that horrifying vitality consumption.
Many had planned to transfer everyone into that perfect body once it was complete. Yet watching the Main Universe itself teeter on the brink of collapse, withering from lack of vitality, made it clear the plan still belonged to a distant future.
“As expected, the current Main Universe cannot sustain the original Substitute Race. Does the domain begin collapsing the moment it opens?”
“The vitality consumption of a mere liberated general Creator God of the Substitute Race is that extreme? It’s almost at Creator General level.”
“No matter how outstanding the body’s performance, the fuel efficiency is terrible. What a headache.”
“The real problem isn’t fuel efficiency—it’s the Main Universe’s chronic lack of vitality.”
“No matter how high the harvesting capacity, the core issue is having enough vitality to last through the period. In the Absolute Realm it wouldn’t matter, but since there are already countless beings with even stronger bodies obtained through training, it’s meaningless. Who would actually use that thing? It needs further refinement.”
“Applying it to the Main Universe will still require more time.”
“Then the Cyber Realm will have to keep producing restraints and managing operations. It’s the only place with that kind of capacity. Since they’re the only ones descended from the original administrators, it’s a fitting duty.”
“In terms of pure ability they’re nearly worthless except for a handful of special-class Cyber Gods, but they remain useful for Main Universe administration and Substitute God manufacturing. We have no choice but to keep entrusting them with the task.”
The beings who had hoped this time would be different—after the Magic God of Dimensions suddenly appeared and manifested the Substitute Race in an entirely new form—now voiced their complaints.
A wait spanning nearly five hundred billion years was no short period, even for Eternal Beings. Yet at this rate, it seemed they would need to wait even longer before a satisfactory result emerged.
“He unexpectedly clings to the past. Does he wish to preserve even things connected to them in such a manner?”
“Half of him is still human. They call that sort of thing nostalgia.”
“Do not touch him. If we’re careless, every one of us could end up as restrained Substitute Race Creator Candidates performing eternal labor instead of the liberated ones. His current unstable state—where he indulges in meaningless emotional games—is the most preferable.”
“That is true. But when will we advance into the Otherworld at this rate? Only a Substitute God body can prevent power degradation there. Yet what value or hope is there in the Cyber Realm when they struggle even to maintain restraints, let alone improve the race?”
“Then why don’t you—the most dissatisfied one—go protest to him directly? He’d probably turn you into a bug, Eternal Being or not. An incompetent Eternal Being who cannot even create something surpassing the Substitute Race he himself designed five hundred billion years ago, daring to act arrogantly? Immediate disposal.”
“Back to square one.”
“Yes, this is how it always goes. It is an unchanging truth and fact that will not shift unless we produce a body superior to the Substitute Race he created. And for us, who have gained emotions toward the Main Universe he made, this is the optimal path.”
“We must ensure he does not revert to being the original Eternal of Eternals.”
“Then remember that we too would be judged incompetent and disposed of.”
Every ruler in the Absolute Realm knew exactly why he had assigned the manufacturing of Substitute Gods to the Cyber Realm.
It is the side effect of unstable emotions caused by a body halted at the stage of human puberty.
Yet they dared not speak further, because they understood that the very emotions they mocked allowed them to criticize him behind his back and still survive.
Frankly, even if he chose to erase them all right now and replace them with Substitute Gods, no being in the Absolute Realm could stop him.
Should he return to his original state now, the Great Judgment from five hundred billion years ago—when ninety percent of all personnel were disposed of—would occur once more.
He was never merely an Absolute of Truth. He was the Absolute of Absolutes, the Eternal of Eternals.
He possessed no emotions; he was the very crystallization of pure, rational intellect. The Grey Sage had shaped him that way, and through teachings and battles with the Eight Absolutes he had been strengthened even further. Yet because of his blood tie to the Transcendent known as the Symbol of Power and the promise he had made with himself, he had voluntarily descended to his current level. That was the only reason mediocre beings still drew breath.
The moment such a being abandoned the emotionally impossible goal of eternal happiness within this limited Main Universe and instead pursued the rational objective of eternal prosperity, all this freedom and happiness would end.
They would all become Substitute Gods moving purely by instinct for the sake of the Main Universe’s development, without reason.
That outcome would be no different from the Eternal Beings who currently strutted about as Creators within the Main Universe. A world filled with Substitute Gods—over a hundred times superior to the sluggish divine race or unstable demon race, advancing endlessly—was the proper goal an original Eternal Being should pursue.
If they continue displaying such stuttering disgrace, they will be disposed of immediately and remade into the original liberated Substitute Race.
The spiritual body’s ultimate limit, something even Creator Gods struggled to handle, was the Substitute Race. It possessed infinite potential. For now, however, it was simply left alone—because even after absorbing vitality far beyond measure, it still hungered, dismantling and devouring the surrounding space itself.
That was why, should the liberated Substitute Race’s Creator God run wild, even Eternal Beings would be in critical danger. It was precisely why the Creators who understood its original performance and effects felt anxious and kept delaying their decision.
Whether the Magic God of Dimensions had finally completed his transformation, the ability status finally began to appear.
The Creators of the Main Universe shook their heads at the absurd statistics of the liberated Substitute Race’s Dimensional Creator God.
A mere Main God with only 7.5 billion innate divine power had pushed his output past ten trillion by fully mobilizing the magic, authorities, and titles granted to him. Furthermore, when leading a Main Universe-scale army, he became a transcendent powerhouse surpassing even Absolutes.
If the wide-area destruction authority he displayed earlier detonates twenty times simultaneously, every ordinary opponent below that threshold will be annihilated.
Of course, this level still could not face Eternal Beings—it would simply take time. Yet what absurd authority this was. Most importantly, the Dimension authority—now elevated nearly to Title level—meant the army under his command could affect Eternal Beings.
The ability itself existed on a different plane, so there was no chance of defeat. Still, the mere sliver of a possibility that countless such beings might swarm at once sent a chill down their spines.
It is impossible now, but the Magic God of Dimensions—with his wide-area authority specialized in battlefield control and growth support—will one day guide countless beings into the same domain as himself.
In that despairing scenario where infinitely many beings with output exceeding ten trillion charge forward, even an Eternal Being would only barely survive.
Just what is he thinking, tolerating such beings?
The very target of those doubts nodded as he observed the finally confirmed output readings of the Dimensional Magic God.
Although the output is noticeably lacking compared to the power an original Dimensional Absolute should possess, the special abilities are very much to my liking. A Dimensional Absolute specialized in battlefield control and growth support through wide-area authority—such a precious existence is rare indeed.
Even his personal ability, with most of his computational power diverted to the wide-area authority and thus reduced, remained strong enough to fight desperately against equals. Moreover, achieving all this in merely a hundred years was delightful.
“That is his current limit. It seems the punishment was worth giving.”
At the word punishment, the three beings who had been sitting comfortably in lotus position simultaneously wore strange expressions.
To the Absolute of Truth, only Eternal Judgment existed. Unlike a trial where innocence or guilt was decided, Eternal Judgment was never one-sided. Punishment and reward always coexisted.
The reward he bestowed could appear as the cruelest possible disposition to outsiders, while the punishment could be an incredible honor. The side effect arose because his standards—shaped by eons of existence—were simply too vast and different.
That was why he almost never spoke the word punishment directly; he usually called it disposition.
Is the opponent that important? Wide-area authority is valuable, but individually he looks no higher than low-class.
He was a Dimensional Absolute so weak that any elite God of War under them—the highest rulers of the Absolute Realm—could defeat him easily.
Even with ten trillion output, he possesses no personally useful transcendent authorities.
Of course, leading a large army would change things, yet even the first Origin who challenged with forces above Main Universe scale had ultimately been erased. It was proof that personal ability was paramount. By that standard, the being was not even worthy of a personal audience.
Yet here he was, visibly delighted and pondering what reward to grant.
Questions arose, but they simply watched the screen in silence.
No special point can be seen no matter which Substitute Race Creator God he becomes upon liberation.
With only the power he has changed into now, he overwhelms the divine race forces of the 500th Master Universe, yet that level of strength is possessed by any of the elite God of Wars in the Absolute Realm.
If he possessed even one of the Origin or Dimension that the Magic God of Dimensions held, he would become incomparably stronger. From the perspective of gods, demon gods, or dragon gods, he was absolutely not an existence worthy of receiving both the coveted Title and Authority at once—treasures every other being desperately sought.
The potential he possesses is merely ordinary. His talent is so pitiful that one wants to praise the sheer effort it took for him to grow this strong.
Eventually they gave up further speculation and asked directly.
“No matter how we look at it, he is not an opponent worthy of receiving the Title Origin or the Authority Dimension. If that is the limit of a God of War even after receiving such support, he is a low-class being in the Absolute Realm. We cannot understand why you would grant two such things simultaneously to an existence who cannot even handle one. Though useless to us, they are treasures other beings would risk their lives to obtain. There must be a reason. Grandfather, please enlighten your foolish descendants.”
There was no doubt anywhere that their judgment was mistaken. Nor was he the sort to scatter such important things on a mere whim. Their ideal objective was far too cold and precise for that.
Had it not been for the unstable body of puberty, everything except themselves would have been replaced with Substitute Gods and the domain would have already expanded into the Otherworld. Because that was the more beneficial path.
Even now, the beings of the Otherworld trying to somehow observe and interfere with their Absolute Realm and Main Universe are irritating.
Had that person not been blocking and overseeing all of it, war would have already broken out.
Even if our power drops to one ten-thousandth in the Otherworld, we would face no problem.
The Otherworld would already have been reduced to scorched earth and placed under our management.
The person leading such transcendent beings as themselves was originally an existence without emotion toward enemies. He calculated benefit with cold reason and carried out only mechanical dispositions. It was only thanks to the unstable emotions of puberty that such cold reason was restrained. Otherwise, the Main Universe would look nothing like it did now.
Whether that would have been better or worse was unknown, but at least they could be certain that the only ones capable of judgment were themselves—his descendants.
Even we would dispose of every existence below standard.
Reason does not tolerate deviation from itself, while only emotion acknowledges difference. In that respect, they were grateful to Saiana, the Grey Sage who had created this world.
Because he possessed unstable emotions, he answered even such foolish questions kindly—without hiding his joyful expression.
“I gave it because of that.”
GOOOOOOO—!
The Magic God of Dimensions, now fully transformed into a Substitute Race Creator God the size of a Main God Star, spread his wings to their fullest extent.
