The Spread of the Web
Every morning without fail, the coffee waited on my desk exactly as promised.
The small, sharp black dot beneath the plastic lid sat in the same spot as yesterday, and the faint warmth that brushed my fingertips through the paper cup felt almost identical.
I lifted the cup lightly. A crisp white sheet of paper rose with it, folded neatly beneath the bottom.
Ha Eun-seo: Assistant Manager-nim. You don’t have to reply. I’ll just leave it like this every day.
Exactly the same sentence as yesterday. The only difference was the corners of the writing trembled slightly from embarrassment.
I opened the desk drawer, then shoved the note beside the one I had already hidden yesterday. The two sheets overlapped inside, making the drawer look strangely full. My hand hesitated a beat before closing the lid, as if trying to bury the evidence.
I turned on my phone. The heartbreaking begging messages she had sent before dawn still remained.
[Ha Eun-seo: Am I the only crazy person?]
[Ha Eun-seo: I’ll leave coffee at the office tomorrow too]
[Ha Eun-seo: You really don’t have to reply to my messages……]
A vicious read-ignoring.
The moment I typed even one line, Eun-seo would mistake my answer for permission.
To squeeze her deeper into the emptiness, I touched the keyboard not a single time today.
I tore the plastic lid off the paper cup. The thick, bitter coffee aroma shot straight into the morning air.
After taking a deep gulp of the hot liquid, I finally pushed out the images of the 4th-floor women’s restroom that had been spinning in my head all day.
The enclosed space had been far too risky to reuse for security reasons.
Every time the faucet in the sink stopped, the footsteps in the hallway outside pierced straight through the stalls.
Even the sound of a single person’s shoes stopped outside the door made the narrow space feel suffocating.
Worse still, leaving my desk repeatedly during the same hours would draw eyes. Eun-seo and I were both too obvious.
The next encounter had to look like perfect, coincidental luck.
A normal place where people came and went freely, and no one would suspect anything even if the two of us happened to meet. There was such a place inside the company.
I quietly rose from my seat and walked toward the window.
Through the slats of the blind, I saw the isolated alley beside the building.
The company smoking booth, made of glass and black frames.
The exact spot where Seo Jae-won climbed down to smoke several times a day.
Eun-seo was already sitting upright in her place.
Sky-blue shirt, tight black office skirt.
Even though her knees had been bruised bright red on the cold bathroom tiles yesterday, the thick flesh-colored stockings hid them modestly.
She met my eyes. Her lips parted instinctively, then closed again in panic.
Greeting me was the clumsy move that had failed in the company cafeteria yesterday. Today she stood there like a slave checking my eyes before typing.
I only gave the tiniest nod, then turned on my monitor.
As soon as the morning shift began, the entire planning meeting was called.
Just before the projector beam turned on, Seo Jae-won leaned over my partition with his takeout coffee and propped his chin on his hand.
Seo Jae-won: Hey, Han Si-woo. What did you really do with Eun-seo yesterday?
Han Si-woo: I just ate lunch in the cafeteria with her, that’s all.
Seo Jae-won: You ate lunch together like that for an hour? What a loser.
His words were playful, but the axe in his eyes was deadly serious. I pointed silently at the numbers on my monitor.
Han Si-woo: There was a long line at the cafeteria, so I was late.
Seo Jae-won: Tsk. Of course. What a fucking bore.
He laughed coldly, then glanced at Eun-seo.
Eun-seo was furiously typing, but her mouse cursor still circled the same Excel cell without a soul.
Just before the meeting-room lights went out, Eun-seo sat in the empty chair right beside me, papers clutched to her chest.
In the usual order, she would have chosen Seo Jae-won’s seat. Today she was deliberately sitting in the one empty spot beside me.
Between the narrow space where our elbows almost brushed, her quick breaths pressed against my skin first.
The numbers on the projector screen flipped rapidly. Seo Jae-won waved his laser pointer from the head of the table as if he knew everything.
I never once looked at Eun-seo during the meeting. While pretending to ignore her, her hot gaze never once drifted from the projector.
At this stage, there was no need to force hypnosis. A tight web of eye contact was enough.
After the morning session, during the short break, Seo Jae-won stood up first, itching for a smoke.
Eun-seo started to follow, then glanced at me. I closed my notebook softly and gave a short, low command.
Han Si-woo: Go to the smoking booth by the building.
There was no question or suggestion in my voice.
Eun-seo nodded small, papers still pressed tight to her chest.
Seo Jae-won had already taken the elevator down to the first floor. I waited a moment, then chose the emergency stairs and descended quickly.
Eun-seo’s high heels followed a beat late, clicking on the corridor tiles.
The smoking booth was a closed space of glass and black frames in the isolated alley.
Inside, the outside world was visible, and from outside, the movement inside was laid bare.
Only thin cigarette smoke seeped through the cracks.
Eun-seo stopped just at the threshold of the booth.
Ha Eun-seo: Assistant Manager-nim…… you don’t smoke at all, why are we here…….
Han Si-woo: I know. Come inside. No more words.
I led her to the shadowed corner where the hallway CCTV would not catch us.
Her soft shoulder slipped between the cold glass wall and my broad forearm.
The sleeve of her sky-blue shirt touched my black one. Her employee badge swung once between her breasts.
Eun-seo already had my soul under her eyes.
There was no need to force her eyes open. One command into her pupils was enough.
Han Si-woo: From now on, right now, look straight at only me.
A short, arrogant order.
Eun-seo blinked. Her swollen red lips quivered, then she nodded tiny and fragile.
Ha Eun-seo: ……Yes, Assistant Manager-nim. I will only look at you.
Faint laughter from Seo Jae-won drifted from across the street, still far below.
Eun-seo had heard his voice clearly, yet she had not moved her eyes an inch from me.
She stared at my arrogant lips like she was starving for them.
Han Si-woo: Go up to the meeting room first.
Ha Eun-seo: Yes…….
She spoke obediently, but her legs trembled as if they could not let go.
Only after I stepped aside and cracked my whip did she finally step out of the booth.
The sway of her skirt as she turned back was exactly the same lewd silhouette that had slipped out first from the 4th-floor stall yesterday.
When I returned to the meeting room, Seo Jae-won was already sprawled arrogantly in the head seat.
Seo Jae-won: Hey, Han Si-woo. You went somewhere and came crawling in now?
Han Si-woo: Just got some fresh air.
Seo Jae-won: Tsk. You don’t even smoke, yet you keep lingering at the smoking area?
Han Si-woo: I’m trying to quit today.
My lie was too short and dry, so it sounded like the most ordinary thing in the world.
Eun-seo sat back in her seat beside me. When the projector turned on, she pretended to turn her head toward the screen, but her eyes never left the projector.
While Seo Jae-won flipped numbers irritably, Eun-seo’s knee brushed my thigh under the table.
I had not whipped her away coldly. Today I decided to use this brazen touch as a trap.
Her white fingers writing in the notebook lagged a beat each time. Seo Jae-won called her like a subordinate.
Seo Jae-won: Eun-seo, check these numbers for me?
Ha Eun-seo: Ah…… yes, yes! Senior-nim.
One beat. Exactly the same empty cell I had shown her yesterday after overtime. His eyes narrowed dangerously, but he did not speak openly.
Right after the meeting, Eun-seo placed the documents on my partition and left. The pages were already perfectly reviewed from this morning.
One small sentence was scrawled in pencil in the corner of the document cover.
[I’ll wait at the smoking booth beside the building just before lunch ends.]
Exactly the same ballpoint-ink mark as the note I found under yesterday’s coffee cup.
I folded the papers and stacked them on the pile of notes in the drawer. The three sheets tangled together, and the drawer made a faint metallic click when I closed it.
Lunchtime looked completely different.
Eun-seo followed only the path to the smoking booth, eyes hungry. When Seo Jae-won waved and greeted her, she moved to their table a full beat late.
Her posture in the chair was strangely off. She faced Seo Jae-won’s face with a smile, but her eyes were fixed alone on the corridor, watching the secret place only I could enter.
I skipped the cafeteria menu and took one can of coffee, then descended to the isolated alley beside the building.
Inside the booth, a few employees from other teams had already claimed seats.
Two male managers from another team were smoking and cursing the planning team leader.
I stood in the corner, letting time pass without even smoking.
Eun-seo never appeared. She had clearly failed to slip away from Seo Jae-won’s table.
Good. That was exactly what security required.
At around four o’clock in the afternoon, Seo Jae-won left for an urgent client call.
The moment his silhouette disappeared, Eun-seo’s KakaoTalk message exploded.
[Ha Eun-seo: Assistant Manager-nim, can I come right now?]
[Ha Eun-seo: I’m already inside the smoking booth… please come…]
The thin pretense of “don’t come” had been completely withdrawn.
The question mark was still there, but her body had already chosen the place where my command would be obeyed.
I saved the message, then took the emergency stairs instead of the main elevator.
Inside the glass booth, everything was empty.
Eun-seo stood pressed against the wall, white back to me.
Her full chest rose and fell quickly through the sky-blue shirt.
When I closed and latched the booth door, the plastic frame made a short, cold sound.
It was not fully locked. Anyone pushing from outside would force it open. A dangerous thrill.
Ha Eun-seo: Assistant Manager-nim…… anyone can see from all around….
She whispered softly, ending the sentence with the same modest “yo” as always. Yet her white fingertips had already crawled to my wrist.
Han Si-woo: You begged me to come, didn’t you?
Eun-seo bit her lower lip in shame.
The same lewd fingertips that had touched the bathroom belt yesterday now grabbed my hand and pulled me into the inner space beneath her skirt.
My rough palm slid smoothly over the thick stockings.
Eun-seo pushed the edge of the stockings aside herself and pressed my finger pads directly onto her wet folds.
Inside was scalding hot. Completely different from the warmth of the bathroom yesterday.
Her eyes squeezed shut as she could not hold back the feeling. She pushed my middle finger deeper into her secret hole.
Clear fluid soaked my two fingers instantly. She finally failed to hold back a long, thin cry from deep in her throat.
Ha Eun-seo: Ah…… ah……!
Before I even penetrated her, the hypnotized Eun-seo moved her hips first and swallowed my fingers.
Even without pressing her shoulders down, her smooth thigh muscles squeezed my wrist mercilessly.
Her insides tightened like a vice, then she rose on her toes and took my fingers all the way to the mouth of her womb.
Han Si-woo: Eun-seo, I told you to look straight at only me.
The absolute command she had received before the meeting.
When her eyes opened, her empty pupils were locked only on mine like magnets.
Her red lips parted in pleasure, but she could not speak.
Instead of nodding, her inner walls squeezed my fingers again, wetter than ever.
At that exact moment, heavy footsteps passed outside the window.
A man’s leather shoe heel. Not Seo Jae-won’s.
Eun-seo startled violently and dug her nails into my shoulder.
Fortunately the footsteps passed and vanished into the distant parking lot.
Only then did she release the breath she had been holding.
Ha Eun-seo: Assistant Manager-nim…… am I really a crazy slut now……?
Han Si-woo: That’s why I told you not to make noise at work.
Ha Eun-seo: Make noise……? Huuung….
The same question from the cafeteria table. Only this time it came out while my two fingers were buried deep inside her, squeezing her.
She lifted the corner of her lips only slightly at the worst moment and thrust her hips harder against my fingers to silence the obscene sound.
I rubbed her swollen clitoris with my thumb and curled my middle finger in a rough hook.
Instantly her knees gave out. The sharp pump heels scraped the floor once.
The hem of her black skirt covered my wrist, but beneath it a long trail of clear fluid flowed down my palm and wrist.
Her inner passage opened far more easily than yesterday. She frowned, not from shame but from the terrifying truth that her body had already grown addicted to her owner too quickly.
Ha Eun-seo: Uuu…!
Eun-seo bit the front of my shirt with her teeth.
Her body instinctively understood that crying out would expose us in the glass booth.
Her inner walls tightened faster, and her smooth thighs trembled against my wrist.
Her climax jolted straight through my finger pads.
She shook her waist for a long time with eyes closed, the plastic employee badge on her neck pressing coolly between our skin.
When I tried to pull my hand out, she grabbed it with both of hers.
Still buried deep, she rested her forehead on my shoulder. Her breaths fluttered against my neck.
Ha Eun-seo: This unfinished emptiness…… it’s even crueler in the office…….
Exactly the same obsessive confession as yesterday.
Only this time it came out while my fingers remained buried inside her.
I slowly withdrew my wet fingers, then smoothed her skirt down.
She saw the glistening on my fingers, then realized she had no tissues and wiped her hand on the end of her sky-blue sleeve.
But nothing could ever remove the evidence. The liquid only smeared further across the fabric.
Han Si-woo: Cool that red face before you go back up.
Ha Eun-seo: ……Yes, Assistant Manager-nim.
She straightened her stockings and stared blankly at the booth wall.
Both cheeks and lips were smeared bright red. It was not the usual proud Eun-seo.
She adjusted her employee badge, then pulled out her phone from her pocket to check the time.
In that moment, her unlocked screen came into view at my eye level.
I had been looking at Naver Maps, then switched to the digital clock at the top.
I read the text clearly.
At the top of the search bar was the exact name of the administrative district of my studio apartment, still smudged.
A blue location pin was pinned precisely above my alley, zoomed to the corner where I bought drinks every evening.
It was not the booth’s map. It was the corner of my studio apartment.
Eun-seo noticed my sharp gaze on the screen and quickly hid the phone against her chest.
She flipped it over and tapped the lock twice in a hurry.
Ha Eun-seo: Ah…….
She let out a tiny scream. The face of a woman who could never lie well, caught red-handed stealing her owner’s private address.
I looked away from her frozen eyes and gazed coldly at the alley outside the window.
It was safer to pretend I had not noticed and act like a transparent human.
The moment I played the performance, Eun-seo would explain her hypnotic obsession in detail, and that explanation would become the company’s fatal leak.
Han Si-woo: Go up to the office first.
Ha Eun-seo: Yes, Assistant Manager-nim…….
She pushed the door open and turned back one last time with a heartbroken look before leaving.
Her eyes were already filled with the soul of the command I had given before the meeting: look straight at only me.
I kept my palm open until her heels disappeared down the corridor. Even after wiping the spot with my sleeve, the scent of her deep folds remained like a tattoo.
When I returned to my seat, Seo Jae-won sat slanted in his chair with a fresh cigarette still in his mouth.
Seo Jae-won: Hey, Han Si-woo. You went to smoke again?
Han Si-woo: Yeah, just got some air in the alley.
Seo Jae-won: Then where’s Eun-seo? Why does she keep disappearing every time you leave?
Han Si-woo: How should I know? She has work somewhere else.
He pointed at the empty partition across from me. Eun-seo’s seat remained cold.
Thirty seconds later, her silhouette appeared cautiously at the end of the corridor.
She sat with a tense, lips-pressed face, glanced once at my corner, then quickly turned to her monitor. Her acting was a little looser than yesterday, but her mouse still circled the same Excel cell.
Just before the quitting bell, another white message appeared in the group chat.
[Seo Jae-won: Hey, who’s staying late because of the team leader’s report file today?]
[Park Min-soo: I’m staying, boss]
[Ha Eun-seo: I’m staying because of the remaining planning numbers]
[Seo Jae-won: Huh? Eun-seo again? Why are you so obsessed with overtime lately?]
[Ha Eun-seo: ……I just happen to be the only one left]
I just happen to be the only one left.
In the group chat she appeared as a quiet female employee who always stayed alone. In the booth corner on the fourth floor, she was the female who had swallowed my fingers.
I added no reaction to their messages. Instead, Eun-seo’s private messenger window flashed in the corner of my monitor.
[Ha Eun-seo: Assistant Manager-nim…… since the planning meeting today]
[Ha Eun-seo: I really only looked straight at you, Assistant Manager-nim]
[Ha Eun-seo: And searching the address on my phone was……]
[Ha Eun-seo: I was just curious about where you live, sorry]
I raised my fingers to type a reply, then deleted everything. I left the preview window and never marked the message as read.
The address.
I had pretended I had not noticed and acted transparent. But the brainwashed Eun-seo, like a desperate thief, had confessed the terrifying word first in the messenger window. Not a flimsy excuse, but the sentence structure of a hunting dog that had already peeked at its owner’s private life and was crawling in.
I flipped my phone onto the bed.
Only after arriving late at night in the dark studio apartment did I loosen my belt again.
On the back of my hand, the memory of Eun-seo’s sleeve scent from the booth lingered like a strange illusion. Whether illusion or not, it did not matter.
At that moment, the phone vibrated again in the early morning silence.
[Ha Eun-seo: Assistant Manager-nim…… can I go to the smoking booth tomorrow too]
[Ha Eun-seo: I can go first and wait……?]
Can I go?
The booth beside the company was already obvious to her. This was not a question. It was the painful begging of a female that was allowed to crawl into the web of my command and spread her legs only with her owner’s absolute permission.
The line below no longer appeared. But the destructive word “address” had already left a thick mark on the top of my messenger window once.
The place she had targeted was no longer the company smoking booth. It was the cool blue pin on the map of my studio alley, the corner where I bought drinks every evening and returned home to turn off the lights.
In the darkness where only the ceiling was visible, the sequence of today’s submission replayed in reverse.
The arrogant command to look at only me. The side view of her stealing glances during the meeting. The hot temperature of the folds I had pulled into my black skirt with my own hand.
The closed space of the smoking booth had become our private absolute rule.
And the address of my studio apartment was already a dangerously breached search record she had not yet stepped out of.
The bathroom was closing.
The smoking booth was becoming immovable submission rules.
I slowly closed my eyes. The wet heat left by her fingers brushed my brain first.
Then the three Hangul characters of the administrative district of my studio apartment appeared clearly in the phone screen.
And the last place in my company harem narrative, still tattooed like a brand, was not the old booth sign.
It was the fantasy phone screen of a lewd Eun-seo pressing her fingers against the intercom on the wall of the building I lived in, still unable to press it while holding her breath.
