Dormitory Move-In
A KakaoTalk from Shim Uran popped up.
Shim Uran was genuinely thrilled. Back when she first heard my blueprint, she'd jumped into partnering with me without a second thought, excited about starting her own personal shop without splitting profits. But as the full opening preparations kicked off, she'd started showing signs of being overwhelmed by her own limits. Then Youngae joined, taking over the management side she knew nothing about, and it eased her mind completely.
After wrapping up the chat with Shim Uran, I finished packing my stuff. Today was move-in day at the dorm.
Seoral University had a rule that all freshmen had to live in the dorms. At a normal school, there'd be backlash about the academics turning into landlords, but Seoral was generous—dorm fees were waived for all first-years. So for the next year, I'd be dorm-bound, which meant I'd already given up my jeonse room and prepped for the move.
Lucky there's not much stuff.
Since I'd only moved in recently, there was no furniture—just clothes and odds and ends.
I arrived at Seoral University and handled check-in. My room was 1207. From what I'd heard, floors below the 7th were for girls, above for guys. That's why the elevators ran separately for lower and upper floors.
Stepping into the room, a familiar face greeted me.
"Whoa? Hyung!"
Park Gwanghyeok grinned brightly.
"Oh. Looks like we're roommates."
"Yeah. Fate, right? I was hoping for a new friend, but hyung showed up instead."
"Disappointed?"
"Nah, not at all. Heh heh heh."
Once we'd unpacked, Park Gwanghyeok spoke up.
"All done? The others are waiting for course registration. Wanna head over?"
"Sure. Hang on."
I shot a text to Eunseo.
"Alright, let's go."
Course registration was usually done on personal computers, but for clueless freshmen, there was a guidance session.
We headed to the Program Lab where it was held. Despite the flashy name, it was just a computer room. The moment I opened the door, I spotted Eunseo. Weirdly, our eyes met right away.
"U-uh...", oppa.... he's here...
I smirked at Lee Eunseo's status message, showing her agonizing over whether to bolt.
She's been eyeing the door in case she needs to escape—that's why our eyes met.
Ever since orientation, she'd been avoiding me with status messages like "U-uh....... so embarrassing!" every time she saw me. But today, no dodging.
I slipped in beside her and whispered.
"Even after moving into the dorm? You gonna keep avoiding me?"
""Ugh... It's not like that, but..."
Her shy cuteness was adorable, but her extreme embarrassment over sexual stuff wasn't healthy.
Time to shift Eunseo's mindset.
With her "self-rationalization" talent, a decent excuse would flip her thinking fast.
Need to mull it over more.
"By the way, seeing you check in—talked it over with your family okay?"
Her family was overprotective, imposing an 8 PM curfew on a 20-year-old. They'd opposed dorm life hard; she'd vented via KakaoTalk.
"Dad grumbled, but since it's school rules, he seems resigned."
"Cool. Now we're in the same building?"
It was the dorm building, technically one structure.
"U-uh..., ha, same building.... Yeah... hehe."
The guidance started, and Park Gwanghyeok whispered.
"Hyung, check the KakaoTalk I just sent?"
I pulled out my phone.
"What's this?"
"List of easy profs for freshmen must-takes."
"Nice. Source?"
"Student council president sunbae."
I recalled Son Ji-hyun, my age but posing as a freshman undercover at orientation.
"Solid."
I punched in the prof codes from Gwanghyeok's list into my wishlist. Perks of council buddies.
"Got all the explanations? Fill your wishlist and wait. Registration starts in 5 minutes!"
The server opened, and everyone rushed in.
"Whoa! All clears! Got everything I wanted!"
"Ugh..... Half my wishlist bombed."
Cheers and groans echoed. Luckily, I nailed all my major reqs.
Leftovers are electives.
"Eunseo-ya, what electives you taking?"
"Hmm... still deciding."
Seoral required electives for freshmen and sophomores—Renaissance Fusion Education. Pick 3-4 from ~20 set courses.
Course names like Principles of Love? Big Bang to Industrial Revolution? All vibes like that.
Meant to boost human skills amid AI rise, but I wasn't sold. School forums memed it as "Renaissance Fusion Human" mockery.
Hmm. Nothing appeals. Wait, no.
Remembered the Desire Fulfillment App reacting to "love" with Youngae.
"I'm doing Principles of Love. Wanna join?"
"Sure, oppa."
Electives done, registration wrapped. As freshmen finished, Son Ji-hyun took the podium again.
"Those done, search Student Eol in the app store and download."
"What's that?"
"Seoral's LMS—Learning Management System app."
Son Ji-hyun explained Student Eol: Online hub for profs and students to handle academics, assignments, attendance, etc.
"Assignments and check-ins via Student Eol—mandatory."
Wondered what superpower it'd unlock on update.
What desire triggers Student Eol in the update list?
Guidance ended with usage demo. Clock showed evening nearing.
"Hyung, too lame to just head back. Chimaek with the crew for dinner?"
"Chimaek?"
Eunseo perked up.
Right—first no-curfew night ever, minus orientation.
Can't waste a milestone.
"Skip chimaek. Round up real drinkers for a proper bar. Sound good?"
Opening Monday, today Friday—first college Friday night. Peers rallied.
Wow, that girl's gorgeous.
Jackpot! That guy's a total hottie!
With me and Eunseo drawing stares, we hit over ten mesmerized classmates quick.
"More drinkers than expected. Reservations might be tough."
Luckily, snagged tables at a nearby bar—six tables with partitions, like a big room.
Vibes were lively. All freshmen, same class—bonded fast. Eunseo and I fielded tons of chats, barely keeping up.
After smoking with Gwanghyeok (fell for his nudge), I returned to Eunseo laughing happily. Seats shuffled, we'd split briefly. Her radiant glow pulled a crowd.
Not all guys, so no trouble likely.
Half girls, guys mostly innocent 20-year-olds aware we're classmates—no line-crossers.
Party ended at midnight. Eunseo buzzed just right. Split at dorm elevators—same building, but post-8 PM, no cross-gender floors. Handed her to Kim Jinju.
Back in room, showered, prepped for bed—suddenly 1 AM.
Monday starts classes.
Real college life is dawning—I’m filled with deep emotion. The dream university days. What awaited me?"
Excitement sparked quests.
The flames of desire burn fiercely.

The quest window ballooned instantly.
Quests popped before too, huh?
Meant my long-nurtured desire for college life was massive.
Calming my buzz, I hit the sack. Sleep came quick.
That night, I dreamed of an orgy in a lecture hall with girls from various majors.
