Delivery to the Dorm Front
Buuung— Kim Ho-jun, a delivery guy from an ordinary restaurant. He was heading out for a lunch delivery as usual.
"Hmm... Delivery to the dorm, one serving... Guess someone's eating alone."
The food he was delivering was a single serving of udon. Most university dorms separated living spaces from dining areas, so it wasn't uncommon for students to order food like this.
'Well, dorms aren't really cracking down on deliveries these days anyway.'
Listening to music as he rode his scooter, he soon arrived at the dorm. Looking around, Ho-jun spotted a girl standing near the entrance, staring at her phone.
'Is that her?'
But she looked too small to be a college student. Standing in front of the dorm, she seemed like a middle schooler who had gotten lost. Still, her outfit—a T-shirt and jeans—made her look plausible as a student.
'Maybe not...?'
Not quite sure, Ho-jun parked his scooter nearby. He was about to call the customer when...
"Excuse me... Is that the udon delivery?"
"Uh, yeah. Did you order it?"
Seeing her approach him right away and mention the udon confirmed it was this girl.
"..."
Ho-jun couldn't take his eyes off her.
'Whoa, she's adorably cute...'
Her soft black hair cascading to her waist, a petite face, and a height that only reached his chest—it all combined into peak cuteness.
"...Um, hello?"
"Ah, uh, yes! Here's your food."
She raised one eyebrow like he was weird and called him again, snapping him out of it. He handed over the food.
"Whoa, looks delicious."
"Thank you~"
Muttering a soft exclamation while eyeing the bagged udon, she gave a small bow and tottered into the dorm.
"..."
Ho-jun stood there for a long while, unable to leave. The payment was prepaid anyway, so that wasn't an issue, but her bright smile as she thanked him was burned into his mind.
'...Should've asked for her KakaoTalk ID.'
Regretting it a little, he got back on his scooter, looking somehow forlorn.

"Mmm~ This warm feeling..."
I brought the delivered udon home and unpacked it, and the savory udon broth scent and cozy heat instantly filled the room.
I hadn't gone to bed that late yesterday, but my body must've been more exhausted than I thought—I slept like a rock. Waking up at 11 a.m. meant nearly 12 hours straight.
After a quick face wash in the bathroom, I sat blankly in the living room, still groggy, when...
Grrrowl—
A little rumble from my stomach.
'...Come to think of it, I haven't eaten anything since coming down to Earth.'
Realizing that, a tidal wave of hunger hit me. I opened my phone and launched the delivery app.
I searched for nearby stores to order my favorite—udon—but...
Unable to detect location.
"Huh."
Oh right—this place is like a pocket dimension. I'd totally forgotten I couldn't get deliveries here.
"What now?"
Grrrowl—
My stomach was still complaining loudly.
To at least tide over the hunger, I figured I'd grab an energy bar from a convenience store. I stepped outside.
Shaaa...
As I thought about leaving and closed my eyes naturally, a warm light enveloped me.
About 10 seconds later, a convenience store stood before me.
'Whoa, awesome.'
Getting home from anywhere worked anytime, and apparently leaving worked the same way. It even dropped me near wherever I wanted to go.
'This is straight-up teleportation.'
Getting excited, I boldly entered the store and grabbed energy bars, snacks, drinks—stuffing them into a bag.
Beep—beep—beep—
"..."
"..."
The blank-faced clerk scanned the prices. The awkward silence made me hold my tongue too.
"25,700 won."
"Here."
"Have a good one~"
Paid with my phone, popped an energy bar in my mouth, and stepped out, looking around.
'But where am I?'
I'd just thought "convenience store" and ended up at some random one. I plopped on the bench out front, set the snacks on the table, and crunched the bar.
Checked the buildings, pulled up a map app—turns out it was near the university from my past life.
...Not a place with great memories.
Then, a good idea hit.
I couldn't get delivery to home. I didn't even know the exact location; I could only teleport.
Deliver to my house!
Where's your house?
I don't know!
That wouldn't fly. Receiving on the street? Weird looks. Apartment or residential area? Questions about why not at home.
People mind their own business, but I'd wonder. Didn't want attention.
A place where no one knows me, no one cares: the university dorm.
Back in my college days, the dorm lounge was full of people ordering deliveries anytime. Who cares what department? It was perfect camouflage—tons of students and outsiders.
No idea if it's still like that, but probably similar. My guess was spot-on: order near the dorm, and it'd be seamless.
Lunchtime rush, so I ordered udon. The delivery guy handed it over without a second glance at me.
...He looked a bit spaced out, but whatever.
Mission accomplished at the dorm front. Time to head home. Feeling refreshed, bag in hand, I teleported back and enjoyed it with the drink I'd bought earlier.

After polishing off the udon, I rolled around on the bed scrolling Mityube when I glanced at the clock—4 p.m. already.
"Oh right, downloaded that game."
Intended to play, hadn't touched it. Tottered to the computer, fired up the game site, and launched MapleStory.
While it loaded, I browsed news and communities—and an unexpected article popped up.
—
'...Who's Zhang Wei?'
First thought reading the article: Who the hell is this guy? Even comments were split on him. Intrigued, I minimized the running game and dug online—tons of info.
'...So much stuff.'
Time to burn, so I read through. Learned a bit about Zhang Wei: China's 6th registered S-rank spearman. Image as anger-issue troll picking fights, typical Chinese villain type.
But paparazzi shots showed a different guy: smiling like a dad petting strays, carrying grannies' bags, mediating street fights. Total opposite.
'What gives?'
Which was real? Communities were warzones—opinions dead even.
'...But whatever, does it matter to me?'
If he pulls aggro from the Arnot incident, great. I'm just a quiet citizen (God's proxy with powers).
"Heh heh..."
Shaking off idle thoughts, I filled the screen with Dark Mushmom and started the game.
"Ah, been ages... This game's changed a ton."
36th anniversary event page brought back memories.
"Hmm, light character training today?"
.
.
Started casual, but by late evening, I realized I'd been glued to it.
"...Dinner now feels off."
Grrrowl—
Stomach screaming for food. Once I hyperfocus, I ignore hunger or bathroom till the last second—so I treated it as late-night snacks, cracking open the convenience store ramen.
Steam rising...
"..."
Just staring at the ramen after pouring water and closing the lid, a lonely pang hit.
'Wonder how God's doing.'
Slurp—
The tiny kitchen echoed only with noodle slurps.
