The Power of the Eighth Circle Black Mage
In the past, when Ron had chosen a female from the Thousand Race according to Baros' recommendation and gained the right to have her, Kim Jae-hyun had been alone with Irene. It was a historic moment unfolding between the two of them right then.
"Hngh... ah..."
After a mere moment, Irene's body twisted with a groan, and the cry of a newborn baby soon followed.
"Waah~ waah~"
The baby, energetic and wailing, could hardly be called beautiful by any normal standards. Yet it bore a faint golden tint to its hair—thanks to its mother's influence—and was a girl.
Thus, Irene had given birth to a daughter who resembled her.
Jae-hyun had wanted a beautiful daughter who looked just like Irene when he impregnated her, so the Demon King's craving had seeped into reality and produced this exact result.
"...Not even remotely pretty."
Still, to Jae-hyun, the newborn looked nothing like she was supposed to. Yet Irene, holding the child in her arms, gave a soft glance and said to him.
"Jae-hyun oppa, don't say that. Our baby is so pretty, you know?"
From the human perspective still lingering in Irene, the baby she had birthed felt incredibly precious. Especially since she had been conceived in pure love between her and Jae-hyun. It was simply too beloved and dear.
"Hmm..."
At those words, Jae-hyun lowered his head in silence. The sensation of not knowing what to say was new even to him after becoming the Demon King.
"Aww~ look at you, little one. Mama~ will Mama recognize you?"
Despite having given birth, Irene's energy was overflowing. To a Great Archdemon like her, childbirth had caused almost no pain. She had fast-tracked the nine-month pregnancy into just ten days, and the labor itself had been surprisingly mild. The baby had come out quickly.
A human woman would have been stunned by such an impossible pregnancy, delivery speed, and minimal suffering, but she was no longer human. She was a demon. And even if she had remained human, the Demon King's influence would have made little difference. The pregnancy period and its pain would have been unchanged, and the child would have been mixed human-demon blood.
Yet the baby now born was a pure demon. And the proof was that she had already opened her eyes slightly—unlike a typical human infant.
Understanding her mother's words, the baby gazed at Irene's face and broke into a happy, dimpled smile. The sight made Jae-hyun unconsciously press a hand to his chest.
It was calm. Too calm.
Normally he wouldn't have given it a second thought, but seeing the child Irene had carried for him stirred something unexpected. It was his old dream from the human era.
To marry Irene, father the child they had made together, raise her with love, and live as a family where everyone cherished one another.
Only that, and returning to the loved ones still on Earth.
That dream had been shattered and trampled by Ferdinand and the betrayers. The hatred and rage boiling inside him again made him realize the true meaning of his existence as the Demon King: revenge.
Though she shared his vengeful heart, Irene still carried many human emotions. She looked at the baby she had birthed with love. Jae-hyun, however, had not yet felt the same emotional shift. He remained as calm as ever.
No bitter smile formed. The calm continued. So he set aside his thoughts, gazed at the baby, and asked Irene.
"Irene, have you thought of a name for the child?"
"Hmm, Jae-hyun oppa's surname is Kim. Should we attach Kim?"
"That's not bad at all."
"Then how about Aleyna Kim? Or Kim Aleyna?"
Irene suggested the name she had already decided on. Jae-hyun considered it for a moment, then nodded.
"Fine."
After speaking, he stroked Irene's hair. As the Demon King, he had commanded no one else enter the room. He spent the time alone with Irene and the baby in her arms.
* * *
The fifty thousand Thousand Race females captured by the Dark Elves had been distributed among his subordinates. With Baros' help, Ron had secured the single strongest female swordmaster from the Thousand Race.
After obtaining her, Ron had gone to Jae-hyun wanting even one dragon corpse. But Jae-hyun was occupied with Irene, so he had no choice but to wait for another opportunity.
Moreover, tomorrow was his younger sister Rin's birth day. Selina, Lucien, Serphius, and Lillian were also due to give birth that day, but Ron worried only about Rin.
The other four were demons. Among them, the most powerful existed, yet even if Rin had become a 9th-circle Dark Mage thanks to Jae-hyun's favor, she was still human. Ron could not help but worry.
When the next day arrived, Ron received Jae-hyun's summons and entered the Demon King's Castle, heading straight for his room.
"Demon King. This is Ron. I have come at your summons."
Standing at the door, Ron asked permission to enter and announce himself.
"Come in."
The moment permission came from inside, Ron opened the door and stepped into Jae-hyun's room. He walked a few steps forward and turned right.
There sat Jae-hyun on a long, luxurious wooden chair—not a throne, not even the Demon King's seat, but elegant and simple. Beside him, Irene held a baby in her arms.
Irene wore a black t-shirt and a simple red-checkered short skirt. Despite giving birth, her beauty remained untouched. She still radiated an otherworldly allure, and her happy smile as she looked at the baby in her arms made her even more breathtaking.
Yet the scene that truly captivated Ron's eyes was his naked younger sister Rin, sitting on Jae-hyun's lap.
"Haa... haa..."
Her long golden hair and entire body glistened with sweat as she breathed heavily. Her belly had swollen greatly in late pregnancy. Remembering Rin as the slender beauty she always was, Ron thought as an older brother.
"It would be better to just pretend I didn't see."
Anything else would only complicate Rin's position. Besides, they were beings who could not defy the Demon King. And Ron and Rin were black mages who had already signed a contract with him.
If Jae-hyun killed Ron right there, he could offer no resistance.
Jae-hyun, meanwhile, stroked Rin's protruding belly while looking at Ron and said, "I know you have something you want to say to me. What you desire is undoubtedly a powerful undead army? Especially since you need undead made from dragon corpses."
"...Yes. I must bring down Count Gray and his son Andrew, who is the count's second son. I need strength. Please help me."
Ron lowered his head and begged. Jae-hyun stared at him with cold eyes that seemed to read his thoughts, then suddenly pulled out his penis and thrust it into Rin's anus—the place he could not enter while she was pregnant.
"Ugh! Aaaah!"
Rin's mind went hazy with pleasure. She moaned loudly and moved her head side to side, but her body was too heavy, so she could not twist much.
"Hngh... Demon King... please grant my brother Ron's wish."
After a few seconds, Rin's mind cleared. She immediately begged Jae-hyun to help Ron.
Since she was his concubine, she had every right to make such a request. Irene beside them also chimed in.
"Jae-hyun oppa, just help him. Or as the Empress, shall I say, 'Your Majesty, please grant Lord Ron's request'?"
Jae-hyun glanced at Irene with a playful glint before turning back to Ron and spoke seriously.
"By gaining these twenty fortresses, part of the former Frankish Kingdom's territory has been newly incorporated into the Dark Empire."
As Jae-hyun began, everyone present listened intently. Especially Rin. Once she gave birth, she wanted to fight alongside her brother Ron and avenge their parents. Her brother's strength mattered to her.
Of course, Ron had no intention of letting Rin fight; he alone would resolve it. But Rin did not yet know that. Jae-hyun had already decided she need not fight herself.
He would use this opportunity to officially prove Ron's abilities and observe how much of them he had.
To avenge Andrew, they would simply capture him alive, then let Ron and Rin fight together.
And in a twisted sense, there was also the ace card—the leader of the Fallen Angels, Mastema, who possessed perverted tastes far beyond even the Incubus King Baros.
"I will hand over all authority over the lifeforms within Count Gray to you. However, every single member of Count Gray's family must be brought back alive. Do you really think revenge ends with mere death?"
Jae-hyun asked with a cruel smile. Ron answered with an equally ruthless smile burning with vengeance, and nodded.
"Of course, Demon King."
"Among the legions, the 501st Legion of black mages is the most relaxed. I will grant you command of the 501st Legion. And these as well."
Jae-hyun did not specify what he was giving, but Ron knew exactly what he had received. As a black mage contracted to the Demon King, he could command countless undead through their connection.
Those undead had been stored in his spatial storage and become his summons.
A staggering fifty Death Knights and fifty Death Mages.
The Death Knights were all minimum high-grade Sword Experts, with twenty-two of them already at Sword Master level.
The Death Mages consisted of twenty-eight 5th-circle mages and twenty-two 6th- and 7th-circle high mages.
Among the undead Jae-hyun had given him, there was one Ultimate Undead—Boss Dragon—and one Ghost Dragon.
"Thank you! Thank you!"
After confirming the undead, Ron knelt before Jae-hyun, bowed his head, and repeated his thanks. The excitement of finally being able to carry out his revenge refused to fade.
Only sixteen days ago, he had thought revenge impossible. Now he felt overwhelming gratitude toward the Demon King who had granted him this blessing.
