The Vengeance Promised
The words of Kim Jae-hyun, already aware that the ancient hero summoned from the ancient era would be called forth from the records on the ancient stela, left William bewildered.
"How... this..."
Everything was now in the palm of the Demon King Kim Jae-hyun's hand. The despair hit William like a wave.
He had known that twelve years earlier the dimensional gate had opened, yet normally it would be another thirty-eight years before another could be opened.
The Demon King Jae-hyun had inherited the knowledge of all the previous Demon Kings, and thus possessed the ability to forcibly open the gate at will by sacrificing one hundred million souls—far more often than once every fifty years. William knew this, but the mere possibility that anyone in the Intermediate World would learn of it was vanishingly small.
During his time studying black magic, William had researched dimensional travel extensively, yet he had uncovered no special information on the subject.
Just because he could not discover it did not mean such a theory did not exist, but acquiring that knowledge was no easy matter. Moreover, it belonged to the black magic system. Only someone with more than ten circles of expertise in black magic could even begin to unravel it. If the method had been known, even if it existed in the Intermediate World, the user would have been unable to spread it casually. They would have hidden the knowledge in some book or scroll.
The known method of opening the gate involved sacrificing one hundred million souls, but there was another approach using powerful energy. That one had never been classified as black magic and was therefore widely known.
The energy required, however, was on the level of a thousand Ancient Dragon Hearts. It was considered impossible to obtain, so its very existence was dismissed as a myth. Yet both William and Jae-hyun knew that a powerful energy source already existed in the Intermediate World right now. Jae-hyun also knew its greatest limitation: it could only be used for summoning. That knowledge had been available since the time William had been a hero, but he had never paid it any heed.
If the hero was summoned, the plan of Ferdinand and Griffith would at least have a chance of succeeding, however slim. That was all.
If Jae-hyun had wanted to disrupt the summoning, he could have done so in an instant. The cooperation of the dragons, who had lived for ages, would be required to perform the ancient ritual.
The hero described in the records was an Ancient Hero who had appeared when dragons were still young and had only recently become True Dragons. He had defeated the Demon King of the Intermediate World one year after his arrival. The record stated that the Demon King had been Korean like Jae-hyun, though the hero himself had been a black-haired, black-eyed youth.
The records also claimed he had possessed a noble character, though no one could confirm whether that was true. Ferdinand and Griffith had contacted the Dragon Lord, gathered information on the hero through his assistance, and even obtained the support needed to summon the Ancient Hero. Yet the Dragon Lord himself knew almost nothing about the hero.
In the present era, humans had grown so overwhelmingly powerful that they could speak freely with dragons without fear. The dragons had shed their arrogance and accepted this species. But eight thousand years earlier, when the Dragon Lord had only just become a True Dragon, the dragons were still deep in their arrogant phase. They looked down upon all other races, including humans, yet they had shown mild interest in the Hero from another world. They had acknowledged his greatness to some degree but had never truly wanted to respect him.
Even the Dragon Lord of that time had been no different. Now, having lived long and witnessed the world's changes, he was humble and wise. In his youth he had been as childish as any child. As a result, he had never properly conversed with the hero, and the dragons who had contacted him out of curiosity were already long dead. The information the Dragon Lord possessed was therefore limited.
Nevertheless, the Dragon Lord had recognized the necessity of the hero in defeating the Demon King, and through their cooperation the summoning of the Ancient Hero was now possible.
Thanks to the Dragon Lord's cooperation, the plan had a real chance of succeeding. One finger from Jae-hyun could have shattered it in an instant. Yet he had chosen not to interfere.
On the contrary, Jae-hyun had actually hoped the ancient hero would be summoned.
Though the Demon King who had fallen back then seemed terribly weak in his current eyes, he had been a true disaster in his time.
William had always longed to meet the hero, to fight him, and to kill him. It had nothing to do with avenging his former Demon King.
"Damn it... there truly is no hope left!"
William's despair deepened with every realization that Jae-hyun knew everything, yet his hips continued to thrust forcefully. His great-granddaughter Sophia, too, had long since passed the point of merely enduring pain. As a woman she now let out lewd, wanton moans with every movement.
"Haa... haak!"
The knowledge that he had taken his great-granddaughter's virginity and that he was her first man filled him with even greater torment. But that was only the beginning. Using the telekinesis power wielded only by elite martial artists, he forced his own son, Count Roderick, to float before him.
"Uwaaaak! Father! No! Please save me!"
Roderick had heard every order Jae-hyun had given William. Seeing his father obey one of them so perfectly, Roderick no longer even suspected what was coming. He screamed in raw agony.
Telekinesis was something any Sword Master could perform, but the limit was simple: they could only draw a sword from afar and make it fly into their hands. William, the Gale Sword Emperor and a Grand Sword Master who had transcended even the Sword Masters, could stop collapsing mountains with a thought, making boulders hover in mid-air.
No Sword Master, not even Roderick, could resist William's telekinesis. The young man floated helplessly before his father.
"Uwaaaak! No! This isn't right! I have to get out of here! I have to escape!"
Roderick's screams only grew louder, yet William had no intention of letting him go. He reached out with telekinesis, gripped his son's sleeve, and sliced it away with a finger. The sight of his son's bare arm caused William's resolve to harden further.
"Haaaaak!!!"
At that moment Sophia reached her climax and passed out. The knowledge that her own great-grandfather had caused her to lose her virginity struck William like a thunderbolt. Tears of blood nearly fell as Jae-hyun's voice rang out coldly.
"Eat your own flesh raw."
"Kyuuuk! Demon King! You evil bastard! I curse you! You will die in some way or another!"
Even though the plan to summon the ancient hero had been exposed, Jae-hyun showed no intention of stopping it. His curse was simple: no matter what, he would still die.
William's curse only made Jae-hyun laugh mockingly.
"Very well. Go ahead and eat. Your son's limbs."
"Uwaaaaa!!!"
William howled and thrashed wildly, but he was trapped by the contract he himself had proposed. He could not escape.
He raised the dagger and drove it into his son's arm.
"Uwaaaak!!!"
Roderick screamed in pain. Although he was a Sword Master, he had never once faced a war. His greatest battles had been against bandits or weak monsters. He had never known the agony of a blade piercing flesh.
Yet the moment the dagger entered his flesh, Roderick tried to pull away. William's telekinesis held him fast. He could not move. The flesh was torn raw in seconds, and foam bubbled from his mouth as he fought to stay conscious.
While he remained awake, tears of agony poured from his eyes as he stared at his own father peeling his flesh away alive.
*It's all your fault!*
Roderick's eyes screamed the accusation even as his body shook.
William could say nothing. The flesh he was tearing from his son's arm was being eaten right now, right now, between his own teeth.
*Slurp—slurp—*
His sharpened canines tore off chunks of his son's raw meat. What words could he speak while chewing? All he could do was bite down, tears of hatred and fury streaming down his face, as Roderick screamed in pain.
His penis, too, reached its limit. Thick ropes of semen erupted from him and filled Sophia's womb.
"Huaaah!!!"
Sophia, still a virgin in body, trembled violently from the first-ever creampie. Even as tears rolled down her cheeks, her body arched and she let out hot, needy breaths. She had felt it all—the warmth of her great-grandfather's seed filling her womb—until she finally lost consciousness.
"Hoo hoo. How touching. Who would have thought that young girl would grow up to become pregnant with her great-grandfather's seed?"
Pregnancy.
The word hung in the air. Everyone—Sophia, her parents, and William himself—turned to stare at Jae-hyun.
*Crack.*
"Kyaaaaak!"
At that exact moment Roderick's scream became a desperate howl.
By now William had already nearly eaten an entire arm. His fangs were shattering bone as he chewed. His jaw, which had always been superhuman, now surpassed even that. His teeth had become weapons capable of snapping steel.
"Uwaaaak!"
Roderick was losing massive amounts of blood yet refused to die. Jae-hyun's ability, identical to the one he had placed on William and Lucretia, prevented death from excessive bleeding. No matter how painful, his son could not perish.
William had no idea how it felt to eat his own child's limbs raw, but he knew he was suffering.
And Sophia was pregnant because of the semen William had just ejaculated inside her.
"Pre... pregnancy?"
Sophia, dazed, had finally processed the horror of being defiled by her great-grandfather and was crying when Jae-hyun's words landed. She whispered the word "pregnancy" in a fog of confusion.
"Hoo hoo. Yes, it is pregnancy. You are carrying your great-grandfather's child. Congratulations. Normally you would have ten months to carry the child, but I am being kind. You will give birth immediately, without prolonged suffering."
"N-No!!!"
"Nooooo!"
"Sophiaaaaa!!!"
Sophia and her parents screamed in unison, the cry raw and broken. Sophia's belly began to swell rapidly. The sight of it growing at an unnatural pace made her entire body break out in goosebumps. She thrashed in terror.
"No! Save me! Anyone help! Mother! Father! Please save me! Great-grandfather!"
She called for her parents and William, begging for rescue. They could only scream her name. They could not save her.
"Aaaaaak!"
The pain of childbirth hit her like a storm. She convulsed wildly, screaming in agony. William stared at the nightmare unfolding before him—his great-granddaughter giving birth to her own great-grandfather's child—and wished he could simply vanish.
*Shlorp—*
Then, from her womb, a baby emerged in an instant. The birth was complete. It was not the natural speed of childbirth. Jae-hyun had simply willed it.
"Stop wasting time. Leave quickly."
Irene, the one who had forced Sophia's rapid delivery, smiled sweetly. But before the smile could fade, Jae-hyun reached over and lightly tapped her forehead with a playful smack.
