The Perverted Dragoness Reina Accepts a Bandit-Hunting Quest
The Perverted Dragoness Reina Accepts a Bandit-Hunting Quest
"New recruit coming throuuugh~!"
Thud!
With a boot to the western-style swinging doors, the idiot dragoness Reina made her entrance.
Perfect~! If I burst in this energetically, they'll have no choice but to notice me!
Convinced that such a racket would draw every adventurer's eyes inside, she hiked the corners of her mouth high and let her eyes sparkle. A red-haired, enormous-breasted beauty of a new recruit, swaggering in with a perverted outfit that left the undersides of her breasts half-exposed — any number of degenerates itching to "educate" a newcomer like that ought to come swarming. After all, both the gatekeeper and even the Black Witch had nothing good to say about this guild; it was only natural to assume the place would be crawling with that sort of human. But—
Reina's wish went unfulfilled.
A gust of wind whistled through, then silence. Her golden eyes went round.
"Huh?"
"Welcoome…"
"…Huhhh?"
Looking around, she found only a single guild receptionist seated at the counter. Every table was empty. Even after Reina had kicked the door open like a maniac, the receptionist watched her with an expression that said, this level of chaos is just a normal day around here.
What is with that exhausted face…
It was a face even more thoroughly worn-down than the Black Witch's from moments ago. The guild-issued uniform hung in disarray; bottles of liquor and cigarettes littered the counter; freckles covered a face stamped over and over with the word irritation. Her brown bob, tucked behind one ear, was greasy, and her brown eyes slanted sharply upward at the outer corners. The witch's attitude could be written off as character, but this woman looked like the type whose personality itself was pure spite — even in a customer-facing job.
"Uh, um, so, hello…?"
"Yeah, yeah… hi…"
"Sooo… this is the adventurer's guild, right?"
"Obviously… just look at it. It's a guild."
"Then where is everybody else?"
"How should I know? I don't know that crap~!"
"U-uum…"
This was, without question, not normal customer service.
Meeting the Black Witch first had been a blessing; if Reina had walked straight into the guild and run into this receptionist instead, her mood would have hit rock bottom on the spot.
When I came here before, it seemed a little more put-together… was that just my imagination? No. I think the woman back then was prettier, too…
She decided to probe a little.
"What happened to the other receptionist who used to work here?"
"What… so you were friends with that slut of a senior? She quit, so looking for her here is a waste of your damn time."
"I don't actually know her…"
"Then why the hell are you asking? God, this is so annoying… as if getting demoted to this shithole wasn't already bad enough without having to look at crap like this~?"
How the hell would I know about any of that~!
A flicker of anger rose, but she crushed it just as quickly. The old her would already have exploded — but fortunately, the current Reina was a patient dragon. The problem was that she also got a thrill out of being abused by another woman. From the flow of this conversation alone, she could tell expecting any kindness from this receptionist was hopeless. She scratched absently at her prized horns and glanced awkwardly around the room.
At this hour, shouldn't the place be packed? Or did I just show up way too early?
Scratch, scratch.
"I don't know who you're looking for, but those pieces of trash are probably all at the mine."
"The mine?"
She'd been acting like she wanted nothing to do with conversation, but the sight of Reina standing awkwardly in the middle of the guild floor must have gotten under her skin, because she tossed the remark out. Legs crossed in her chair, she appraised Reina's body with spiteful eyes.
"This is an adventurer's guild. Why a mine?"
"What, you don't even know that? Even I couldn't have missed a big girl like you until now… ah, you just got to this city, didn't you? ID?"
"Ah, uh, here's my plate…"
"What… iron ore? Trash. And the timing's terrible, too. Were you born under some unlucky star? Iron ore at your age — I've never seen that before."
"Kh! Nngh, yeah… so what's going on?"
The receptionist lit her cigarette and jabbed a finger toward the outside of the guild.
"There was a huge accident at the mine over that way, and most of the mine slaves got killed. The regular workers kept things running for a bit, but they still needed to fill the empty spots, so until new laborers arrive from other cities, they dumped a commission on the guild and swept up every idle adventurer as temporary labor."
"So there's nobody left?!"
"Of course not. They were recruiting in a hurry, so the pay was fat. Fat enough that the trash hanging around here could eat and loaf for a good long while — so they all scrambled over to grab a spot. Everyone who signed up for mine work is staying in the lodgings over there, so there shouldn't be a single one left at the guild. Look at that as proof."
"…Ughk!"
Where both their gazes landed, a quest board stood installed — and it was such a disaster that Reina let out an involuntary cry of shock.
"Normally those simple gathering requests, beast hunts, merchant escorts and all the rest would never have open slots left — but now they're all abandoned with no one to take them, a total mess! Thanks to that, complaints come in every single day and it's pissing me off to death~! What am I supposed to do about them all running off to the mine~?! God, this is so irritating~!"
Declaring she couldn't take it without a drink, she knocked back a glass in one go, narrowed her already-slitted eyes even further, and spat on the floor.
"Which means that right now, the adventurer's guild is more than happy to welcome even an iron-ore scrap of a girl like you."
"Scrap…"
"I'm not wrong, am I? If you don't like hearing it, hurry up and clear some commissions and climb to copper ore at least. Come on, come on — quest bargain sale~! Pick whatever you want~! Being this nice to a girl with nothing but big tits is a one-time offer, you know? Right now I might even quietly OK a quest above your rank~?"
No wonder she got demoted. This bitch is genuinely beyond saving.
Every bottom-rung adventurer who might have harassed her had gone off to the mine. She'd already been worked up, and the disappointment hit hard. In Reina's head, she'd already scripted the whole story — walking into the adventurer's guild, getting sexually harassed by self-proclaimed seniors, being forcibly recruited into that nasty clan the gatekeeper had mentioned, and enduring all sorts of things. All of it had fallen apart.
Having ordinary sex with a male prostitute at this point feels off, too… and getting done by the woman right in front of me is also kind of weird… haah…
Those guys weren't going to work in the mine forever. She needed someone to kill time with and vent stress on. So she dug through the quest board, ignored the gathering section, and eyed the beast-hunting requests — but none of the enemies matched Reina's level or tastes.
Every last one of them has no genitals… ah, a war wolf? Eugh… of course it's a female… pass on that one too…
"Could you not dirty up the quest board? Cleaning it is a pain, you know~!"
"Mmnnngh…!!"
Plenty of quests, nothing she liked.
And so her hand reached out.
"Hm? That one…"
Seeing the quest Reina had grabbed, the receptionist's expression turned complicated. She puffed away at her cigarette with a look that said she never expected anyone to bring that one over — and sure enough, this idiot dragon held it out without a second thought.
"Hey, big-tits-only girl. Can you not even read? Or is it because you're a demi-human?"
"Don't treat me like an idiot. I know what kind of commission this is."
"And a girl who knows that is bringing me a copper-ore quest?"
"You're the one who said even quests above my rank were OK."
"Well, yeah, but… look at this! Recommended party size: ten people! No rescue! The reward is weirdly pathetic, and the only people who've taken it are failures! An iron ore like you shouldn't be eyeing a bandit extermination quest~!"
Slap, slap!
The receptionist smacked the request sheet Reina had brought and fumed. This was the very quest the Black Witch had so carefully warned her about — and she'd gone and picked it up in broad daylight. Even this demoted receptionist seemed to know the stories about the bandit gang; her brows knitted in irritation. But Reina had no intention of backing down.
"Even if one iron ore who just walked in today disappears, it won't hurt you any, right?"
"It won't hurt me, but if it gets found out, that's a problem."
"If I come back after successfully wiping them out, I'll spread the word that it was all thanks to you. If I fail, just pretend a girl like me never existed. …That work for you?"
"……Nngh."
Cornered by her own earlier words, the receptionist fretted for a long moment before finally taking the request sheet.
"Don't go snitching on me somewhere, got it?"
"I won't, so just give me the info. You'll at least cover the basics, right?"
"Info, huh…"
After processing the paperwork for accepting the commission, she rummaged through her desk and pulled out documents on the bandit gang as well. The damage reports were thick; the receptionist clearly didn't enjoy handling this, and she summarized it briefly.
"The Pig-Head Bandits. They operate between the highlands near Orbie and the main roads. True to the name, they hide their faces behind pig-head masks. They act at any hour, morning or night — but according to the records, they have a weird habit of only operating on this particular day of the week."
"Only this day every week? That is blatantly suspicious."
"Must be some kind of custom. Their main plunder is ore from the mines. They occasionally hit merchants on the main roads, but the damage there isn't major. Ore is this city's primary product, so a support request went to the Royal Capital a while back — but with the Demon King's army only recently defeated, help still hasn't arrived, so the commission got posted to the adventurer's guild. Naturally this place is full of trash, so they got wrecked and came crawling back. Especially girls like you — not only do they not come out looking good, there's a rumor they get sold off somewhere. If you don't want that happening to you, you'd better quit right now."
"I heard they might have ties to the guild itself?"
"Who told you that?"
"Hit a nerve?"
"I don't know anything~! I've only been stuck in this goddamn place for a short while, and every single guy who talks to me is trash, so I've got way too many suspects, you know? Rumor is they're connected to some clan in the guild… seriously, everyone's trash, so the list of possibilities is endless."
"All of them beyond saving?"
"Beyond saving… I really wish it stopped at that. This commission was posted by the guild master, and the bounty is weirdly low, too… even a fresh transfer like me can tell something's off… aaaaah~! Forget it~! Saying this stuff to an iron ore like you is just putting a noose around my own neck!! You've heard enough — go die already! No, go roll around like a dog!"
Is this person really guild staff?
"The paperwork's done, so do whatever you want. I really hate watching a big-tits-only girl like you bounce around inside the guild, so I'd prefer you don't come back in one piece."
More than half of that was clearly sincere.
"So today happens to be their active day…"
By now she was used to the receptionist's venom-laced sincerity, so she ignored it and called up the local geography in her mind.
Main roads… highlands…
She'd seen them while flying in yesterday; the surrounding terrain sketched itself out easily.
"The sheer highlands over that way are especially well-known. Nobody goes near there on this day, so if you take a look around, you'll run into them right away."
"That's right by the mine."
"They're so pathetic they can't even deal with a bandit gang camping out in plain sight."
At this point she was practically advertising that something was connected — but Reina asked nothing further. Right now she wasn't the hero Reina; she was iron-ore adventurer Reina. Her appearance was eye-catching enough that some people might recognize her, but having come this far to throw her life away, her interest wasn't in "bandit extermination" at all. It lay somewhere entirely different.
"Obviously a group of men, right?"
"Obviously. I've been telling you this whole time what happens to the women. Confirmed members alone put them at about twenty. One wrong step and a weak little hole like yours is guaranteed to get torn into a ragged, filthy rag."
"Enough with the threats. Any other info?"
"Apparently among the items they use are restraint tools that used to belong to the Demon King's army. No idea where they got them, but after the Demon King's forces collapsed, their gear started circulating all over, so maybe they picked some up that way. The old guild I used to work at was also struggling to recover Demon King army equipment, so we got hit by the fallout too. Alright, I'm done being bothered, so check the details here yourself. They pay a separate bounty if you bring back the items those guys use, so if you somehow survive, be smart about grabbing them~! I doubt you'll still look presentable after reading this, but you never know, right?"
Dismissed to the very end. Hmm, is this it…?
She took in the information on the highlands and the restraint tools the receptionist had handed over.
Devil's restraints… the type that get more dangerous the more times you're hit… those were standard-issue supplies for the entire Demon King's army, right? Every hit forcibly strips your equipment and binds you naked under a curse… three hits and it's an armor-break verdict, leaving you naked and restrained. But if your level was high enough or your resistance was strong, they didn't work — so even if they were absolute against certain targets, our party treated them like toys.
To Reina, they were especially laughable items.
But.
Devil's restraints… mage-hunting type?
She knew the devil's restraints themselves, but not the words attached after them.
Slightly different from the devil's restraints I know? And Monkey's Tail? I've never heard of this item… there's information calling it a cursed item, so why aren't the other fields filled in?
In the middle of that, something even Reina didn't recognize was listed. She could proudly claim to know the Demon King's army better than anyone — and yet here was something even she didn't know. Naturally, no information was provided. For something that supposedly had quite a few victims, the fact that nothing was written here left only one conclusion: the guild was hiding the information.
"What are you staring at? Stop asking questions and get lost already."
The receptionist clearly had no intention of digging up more information, and neither did Reina.
Fine. Winning was never the point anyway. Getting wrecked without knowing the details is half the fun, isn't it?
Nyeheheh—♡
"What is with this girl… is her head broken…?"
Finally in a good mood, Reina grinned idiotically — and the receptionist bunched her freckles together into a thoroughly unpleasant expression as she recoiled. She'd explained the bandits' danger as thoroughly as needed, and not only had this girl still accepted the quest, she was standing there laughing to herself. Anyone could see she was weird.
Well then, I've got what I wanted — time to head back, get ready, and take off right away~!
"H-hey? Why did you just laugh?! Hey, hey, can you hear me?!"
—Clatter-clatter-clatter!!!
"Hey! Iron ore!!!"
The moment Reina turned her back, the receptionist shouted something after her at the top of her lungs — but none of it reached her ears. The perverted dragon dashed out on light, excited feet, was home in no time, and there pulled out a certain item and equipped it.
"With this… nufufu…"

"Auuuugh♡ Ugh♡ Ah, this feeling is so gooood—♡"
A nasty iron ornament locked around her ankle. At the same time, red smoke shimmered up from Reina's body and vanished into the sky. A languid sensation of something vital draining from inside her made her body sway — but she didn't fall. She simply smiled pleasantly again, sprinted out through Orbie's main gate, and in a place where no one could see, unfurled her wings and took flight.
Rape~♡ Sex~♡ Rape~♡ Sex~♡
Ten minutes to the highlands the Pig-Head Bandits used as their base. Fortunately, the moment she rose over the highlands she spotted a suspicious group, so there was no need to waste time. With the aphrodisiac she'd applied that morning and the heat still not cooled, Reina dove in a steep descent, determined to finish things before either faded.
"Ahah~♡ Ahahha~♡"
The monster dropping from the sky laughed with pure delight, already savoring what was about to happen. From this point on, something truly terrible was going to unfold. So terrible that tears would come of it.
Of course — not to the bandits. To Reina herself.
Defeat-addicted Reina had not the slightest intention of winning against a mere bandit gang. Her mind was filled with nothing but the desire to lose.
