Final Broadcast and Biological Creation
Kim Jihun was hosting the final broadcast of his own gaming stream. As he wrapped it up, a bittersweet mix of reluctance and refreshment washed over him.
'That was fun.'
He'd experienced so many enjoyable moments while streaming—playing games, chatting and laughing with viewers, even some quirky and fun incidents along the way. Ending it now left a lingering sense of regret.
'But with material creation finished, it's time to head to school.'
He glanced at the Creator God Manual tucked in the corner of his desk. The familiar golden glow displayed the text:
Chapter 2 - Biological Creation
Existence lives.
Required Creation Force: 300,000
Current Creation Force: 300,860
Would you like to begin Biological Creation? (Y/N)
He had finally reached it—the second chapter of the Creator God Manual, Biological Creation.
"I gained a ton of Creation Force from making that light orb."
Creating the light orb had drained a huge amount of his mental energy. Pouring in the computational power of a high-rank Creator God, along with all his divine power and Creation Force, he'd barely managed to craft that tiny fusion-powered sun—a miniature light orb—that now peacefully illuminated his subspace. Thanks to that, he'd netted a whopping 100,000 Creation Force, bringing his total to over 300,000—a massive leap from before.
Now, Kim Jihun had earned the chance to step into a new realm: Biological Creation.
Taking a deep breath, he muttered with resolve.
"Yes. I will begin Biological Creation."
Whoosh!
A brighter, more sacred, and warmer light poured from the book than ever before. A holy aura swept through Kim Jihun's entire body, resonating with his own. The divine glow began to infuse him, gradually evolving his soul core and divine rank.
"Ahh!"
Kim Jihun let out a cry of ecstasy. Knowledge of all life and souls in the world flooded his mind like a tidal wave—from the humblest plants to the pinnacle of intelligence, humanity itself! Tasting fragments of life's birth and death, he writhed in rapture.
"Biological Creation."
Now, an even more advanced authority of creation dwelled within him—not just dominion over mere matter, but power over life and flesh as well. Kim Jihun smiled in joy.
...
After entering Biological Creation, the first thing Kim Jihun did was rush to find his mother.
"Mom!"
Stomping excitedly, he burst out of his room and approached his mother, who was quietly watching TV in the living room.
Seeing her son's unusually excited face, his mother asked curiously.
"Jihun, what's gotten into you? And no running in the house."
"Mom, that's not important right now! I can fix your back!"
"What are you talking about?"
His mother had no idea what had sparked this sudden behavior. Jihun wasn't the type to make a fuss like this.
But Kim Jihun ignored her confusion and got straight to the point.
"I learned a massage that relieves herniated discs. Lie down on the sofa quick."
That's right. He planned to heal her under the pretense of a massage. That's why he suggested it to her.
Smiling at his proposal, she replied.
"Ho ho, is that so? Then maybe I'll let my son give me a massage."
She didn't mind this at all. What parent would dislike a child offering to massage them?
With her cooperation secured, Kim Jihun nodded at his mother lying face-down on the sofa.
'Perfect. Let's do this.'
Having entered Biological Creation, Kim Jihun now possessed medical knowledge surpassing any doctor on Earth. Combined with his new power to create and heal life, fixing his mother's back would be a breeze.
He placed his hands on her lower back.
"Here we go."
He began channeling his Creation Force.
Fwhoosh.
A golden glow slowly formed around his hands. Startled, Kim Jihun thought,
'Oh right—Creation Force always shows as golden light. How do I hide this?'
He pondered briefly, but found a simple solution quickly.
"Mom, the masseuse I learned from said you have to close your eyes for it to work best. Relax your muscles completely to let it reach your back. So, close your eyes please."
Just close her eyes. He vaguely recalled something from a TV massage segment.
Without suspicion, his mother shut her eyes.
"Alright? Eyes closed."
'Whew.'
Kim Jihun sighed in relief. The golden glow would definitely appear when he used Creation Force, and getting caught would be trouble. Dodging that was a win.
He focused on her back again.
'Alright. Time to heal Mom's back for good.'
With a serious expression, he placed his hands on her back once more and murmured the new divine incantation.
Existence lives.
⟨ Biological Creation ⟩
A faint whisper escaped his lips, but it carried undeniable divine power and Creation Force. His hands began to glow with golden light.
Kim Jihun sensed it instantly.
'So this is the mystery of life.'
He could feel everything about his mother before him—the movement of her joints, the structure and position of bones and muscles, her pulsing heart. And the severely compressed nerves in her spine. All laid bare before his power, as if he could grasp every single cell.
Assessing her condition, he sighed inwardly.
'You've suffered so much.'
Her body wasn't in great shape. It wasn't just the herniated disc—joints throughout were worn from overwork, and stress had tanked her overall condition. Far more aged than her years warranted.
Closing his eyes, he swallowed his guilt.
'To think you've endured all this...'
Had he ever tried this hard to understand his parents' struggles? Feeling remorse at her exposed health, he resolved to pour everything into restoring her.
He summoned all his Creation Force.
'First, the herniated disc.'
His Creation Force flowed from his fingertips into her body, guided by his will straight to her spine. It concentrated on the intervertebral discs, especially those bearing the most impact.
The ruptured fibrous rings and leaking nucleus pulposus were pressing on her nerves. He began the healing.
Fwhoosh!
A sacred golden light erupted from his fingertips. A miracle infused with divine power unfolded. The compressing nucleus pulposus receded into the fibrous rings. Inflammation from the leak vanished. The fully displaced disc returned to its normal position, good as new.
In an instant, he had perfectly 'healed' the back tormented by the herniated disc.
'Good. Herniated disc done.'
A bead of sweat trickled down his forehead. This was his first time with Biological Creation—an unfamiliar endeavor demanding heavy mental strain.
Yet it didn't feel taxing. As her son, healing his mother with his own power filled him with profound satisfaction.
'Next, the other joints.'
He wasn't stopping at the back. His fingertips moved to her shoulders and neck.
Existence lives.
⟨ Biological Creation ⟩
The incantation flowed softly again. His fingertips blazed gold once more as Creation Force poured into her. Golden energy surged along her carotid artery, circulating everywhere—worn joints, fatigued muscles, a stressed heart, deteriorated digestive organs. It restored deficits and damage throughout her body. Worn joints mended, organs improved.
In a flash, Kim Jihun had shaved about ten years off her biological age.
"Whew!"
He wiped the sweat from his brow and gazed proudly at his mother on the sofa. She hadn't noticed yet, but he knew. Her internals had rejuvenated. Her outward appearance remained the same, but every organ, muscle, bone, and joint thrummed with youthful vigor, as if decades rewound.
Satisfied, he told her.
"Massage is done."
Opening her eyes, she asked puzzled.
"That was weird. You barely did anything—didn't feel refreshing at all."
She'd hoped for a solid massage from her son. But he'd mostly faked it, pouring his all into creation power instead. Unaware, she assumed he'd half-assed it.
But Kim Jihun replied confidently.
"No, that's how it's done. Try moving your back."
His assured expression made her look at him oddly. He hadn't done much, yet spoke with total conviction. Still, she stood and slowly twisted her back, not expecting much.
Her eyes widened.
"Huh?!"
No pain.
"What kind of massage is this, Jihun?"
She was stunned. Her herniated disc was severe—any twist beyond a certain angle brought stabbing agony like a needle. Yet now, her spine moved freely, as if the problem never existed.
Gaping at him, she marveled.
"Incredible."
To her admiration, he just smiled and added,
"Go to the hospital later for a checkup, just to be sure it's fully healed."
Grinning brightly, he met her astonished gaze.
