Chapter 7
Chapter 7
The Meteor Fall of My Ex-Girlfriend, and the Second Pair of Lips
“I’m… not going. I can’t leave you, noona. Take responsibility.”
In front of the apartment complex at 3 a.m.
A 2-meter-tall tank who had just woken up from yet another knockout was clinging to the taxi door, growling pitifully. The taxi driver sat frozen, gripping the steering wheel with a pale face, trembling.
“Haah… for fuck’s sake.”
Why was my life—no, my afterlife—this exhausting?
Letting out a deep sigh, I tapped Taeseok’s broad shoulder.
“Hey. Kim Taeseok. Calm down and step out of the taxi for a second.”
“Nu… noona… are you coming with me?”
“Yeah. Get out. And close your eyes. Lower your head in front of me.”
At my soft (and extremely fake) tone, Taeseok’s eyes trembled. This hopeless virgin idiot was clearly recalling the “midline kiss” from under the table earlier.
Blushing furiously, he crawled out of the taxi and stood in front of me, squeezing his eyes shut. Then he bent his massive frame down and puckered his lips forward like a giant duck waiting for a kiss.
“Ugh, disgusting bastard.”
Without a moment’s hesitation, I gathered a faint aura into my right hand. The senses of a former rank-one player still worked perfectly even in this glass-cannon body.
Target: the back of his thick neck—his vital point.
“A kiss? Screw that. Drop dead.”
Thwack—!!
With a dull impact, my hand struck the back of his neck mercilessly.
“Ghk—!”
Not even able to scream properly, the giant tank collapsed onto the asphalt, eyes rolling back. That made it his third blackout today.
“Driver, please shove him into the back seat.”
I nudged the unconscious Taeseok with my foot and stuffed him into the taxi, then handed the driver two crisp 50,000 won bills.
“Yongsan-gu, Hannam-dong, address OOO. If he wakes up and starts spouting nonsense, just dump him at the nearest police station.”
Vroooom—!
The taxi roared off like it was escaping hell itself and vanished from sight.
“Well, he’s rank six. He’ll probably wake up before he even arrives. My hand hurts more than anything.”
Shaking my aching wrist, I plopped down onto an old bench in front of the apartment.
The cold dawn air brushed against my bare legs beneath the oversized shirt. Taeseok was dealt with, but there was still one person I absolutely had to tell about my reincarnation into this ridiculous body.
With trembling hands, I pulled out my phone and dialed a number I had pressed countless times in my previous life.
3 a.m. Normally, she’d be asleep—but her? She’d definitely be awake.
Ring—click.
“…Hello?”
A hoarse, cracked voice came through the receiver.
Yoo Sehee—Korea’s rank three archmage, the core damage dealer of my party… and my ex-girlfriend.
“Hey. It’s me.”
“…Who is this? How did you get this number?”
Her voice was sharp with suspicion. Behind it, I could faintly hear her sniffling. She must have believed I died in the boss raid and had been crying alone all this time. Something twisted painfully in my chest.
“Sehee. It’s me. Jinho. Kang Jinho.”
“…What? Are you kidding me right now? Who the hell are you?! Jinho oppa… oppa can’t…! Hic…!”
Her voice broke into sobs.
Of course. She gets a call from her supposedly dead ex-boyfriend’s number, and the voice on the other end is that of a clear, delicate girl.
“Damn… how do I even explain this…”
“Who are you… how did you get his phone…!”
“Sehee, listen carefully. Remember our first date? You got so nervous you threw a fireball at my head and burned off my bangs? I said I’d tease you about it forever. And when you sleep, you snore—I even recorded it—”
“…!!”
Her crying stopped instantly.
“…Is it really you? Why does your voice sound like that? How are you even alive? I thought you were really dead…”
“It’s complicated, but I’m alive. I’m at the bench in front of my house—”
“Don’t move. Stay right there. I’m coming now. And be ready—I’m never letting you go again.”
Click.
The call ended abruptly. The obsession in her voice when she said she wouldn’t let me go sent chills down my spine.
“Haah… she’s going to faint the moment she sees this body.”
I leaned back on the bench with a sigh.
But barely three minutes after the call ended—
Rumble—!!
A thunderous roar shook the night sky like a meteor shower crashing down. Something slammed into the asphalt right in front of my bench with an explosive wave of mana.
As the dust settled and blue mana particles drifted like fireflies—
A figure stood there, breathing heavily, red hair blazing like fire.
Yoo Sehee. Rank three archmage. She had literally flown here, pushing her flight magic to the limit.
“Haah… haah…”
Her tear-streaked red eyes locked onto me.
A silver-haired girl sitting on a bench, wearing nothing but a large shirt, her pale legs exposed.
There wasn’t even 1% resemblance to the Kang Jinho she knew.
“Uh… Sehee. Just don’t panic. My body is kind of—”
“Kang Jinho… is that really you?”
“Y-yeah. Just the outside changed. Crazy, right? I’m losing my mind too—”
Before I could finish—
She kicked off the ground and rushed at me like a missile.
Bang—!!
“Ghk…?!”
My back slammed hard against the bench. Her hands pressed down on either side of my face, nearly crushing the wooden planks. A perfect “bench slam.”
I was completely trapped between her arms. The look in her eyes wasn’t that of a sentimental ex—it was pure, predatory obsession.
And then—
Thud—!
“Mm—?!”
Her lips crashed into mine like a headbutt.
It wasn’t a kiss—it was an assault. The metallic taste of blood filled my mouth as her hot tongue forced its way past my teeth, completely overwhelming my breath.
This was insane. Completely insane. Even if she was my ex, we were both girls now—
My old rank-one mindset screamed at me to shove her away.
But my body reacted completely differently.
“Ah… why…?”
The overwhelming pressure of her mana and presence crushed me, and this fragile body surrendered instantly to her strength.
Even though she was a woman, the “predatory leader” aura she exuded sent chills down my spine. It was different from Taeseok—this was colder, sharper, more intoxicating.
My back arched involuntarily against the bench.
The hands I tried to push her away with instead clutched weakly at her collar. My mind blurred as her relentless movements overwhelmed me, a soft sound escaping my lips.
“Ah… Sehee…”
My own voice sounded soft, breathy—completely unlike me.
And through the thin shirt, the soft pressure of our bodies pressing together sent heat surging through me.
My old identity was being torn apart, leaving behind only someone melting under her overwhelming control.
The gods’ chat exploded to the point of collapse.
Playful Pervert God: HOLY SHIT!!! BENCH SLAM HEADBUTT KISS!!! THIS IS INSANE!!!
Goddess Obsessed with Beauty: AAAAAH!!! THIS IS PERFECT!!! TOTAL FALL!!!
Tentacle God: (has already ascended and gone silent)
The Playful Pervert God dumps 2,000,000 points!!
After what felt like forever, Sehee finally pulled back, a thin strand of saliva stretching between our swollen lips.
“Haah… hey, Yoo Sehee! Can’t you see I’m a girl now?!”
Panting, I shouted with a flushed face. She gently caressed my cheek, smiling with obsessive affection.
“I don’t care if you’re a man, a woman, or a monster. You came back alive.”
“…Still, this is a bit much—”
“Stop talking and get up. I’m never letting you go again. Even if you die, I’ll tie you to my side.”
Ignoring my protests, she grabbed my wrist and strode into the apartment building.
“Hey! My parents are sleeping!”
“Quiet. We’re going to your room.”
In the end, I was dragged along by the rank three mage, sneaking inside like a thief.
“Go wash up. Or… should we go together?”
“Are you insane?! I’ll go first, just stay put!”
I ran into the bathroom and splashed cold water over myself. In the mirror, my body was flushed pink from just one kiss.
Completely insane.
After throwing on one of my mom’s spare pajamas, I returned to my room.
Sehee was already lying on my bed, waiting.
“Come here, oppa.”
She opened her arms and pulled me in.
A narrow single bed. Ex-girlfriend and ex-boyfriend—now both women.
Her warmth pressed tightly against me as her hand slowly began to slip inside my clothes.
“Sehee… where do you think your hand is going—hey!”
“Oppa… no, Jinho. You smell so good. Your skin’s so soft…”
“Wait—hey, seriously—mm…!”
In the dark room, the rationality that never broke even before boss monsters began to melt away under her relentless touch.
That night…
Would my last bit of innocence survive?
