The Last Day at the Office
The next day, at ten in the morning, Min-ho stood in front of the company building.
So this is the last time.
Four years he had spent in that place—overtime every day, reading his bosses' moods, living for nothing but payday. All of that was finished now.
Today, as on the days before, he wore black leggings and a white shirt. It felt natural already.
He stepped into the lobby. People on their way in moved past him, and a few of the women glanced his way. Their eyes settled on his lower half: the outline inside the leggings, his usual size, more than twenty centimeters.
"That guy..."
"He's enormous..."
The whispers were small, but he caught them. Min-ho got on the elevator.
Fifth floor. Sales Team Two.
The doors opened.
"Assistant Manager Jeong!"
A coworker called out, bright with welcome.
"It's been ages! Ten whole days!"
The office turned to look at him. The women especially. Their eyes went wide. The outline in his leggings was far too clear.
"Assistant Manager Jeong... that's some equipment..."
One of the women murmured it under her breath.
"At that size..."
Min-ho walked to his desk, and more stares poured over him with every step.
Then a problem started.
So many eyes—the women's above all—were getting to him.
No... not now...
He couldn't stop it. Inside the leggings it began to swell, from twenty centimeters to twenty-five, then thirty. The fabric drew tight and started jutting forward.
"Oh—"
One of the women clapped a hand over her mouth.
"That's... completely..."
The whole office saw him hard. More than thirty centimeters shoved the leggings out, standing nearly horizontal.
"Holy..."
"My god..."
The women whispered among themselves. The men looked stunned as well.
"Assistant Manager Jeong... at that size..."
"That's seriously top-tier, isn't it?"
Min-ho's face went red. There was no way to hide it.
"Assistant Manager Jeong, are you all right?"
The section chief asked it with a worried look.
"Yes... I'm sorry. It just reacted all of a sudden..."
"Oh, it's fine. I've never seen anything as impressive as what you've got."
The section chief laughed.
"Anyway—you're here for the team leader? The resignation papers?"
"Yes."
"Go on to her office. She'll be waiting."
Min-ho walked to the team leader's office, still erect. The women's eyes followed him the whole way.
He knocked.
"Come in."
Kang Ji-eun's voice.
Min-ho opened the door and stepped inside. Ji-eun was seated at her desk. She wore a gray suit today, and beneath the blouse a black lace bra showed through. The moment she saw him, her eyes widened. His lower half was still fully hard.
"Min-ho... that..."
"I'm sorry. Out there, with everyone looking..."
"No, it's fine. It only means you're healthy."
Ji-eun stood, though her gaze never left his crotch.
"I saw it yesterday, but seeing it hard..."
She came toward him.
"It's really... something."
Ji-eun was 172 centimeters, four taller than Min-ho, and the angle had her looking slightly down at him.
"Sit."
When he took the chair, she perched on the edge of the desk.
"It's been ten days."
"Yes..."
"A lot must have happened in between."
Ji-eun drew out a set of papers.
"Your resignation. Sign here."
Min-ho took them and signed.
"So this is the end."
"Yes. You worked hard these four years, Min-ho."
She studied him.
"You said you were going to be an AV actor? Which company?"
"Venus Entertainment."
"Venus? They're third in the industry. Impressive."
Ji-eun smiled.
"With what you've got... of course they would be."
Her eyes dropped again. His erection had eased a little, but it was still large.
"You said you had plans tonight?"
"Yes. With a co-star..."
"Who?"
Something in her expression shifted, just slightly.
"Park Yoon-a."
Ji-eun's eyes went wider still.
"Park Yoon-a? The Park Yoon-a?"
"Yes."
"Wow... Min-ho, that's incredible. Park Yoon-a is top-tier in the industry, isn't she?"
"That's what I hear."
Ji-eun looked genuinely impressed.
"As expected... with what you've got, of course it's possible."
She leaned in closer.
"Even so, keep our plans for the day after tomorrow. We said we'd have dinner."
"I will."
"Good. The day after tomorrow, at seven... Le Mer, in Cheongdam-dong."
"Understood."
As Min-ho started to rise, she called him back.
"Min-ho."
"Yes?"
"Does the age gap bother you? I'm thirty-eight. You're thirty-two."
"No... it's fine."
"Then starting the day after tomorrow, call me noona. Make it easy."
Ji-eun smiled.
"Ji-eun noona."
"Yes... Ji-eun noona."
He said it awkwardly.
"Good."
She stood and came to his side. From 172 centimeters she looked down at all 168 of him.
"You may be short, but..."
Her hand indicated his lower half.
"...something else is big. Very big."
Min-ho's face burned.
"And I'll be straight with you."
Ji-eun lowered her voice.
"I'm married. It's been five years."
"But things with my husband... aren't good. His..."
She looked him dead in the eye.
"It isn't even half of yours."
Min-ho was startled. He hadn't expected her to say it so plainly.
"So I'm looking forward to the day after tomorrow even more."
Ji-eun brushed his cheek, light as anything.
"You can show me, can't you? Just how impressive it is."
"Yes... Ji-eun noona."
"Good. I'll see you then."
On his way out, his coworkers saw him off.
"Assistant Manager Jeong, that was something!"
One of the men said it with a grin.
"At that size, honestly... I'm jealous."
The women kept stealing glances.
"Min-ho, when your film comes out, I'm definitely watching!"
One of them had worked up the nerve to say it.
"I'll be rooting for you!"
Min-ho waved and left the building.
It's over. Office life.
Seven in the evening.
Min-ho was waiting for Yoon-a at Exit 3 of Gangnam Station.
"Min-ho!"
Yoon-a came toward him, waving. She wore a sky-blue dress today, with nothing underneath, so every line of her body showed.
"Were you waiting long?"
"No. I just got here."
"Then let's go!"
Yoon-a linked her arm through his.
The restaurant was a nearby Italian place she had reserved.
"The pasta here is really good. I come all the time."
They took a table by the window.
"How was the office today?"
"I handled the resignation. It's completely over now."
"No regrets?"
"None. If anything, I feel lighter."
Yoon-a broke into a bright smile.
"Good. You're meant for bigger things. With what you've got..."
Beneath the table she stretched out a foot and let it rest against his leg.
"...you can succeed anywhere."
The food arrived, and it looked delicious.
"Min-ho."
"Yes?"
"Our film comes out next Friday. Editing's all finished."
"Already?"
"Yeah. The CEO wants it out fast. Says they're confident."
Yoon-a took his hand.
"I'm nervous. How people are going to react."
"It'll do well."
"Yeah," Min-ho said. "I can believe that, with you in it."
After the meal they walked through a nearby park.
"Min-ho."
"Yes?"
"Do you want to come to my place tonight?"
Yoon-a asked it shyly.
"Not a shoot... just the two of us."
Min-ho nodded.
"I'd like that."
Yoon-a's home was a high-end apartment in Gangnam—a wide, tidy living room, and through the big window the night view of the city.
"Wow... this place is really something."
"I bought it with seven years of working hard. I'm proud of that."
Yoon-a poured the wine.
"A toast. To our film."
"Cheers."
They sat on the sofa and drank.
"Min-ho."
"Yes?"
"Tonight... let's take it slow. It isn't a shoot."
Yoon-a kissed him.
"We have plenty of time."
Min-ho drew her in.
"Yoon-a..."
"Mm. Let's go to the bedroom."
They went.
Yoon-a slipped off the dress: a small, taut body, 160 centimeters. Min-ho undressed as well, and when he pulled the leggings down he sprang free.
"Min-ho... it isn't a shoot tonight, so... let's go slow."
Yoon-a lay back on the bed. Min-ho moved over her.
"Yoon-a..."
"Tonight, just call me Yoon-a. No need to be formal."
"Yoon-a..."
"Mm. I like that."
The two of them became one. It was different from the shoot—deeper, and far more intense.
How much time passed, he couldn't have said. They lay side by side, soaked in sweat.
"Min-ho..."
"Yeah."
"Tonight... was really good."
"For me too."
Yoon-a looked at him.
"You're special to me. With other actors... it feels different."
"You're special to me too."
Yoon-a hesitated a moment, then spoke.
"Min-ho... do you want to date?"
"What?"
He stared at her, startled.
"Properly. Seeing other people is fine, but... you still have someone special, don't you?"
Yoon-a took his hand.
"I want you to be my special person."
"I see a few people now... but you, as my special lover."
Min-ho's heart pounded.
"I... think of you as special too."
"Then... that's a yes?"
"Yes. Let's date."
Yoon-a beamed and pulled him into her arms.
"Thank you. I'm really happy."
"Me too."
She kissed him.
"Let's see each other often. Not just for shoots. As lovers."
"I'd like that."
And so they spent the night.
The next morning, Min-ho woke in Yoon-a's apartment. She was still asleep, her face peaceful. His lover.
Yoon-a... my girlfriend.
He still couldn't quite believe it.
He got up carefully and looked out the window.
Tonight... Ji-eun noona.
A married woman of thirty-eight. Tall, at 172 centimeters. The team leader who had always been cold. A meeting with her.
How is this going to go...
He was with Yoon-a now, but in this world, being involved with more than one person wasn't treated as much of a problem. Yoon-a would share herself with others, and Min-ho would meet other people as well. Even so, to each other they would be something a little more special. That was what a lover meant here.
What he felt was expectation tangled with nerves. Another new experience was already waiting.
