Lone Wolf Hunt and Forbidden Cravings
I didn't want to wake my mom, who was sleeping soundly. Grabbing the axe and shield I'd just acquired, I slipped quietly out of the cave alone and headed calmly toward the wolves' location.
That's why appearance matters, whether it's a person or a beast.
Compared to the wild boars, the wolves were excessively cute. Though fiercely dangerous in the wild, from a distance they were just pleasing animals to observe. Of course, if they bared their fangs and charged at me, they'd transform into terrifying monsters.
"Awooooooo. Awoooo."
That one! Thanks to the minimap, I knew exactly which wolf was howling. The source of that sound was right where I'd killed the wild boar—the spot with the tempting carcass, calling the others.
As expected, all the wolves headed toward the trap I'd set.
If they're gathered like that, luring them won't be hard.
The trap site was close to the safe zone. With my shield, I chose to get near the wolves. Using my enhanced hearing, I scouted them while ensuring the wind didn't carry my scent their way, securing my position.
Step by step, I drew closer to the pack.
It's like a picture of grapes I can't reach. Worried about boars bursting out, I'd dug the pit as deep as possible despite the effort. Now the wolves couldn't get in even if they wanted the boar meat.
If they were like tigers or other cats, they'd climb with their claws, but wolves can't escape that.
Wolves don't climb trees. With the boar down in the deep pit, they could only gaze longingly. Watching from behind, a dangerous idea struck me.
If even one falls in while they're clustered like that, it's as good as dead.
Once a wolf dropped in, it couldn't get out—death was certain. The impulse hit me to make a few drop while they were bunched up.
Let's do it! Even if I get bitten, it won't hurt, and Mom can heal me.
External wounds in Warrior Mode only showed as red marks and swelling, no matter how severe. Plus, with HP introduced, I felt no pain. Confident I wouldn't die, I seized the chance.
Wolves aren't dumb animals. There won't be a second opportunity.
This was the only time they'd stare sadly at the unreachable boar carcass. Sensing no such chance would come again, I stood up.
And charged forward with full force.
"Raaah!"
As the distance closed, I yelled to startle them. The nearest wolf, spooked, tumbled into the trap.
Got one.
Right from the start, I'd dropped one. Mission accomplished already.
"Woof. Woof."
"Grrrr. Woof. Woof."
Like true predators, they bared teeth and went on alert. Ignoring them, I rushed ahead. Seeing a wolf leap at me, I blocked with my shield and bashed it away.
"Kyeeeng."
The wolf flew back into the trap. In an instant, I'd effectively taken out two.
Time to bail.
Two were down below. Tempted to drop one more, but that risked the remaining five surrounding me. Satisfied with one—success—I turned joyfully and bolted.
What the hell! Why are they so fast?
Wolves were different. The five scattered and pursued, the fastest one sinking teeth into my leg. Warrior Mode spared me the pain, but my step faltered, and I tripped.
"Grrrrk."
"Get off me!"
I swung my axe. Propping the shield, I stood.
Damn. They're surrounding me.
By the time I rose, all five wolves had me encircled. I backed away slowly. Better to move and watch for openings than standoff still.
"Woof. Woof."
They lunged from front and rear. I realized wolves were far smarter than I'd thought—just as one bit my thigh. HP dropped to 83%.
My leg felt stiff, but no pain brought relief as I swung the axe toward it.
"Kyeeeng."
The axe cleaved the wolf's torso. Blood flowed, but it wouldn't release me. Thwack. Thwack. Thwack. I kept swinging. Meanwhile, others tore into my body.
"Kyeeeeng."
Thwack! Finally, the thigh-biter died to my axe. As if spooked, the rest backed off.
Tough bastards.
The remaining four circled menacingly, wearing me down. Shield up, I retreated further.
Cunning ones. No matter what you do, I'll win in the end.
They bit and fled repeatedly. I had to endure. HP now at 33%. But I'd win. I had won.
I'd taken the hits to reach the safe zone they didn't know about. Now I vanished into the green safe area. From their view, I disappeared right in front of them.
I'd made it to safety.
"Hah. Hah. Hah."
Tension gone, even breathing was ragged. Eyes drooping. Dragging myself into the cave.
Sensing the changed air, Mom opened her eyes.
"Ah, son. What happened?"
"Fought some wolves."
"What?!"
"Don't freak. I already killed three. Pretty good, right?"
I asked if I'd done well, collapsing to the floor. I had to lie down; exhaustion hit hard.
Warrior Mode isn't exactly like the game.
In games, 1 HP left no hindrance. Here, it did. I was drained, sleepy.
"Your whole body is red. The wounds are bad, aren't they?"
"Got bitten a bit. HP's way down. Hah. Hah."
"You should've told Mom first before it got this bad. Sniff."
Mom teared up, drawing closer.
"Opportunities don't come twice. Grab 'em when they do—that's best."
"Still... sniff sniff. Money's not worth you going this far. Sniff sniff. Mom's sorry. Son. Sniff."
Mom burst into full tears. Powerless, I reached out shakily.
"Don't cry. Tired, but no pain. Four wolves left now—killing them will be easy."
I reassured her, wiping her tears. As I did, she licked my body. Licking through tears, she was my woman, thinking only of me. I knew her heart.

Back from the wolf encirclement, exhaustion put me to sleep. Without Mom the Healer, I might've died sleeping—but luckily, I rested easy. In that time, I felt it: Mom licking my body tirelessly. That warmth, that love, that desperation restored me fully.
HP 100%
Thanks to Mom's efforts, I awoke from near-death fully recovered. Grateful, I rose.
She must be exhausted.
Mom had licked nonstop till I was better, then confirmed and slept. Now she looked utterly spent.
Thanks, Mom. Sleep well.
Leaving sleeping Mom, I stretched. Body light and fine.
Escape's impossible now!
Via minimap, I checked the wolves. Two were stuck in the trap, immobile. Left there, starvation would kill them.
The other four will be on high alert from now on.
Wolves were craftier than expected. Their patrol patterns had already shifted. Hunting them meant leaving the safe zone.
This one's got real difficulty. Wonder how much it'll pay?
Seven wolves made success far harder than boars. Watching their minimap movements, I shuddered imagining all seven intact.
Third mission already this tough. What's ahead like?
Mom and I needed big money. Maximize earnings here before leaving. But struggling at three? Worries mounted.
But Mom's here! We'll make it somehow.
I gazed at my healing Mom. Alone? Could I even manage this? Good thing it's a mixed-gender tower.
"Mmm."
Mom shifted uncomfortably, sprawling legs wide. From below, I saw clearly: axe marks and a peek of pubic hair.
Hah—driving me crazy. Why am I like this?
I slapped my cheek hard. To snap out of it.
Get it together! Please!
I was messed up. Even slapping myself for shock, my eyes stayed glued to Mom's axe wound.
Maybe... maybe... this is the chance?
What I'd lacked courage to ask, swallowing it: her pussy. Precisely, the fluids from there. Didn't they have special effects too?
I wanted to test this theory.
No. I just want to see Mom's down there. Pathetic loser.
Conflict surged. Was this rational for tower-climbing, or just a deranged son craving Mom's secret spot? Couldn't tell.
Desire so strong blurred reason. Watching deeply sleeping Mom, I drowned in turmoil. Wished she'd wake and stop these thoughts.
The short yet endless conflict ended. In this torment, I made my decision.
