Chapter 220
Chapter 220
I answered Hye-jung’s question. She nodded slowly, telling Hye-yeon that they’d need to be increasingly careful as time went on.
Hye-yeon agreed. She noted that since there were only about 300 zombies right now, they could achieve total annihilation by dropping grenades from five drones; however, if the numbers exceeded 1,000, it would likely become dangerous.
Hye-jung, Hye-yeon, and I ate popcorn while watching a large TV screen. We watched the "second generation" slaves and Seo-yeon each pilot five drones, sweeping away the zombies. The popcorn was leftovers from a movie we watched recently, recycled from my Subspace.
A total of 20 drones split into two groups: half protected our hideout, and the other half headed toward the apartment complex to clear out the swarms. A pack of 300 zombies moving in a clump was easy prey for military drones dropping grenades from above.
As the grenades fell onto the crowded paths of the walking dead, anywhere from 5 to 20 zombies were taken out in a single blast.

"Oh, looks like Hye-ji just killed the Zombie Lord."
"Hm? How do you know that, Master? It's amazing how you can always tell lately."
"I just know. I have my ways."
Hye-jung tilted her head curiously. I found her expression so cute and arousing that I grabbed the back of her head and guided her toward my crotch.
Realizing my intent, Hye-jung didn't resist. She began to suck rhythmically, making wet, slurping noises. Feeling good, I kneaded her soft, pale buttocks and toyed with her.
Her sister, Hye-yeon, watched from the side before joining in. Seeing the two sisters sucking me together from both sides was a wonderful sight. I used both hands to stroke Hye-jung on the left and Hye-yeon on the right, making sure they felt good too.
"Wow, no wonder... the zombies just stopped moving. It's like they've fallen into a groggy state."
Seo-yeon, who was piloting drones with a VR headset on, must have overheard me. She spoke up in fascination.
Sure enough, on the TV screen, the zombie swarms had stopped and were just standing there blankly. Once Kim Hye-ji, who was covering our hideout, killed the Zombie Lord, all the zombies approaching us entered a stunned state.
Zombies under a Lord’s command lose all movement for 5 to 10 minutes when their leader dies, falling into a limp, dazed stupor. We called this the "groggy state." I had started calling it that because the internet wikis back home referred to it as "groggy" or "stunned," and soon all the slaves followed my lead.
"They're definitely groggy. Kill them all."
"Yes, Master."
The zombies coming toward our hideout were now even easier pickings. You just had to drop grenades on the stationary, bunched-up crowds. Since they weren't moving, the girls could aim calmly and take their time.
"Looks like our side is settled. How about the ones at the apartment complex?"
I looked toward Kim Ye-won and Choi Mi-young. They were busy piloting and couldn't see my gaze through their headsets, but they responded one after another.
"The zombies at the apartment complex are currently being decimated."
"The Zombie Lord there must have realized things were going south; the zombies are all scattering and running away. It'll be hard to identify which one is the Lord."
"Really? Then just thin their numbers as much as possible, wrap it up, and return."
""Yes, understood, Master!""
Among the evolved types, Zombie Lords are cunning; they bolt the moment they think they can't win. They are faster and more elusive than any other zombie, so Kim Hye-ji had been quite lucky to catch one.
"Once you're done, let's get dinner started. Mmm... Hye-jung, Hye-yeon, I'm almost there. Drink every drop, okay?"
""Slurp... Yes...♡""
the beautiful sisters replied, never stopping their work.
Nice. After dinner tonight, it's a sister sandwich. I'll take Hye-jung and Hye-yeon first, then work my way through the rest of the slaves.
One week later.
Tower 1st Floor. Project Zombie World.
September 15th. Approx. 8:00 AM.
I finished the firearms training for the second generation of slaves last night. Thanks to the sheer volume of rounds they’d fired... in my estimation, they were probably better shots than most soldiers in the South Korean army.
I’ve seen it in military dramas and movies—our soldiers don't actually get that much range time. Even those on the front lines might only fire 300 rounds a year. My slaves had been firing over 3,000 rounds a day in training, every day for two weeks.
"Alright, Second Gen cadets. You worked hard. Today, I’m heading to the apartment complex to recruit the Third Gen. That means the juniors you've been waiting for are finally coming."
""Yay!""
The second generation girls were beaming, their hearts fluttering at the prospect of newcomers. Their faces clearly said, Finally, we get to escape this godforsaken 'junior' life.
I had hinted at this to Hye-jung, who told Hye-yeon and Seo-yeon, and they had been telling the second gen girls that life gets a lot easier once you have underlings.
The second generation gave me looks filled with silent anticipation, urging me to bring the new girls quickly. To reward their expectations, I hopped on my flying skateboard and headed toward the apartment complex.
I hope they hand over the pretty women without any bloody resistance.
While monitoring the survivor groups in the complex via drone, I had already roughly selected the next batch in my mind. Naturally, I chose them based almost entirely on age and looks.
The population of that complex jumped from 100 to nearly 200 in an instant. They're like cockroaches. I guess word got out that it's safe because of our drone protection, so everyone’s flocking there... well, time to pay the tax. Heh.
The survivors there surely knew we were the ones protecting them. You’d have to be a complete idiot not to notice the military drones flying around, dropping bombs to keep the place safe.
Using the flying skateboard, I arrived at the entrance of the complex in no time. The path was clear, as the drones had already scrubbed the area of zombies.
I waved my hand at the entrance. It looked empty, but thanks to my Insight stat and sixth sense, I could feel many eyes watching me.
A moment later, a group of armed men approached warily.
"...W-what business do you have here?"
The leader of this survivor group—an old man who looked like a village elder—asked me politely. He already knew who I was and what kind of power (the drones) I commanded. He knew fighting was out of the question.
Based on the eavesdropping I'd done, he was the leader of the group that had joined the "Anti-Apartment Alliance" but failed to keep their word. He was well aware that the survivors who had faced us last time were completely wiped out.
"Surrender the six women I name. If you do, I won't touch the rest of you."
""...!!!""
"In fact, I'll continue to protect this complex with my drones, just as I have been."
I had already done my homework with the military drones. Between the high-performance cameras and laser microphones, I knew their secrets inside and out.
