The Law Department Wants to Date - 11
I wasn't the type who particularly hated studying.
If necessary, I could stay up all night clinging to a textbook, and I wasn't completely without ambition when it came to grades.
Even so, the lectures that followed exam week were the last thing I wanted to deal with.
After pouring out all my energy once already, concentration was hard to come by, and simply sitting in the lecture hall felt like a pointless waste of time.
Caught between the sense of liberation that exams were over and the semester that still wasn't finished, this week's classes were always the most awkward and the most unbearable to sit through.
The lecture hall for the liberal arts course "Psychology in Everyday Life" was a large room with a capacity of two hundred, and today it was packed as usual.
Normally, no matter how broad the spectrum, liberal arts courses were mostly taken within the same college, but this class was different.
With such a huge enrollment and open to the entire natural sciences division, the hall was filled with faces I'd never seen before.
Students from the engineering departments—mechanical, electrical and electronic, computer science—as well as physics, chemistry, and life sciences from the natural sciences college.
With such a variety of majors came an equally varied mix of fashion and atmosphere, and I could count the familiar faces on one hand.
On top of that, this liberal arts course didn't have assigned seating.
Most major courses at Seohan University used assigned seats, but liberal arts classes were an exception.
Since the seat changed every time, you never knew who would be sitting next to you, and attendance was checked casually through a mobile app.
Rumors of proxy attendance ran rampant because of it, but neither the professor nor the assistants seemed to care much.
Standing at the podium was an assistant professor, not the main instructor.
The original professor of "Psychology in Everyday Life" was a famous figure at Seohan University, the quintessential ivory-tower type.
He was obsessively diligent when it came to research and papers, but astonishingly indifferent when it came to lectures or keeping promises with students.
He had probably dumped the class on the assistant professor without a second thought, using some other schedule as an excuse.
The notice that "Due to the professor's personal circumstances, today's lecture will be conducted by the assistant professor" had only gone up on EveryTime that morning.
As if trying to make up for the situation, the assistant professor was reading through the slides one by one with rigid, excessive diligence and zero flexibility.
"According to Freud's psychoanalysis, human personality consists of the id, the ego, and the superego……"
There was no emotion in his voice. It sounded like TTS reading text aloud.
He read every single word on the screen without skipping any, offered no additional explanations, and gave no examples.
He didn't even check the students' reactions.
He just looked at the screen, read, moved to the next slide, and read again.
It was embarrassing to even call it a class.
It would have been better for everyone if he'd just uploaded the PPT file and canceled the lecture.
Still, I held onto a sliver of hope that class might end early.
It was originally a two-hour lecture; if he just read through it like this, maybe it would finish in an hour and a half.
Then I could leave thirty minutes early.
But that hope shattered into pieces.
The assistant professor filled the full two hours with rigid inflexibility.
After finishing the slides, with time still left, he slowly went back to the beginning and kept repeating, "Any questions?"
When no one asked anything, he waited about a minute before moving to the next slide and calling out again, "Any questions?"
He dragged things out like that until exactly two hours had passed before finally ending the class.
A sigh escaped me.
I could've spent this time resting in the club room or doing assignments. It would've been far more productive.
As I was about to leave the lecture hall after class, I heard two male students chatting in the row ahead.
They looked like third-year natural sciences students.
A guy with lightly bleached hair and another wearing glasses were huddled over a phone.
While slinging my bag over my shoulder to leave, I couldn't help overhearing their conversation.
"Hey, did you see that?"
The bleached-haired guy asked excitedly.
"What?"
The glasses guy replied indifferently.
"That Seohan University dance video that dropped yesterday. The new campus goddess is that business freshman… oh right. They say it changed from Jang Eunbi to this girl?"
Jang Eunbi? My ears perked up at the familiar name.
My steps slowed on their own, wanting to hear more.
"Who is she?"
"I don't know either. Everyone's trying to figure it out right now. If more people see it, someone will probably find out. There are a lot of comments on Xstagram saying she's not even a Seohan student."
The bleached-haired guy showed his phone screen to his friend. Without meaning to, my gaze followed.
Playing on the screen was a video of some bunny girl doing a sexy meme dance.
Black enamel leotard, bunny-ear headband, pantyhose, high heels. And a swaying black wig.
Huh.
What the—
That's me.
"Pfft……!"
I sprayed the water I was drinking like a mist.
Droplets splashed onto the back of the student's head in front of me, but I had no time to care.
My throat seized up and a violent cough burst out.
"Oh, are you okay?"
Someone nearby asked, but I couldn't answer.
My eyes stayed glued to the phone screen.
The bunny girl in the video was dancing with a shy, embarrassed girlish expression.
She was trying her best to look good doing the mismatched sexy dance, shaking her hips earnestly, and the way she ran her hands up her thighs looked strangely seductive.
Because the bunny outfit was so provocative, the feminine allure of the dance stood out even more.
The one saving grace was that the area between her legs was mosaicked.
The uploader had probably edited it.
The mosaic didn't just hide the outline of my balls—it was deliberately and strangely arranged to look like an axe mark on a woman.
The not-so-saving grace was that the face mosaic was extremely light.
Practically nonexistent. You could still see the eyes, nose, and mouth clearly enough, and the makeup contours were sharp.
It was obviously me in full makeup and cross-dressing.
I hurried out of the lecture hall and headed for a corner of the hallway.
With trembling hands, I pulled out my phone and searched "Seohan University bunny girl" on Google.
It came up immediately.
Xstar Reels, Xtalk, FemX, XXInside…… It was already circulating through every community.
Some posts had tens of thousands of views, others had hundreds of comments.
The anonymous comments were ridiculous.
Even the comments from fixed usernames kept pouring in.
Comments like these kept appearing one after another.
It was already too late to take it down. No, it was impossible to take down anyway.
My heart pounded violently. Sweat coated my palms and the phone felt like it might slip.
Taking deep breaths to calm down, I traced the source of the video.
It turned out the first place it spread was Xtube Shorts.
I clicked the original video and checked the uploader information.
[juris_prudentia_492]
That was the Xtube ID.
"Jurisprudentia" meant "jurisprudence" in Latin, and 492 was……
Criminal Law Article 492? Or Civil Law Article 492? It looked like some legal code number.
A law student.
It was Kim Hyo-seon.
That gloomy law student had uploaded it. Thinking about it, since she was the one who filmed the video, it could only have been her.
She had said she watched me practice the dance from start to finish seven times in the club room and recorded it.
The cold look in Hyo-seon's eyes when she said "I won't forgive you" flashed through my mind.
This was her revenge for me spraying cum all over her law textbooks.
Just like how Tom Hanks in the movie Cast Away made the volleyball "Wilson" his only friend on the deserted island, the law books had been the only thing that stayed by Hyo-seon's side during her twenty-five years of being a lifelong virgin.
I rushed out of the liberal arts building and ran toward the engineering building where the club room was.
I took the stairs two at a time and sprinted down the hallway. My lungs burned but I couldn't stop.
Bang!
I threw the door open and burst inside.
Then I froze at the sight before me.
Eunbi and Hyo-seon were sitting side by side, leisurely enjoying tea time.
Two convenience store coffee cans and a bag of snacks sat on the table, and the two of them were chatting naturally, like old friends.
Eunbi was smiling brightly as usual, while Hyo-seon sipped her coffee with her usual expressionless face.
What the hell was this atmosphere? Weren't they threatening and blackmailing each other just a few days ago?
"Hey! You uploaded this, didn't you?!"
Still panting, I shoved my phone in Kim Hyo-seon's face while she was casually sipping her coffee.
The screen played the embarrassing bunny girl dance video that no one should ever see.
Hyo-seon glanced at the screen and nodded.
"That's right…… A friend's revenge……"
Her voice was calm. There wasn't even a trace of guilt.
"Ghh……! At least mosaic the face properly!"
"I did……"
"You call that mosaicking? You should've made it as thick as the one on my dick!"
My voice trembled with rage.
The ball outline was only vaguely hidden, looking like an axe mark, while the face was still faintly visible.
