Want to Come Over for Ramen? Or Something My Mom Made?
"Oh, Juhyun? Good to see you. Sit down—it's so loud in here I can barely hear you."
I tugged Juhyun's arm as she perched on the edge of the seat, and she scooted right up against me like she'd been waiting for it.
Min Juhyun...
If we're talking about Min Juhyun—back in high school there was this piece of trash named Min Changho, occupying Rank 8 in our school's Iljinhoe and strutting around like he owned the place. Juhyun here was that bastard's little sister.
A filthy, sick rumor used to make the rounds among the Iljinhoe guys. That Min Changho, that crazy son of a bitch, had taken his own little sister's virginity. It wasn't any of my business, so I'd let it go in one ear and out the other. And now that little kid had grown up and was sitting right in front of me.
"Oppa! How have you been? All I ever heard was that you'd moved away all of a sudden back in high school, and now we run into each other here."
"Yeah, I emigrated to the States out of nowhere. This is my first time back in Korea in about nine years."
Thank god it was dark. I kept catching my eyes drifting downward as we talked. Kids these days sure do fill out nicely. Her cleavage was on full display between that tight top, and the size of those things kept pulling my gaze. Luckily Juhyun didn't notice a thing, just kept chattering away about how happy she was to see me. It was pretty cute.
We were having a pleasant enough conversation when Chanhyuk came swaggering over from across the room, winking at me like a conquering hero. That uncanny bastard. He walked up to the table with his arm wrapped around the waist of that girl from earlier—the one in the underboob outfit, or whatever it was called, tits half hanging out.
Juhyun's eyes went wide when she saw the girl with her chest out standing next to Chanhyuk.
"Huh? Wait, Lee Haneul? What are you doing here...? Oh? Chanhyuk-oppa's here too?"
"Oh? Hey, Juhyun. Wait—this gorgeous lady is your friend?"
Chanhyuk's eyes lit up as he laid on the charm, and Juhyun snorted a laugh, pointing at me.
"Yeah, this is my friend Lee Haneul—and these guys here are friends of that total menace, my mom's son."
"Hi, I'm Lee Haneul."
"Han Taesang."
Before we knew it, the introductions had settled us into a natural two-and-two seating arrangement. They were definitely early-twenties kids—the energy was off the charts. A few rounds of drinks, some dancing to the pounding bass, and time just flew by.
I hadn't gotten this hyped up in a while, and I think I drank well past my usual limit. When I snapped back to my senses, the table had gotten pretty empty. Juhyun looked around, then shouted into my ear.
"Taesang-oppa, where did Chanhyuk-oppa and Haneul go? They went to the bathroom and never came back!"
I scanned the room, but Chanhyuk and that underboob girl were long gone.
Ha. That Pibada bastard. He actually bailed.
There was a reason Chanhyuk's nickname back in school was Pibada—Sea of Blood. It was a crude, dead-obvious handle he earned for going around deflowering nothing but virgins. A guy who loves women that much, I figured he'd held out pretty long tonight. Looking at how things went, he'd clearly charmed Juhyun's friend like a dog in heat and dragged her off to a nearby motel.
So now it was just me and Juhyun left at the table. She'd been knocking back drinks past her limit same as me, her eyes half-glazed—pretty wasted.
"Juhyun, the others are gone. Should we head home too?"
I started to get up, trying to wrap things up, but Juhyun grabbed my sleeve in a hurry and shook her head hard.
"Nngh... I finally ran into my first love after all this time. I don't wanna go home yet..."
"Oppa, let's go out and have just one more soju, okay?"
First love? She just drops that like it's nothing. Kids these days...
"You look pretty drunk. Your tongue's all tangled. You sure you're okay?"
"I'm not drunk! Oppa, there's a street stall right up ahead that makes the most incredible ramen, you know? Let's go there, come on!"
Juhyun clung to my arm with zero regard for anyone's opinion, and her chest pressed warm and full against my forearm.
Pretending I couldn't refuse, I left the club with her and headed for the street stall through the cold night air. She pushed open the door of her regular pocha—the one she'd been raving about, practically drooling—and called out to the ajumma. The answer that came back was ice cold.
"Aigoo, I'm so sorry, honey! We're all out of ramen tonight—can't do ramen!"
"Wha—? Ajumma, for real? You sold out of ramen today? Aww, it's so good too... I'm so disappointed."
Must be ridiculously good if they already sold out. We settled for a bottle of soju and some fish cake stew and sat across from each other.
Juhyun sipped at her soju, then looked up at me with flushed cheeks. Whether it was the orange lighting or the alcohol, her pale face looked especially red.
"Taesang-oppa. Did you know... I had a huge crush on you for a long time when we were kids?"
"I had a vague idea, yeah—you gave me chocolate on Valentine's Day. Didn't know it'd been going on that long, though."
"I really liked you for years, in secret..."
She fidgeted with her soju glass, hanging her head in embarrassment. It was pretty cute. Adorable, even. Hard to believe that little kid had grown into a woman who could shake a horny guy's heart like this. Time really flies.
"But why'd you like a guy like me so much? I was different back then. Didn't have a damn thing going for me."
"Haha, so Oppa knows he's a catch now, huh? Yeah, honestly, you're so much hotter now it's not even a comparison."
"Alright, so why'd you like that clueless loser back then?"
"Back then... do you remember? That time it was pouring at the neighborhood playground? You held your umbrella over me and even bought me hot cocoa so I wouldn't catch a cold."
"Ha, you liked someone for years over something that small?"
I snorted a laugh like I couldn't believe it. Juhyun had been smiling with me, but then her eyes suddenly went wet, and a bitter smile took over.
"The truth is... I was going through something really, really hard back then. I was at the playground crying by myself, thinking I wanted to die."
"Something hard? What's a student got to be going through that's that bad?"
At my question, Juhyun knocked back her soju, then clenched her teeth and murmured, low.
"Min Changho... that son of a bitch. He'd come into my room sometimes while I was sleeping and touch my chest and stuff... but that day, he crossed the line."
"I was so scared I couldn't even scream. Couldn't even say no..."
A single tear dropped from Juhyun's eye onto the table.
So that filthy rumor hadn't been a rumor at all. It was fact. Min Changho. I barely had anything to do with him, didn't know much about him—but damn, what a piece of garbage. He'd actually taken his own little sister.
I didn't let on that I'd already known, so she wouldn't feel ashamed. I just poured her soju in silence and listened, quietly taking in the messy, painful story she'd kept buried in her chest for so long. I patted the shoulder of Juhyun, who'd been sobbing her way through it for a while, and said,
"That must've been really hard at that age, Juhyun."
"I'm okay now. I moved out the second I graduated high school, so I don't have to look at that bastard's face anymore. It's a relief, honestly."
"Yeah. You've been through a lot."
I was starting to get tired. Figured I should send her home, so I tried to wrap things up.
"It's gotten pretty late. Let's get you home—I'll take you."
I helped Juhyun—her face a mess of tear tracks—into a taxi. Watching her lean quietly against my shoulder with her eyes closed, I felt a pang of pity... and I could see her chest even better. She'd grown up real nice, our Juhyun...
It was close, so we reached the lobby of her officetel in no time. I straightened her slender shoulders and waved.
"Min Juhyun, get inside safe. See you next time."
"Thanks for taking me home. You get home safe too, Oppa."
I was standing there, just waiting to see her get inside, when Juhyun—about to punch in the door code—whipped around and grabbed my collar tight. In those wet, glistening eyes, a thick hunger she couldn't hide was swirling.
A classic, but unmistakable signal. I'd been a little disappointed myself, so I pretended I couldn't refuse and followed Juhyun up to her officetel.
Mm... I'd hardly be Han Taesang if I turned down a woman coming onto me. Nobody else was around, but I still said "pardon the intrusion" as I followed her inside.
A cute, girly room, just like you'd expect from a young woman. A twin bed with a pink comforter and cushions... adorable.
"Oppa, but... there's no ramen?"
Ramen would be in the kitchen, but Juhyun was just standing there behind me, blankly announcing there was none.
"Want me to go out and buy some?"
"Oppa, do you not know what 'want to come over for ramen' means? You're so dense. This guy's actually looking for ramen, I swear..."
Then she looked up at me with a sly little grin.
"No ramen, huh... Well, I guess I'll just have to eat something your mother made, then."
"Food my mom made?"
"No. The Juhyun that Juhyun's mom made..."
"Hahaha, Oppa, you're so funny..."
The tips of Juhyun's ears had gone a little red. Cute, and filthy at the same time. In the light, I could see the thick hunger in her eyes. Checkmate.
I stepped in closer to Min Juhyun and stroked her cheek. She slipped into my arms like it was the most natural thing in the world, wrapped her hands around my neck, and mashed her lips against mine like she couldn't wait another second.
"You're the one who started this."
I took hold of her face and pushed my tongue in deep. A jolt ran through me as my tongue mapped every corner of her mouth. I poured the kiss into Juhyun's small mouth as she sucked teasingly at my tongue, holding her tighter and tighter. That huge chest on her small frame had been pressed against me since earlier, like it was about to burst.
Truth is, I'd known since we headed for the street stall.
Tonight, I was going to have sex with Min Juhyun.
