I called Yu Seolhyeon up to the rooftop of the Second Major Beast Dungeon Tactical Training Field right when lunchtime hit because I had something important to say to her.
Entering the area was forbidden, but since the password to the rooftop door had leaked out multiple times in the game, it made the perfect spot for a private conversation.
In the original story it would’ve been where the main heroine chatted secretly with the other male protagonists, but so what.
“You were there when I came in with Soyeon during class, right?”
I looked down at the vast Union Academy campus and casually brought up the topic.
“She’s been a bit quieter since then.”
I sneaked a glance beside me. Yu Seolhyeon stood leaning slightly against the railing without saying a word, gazing up at the sky.

It was the recurve bow from the Raven series by the National Intangible Cultural Heritage artisan Lee Hwan-young.
Commonly called the Raven bow, it was made for major beast dungeons and far exceeded the draw weight of ordinary recurve bows.
In the game, it was one of the high-attack black-framed bows that looked really cool.

Yu Seolhyeon skimmed the paper with a flick, then slowly raised her head and gave me a long stare.
“So you want me to buy all of these for you?”

I cut her off with a flat voice and took out my sleeping phone from my pocket to show her the stock transaction history.

Yu Seolhyeon stared at the screen in shock.

“Black Door Clan, LB Medical, Hansung Pharmaceutical, Live Gate Group, VE Electronics… adding them all up is about three hundred billion. A few of them are expected to jump four to six times more.”
When I remembered the memories from my past life, I had immediately created a watchlist on my phone before I could forget.

“Lunchtime is almost over. We should head down.”

Anyway, Yu Seolhyeon and I headed down from the rooftop.
